The virtuous and able warrior Bajirao Peshwa I is described in the book. All the high class war aspects and tacts by Bajirao are put forth by the author. Nights are not meant for sleeping, but to destroy the enemy was the principle mostly followed by Bajirao which proved successful to attack the enemy in self territory with proper plan of attack. He also developed and used the defense tact of guerilla warfare introduced by Shivaji Maharaj. Various events reveal the war strategies by Bajirao I. In addition to the above, the book also consist of an account of Peshwas and the then incident by Mahadev Govind Ranade supporting the virtues of Bajirao I. (Via Sahyadri Books)
