I was given this book an exchange for an honest review. Spoiler Ahead This was book two in this series and it was a really good book that I liked. Hunter is the best friend of Samantha's brother Clyde she had crushed on him since they were kids and she never planned to tell him how she felt. Sam was on a break from law school when she was raped and beaten nearly to death when Hunter rescued her. Although she refused to tell him who did it she was on an outing when she came face to face with one of the three men that attacked her. Hunter and Sam had flirted with each other over the years but never crossed the line, but this assault made them realize how much they cared for each other. This was a really good dark read that I liked it was full of violence that comes with reading MC reads. Hunter and Clyde are out for blood to find out why someone would want to hurt Sam. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling like other books these author have wrote. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

4 hunter stars!! Hunter, Hunter, Hunter!

Hunter and Samantha, where do I even start?? If I’ve ever seen any book couple that belongs together, it’s these two!! Their chemistry is insane and so smokin’ hot! I loved this story and their romance, it was so well put together!! I love Danielle Slater and what she puts together, so it was no surprise to me that I loved this book too!!

Excited to see what else is coming our way!

It made me an emotional mess
I adored Hunter no matter what a bad arse biker guy he is he is si trustworthy and no matter how long he's been in love with his best mate Clyde's sister Sam he hasn't touched her or told her nor she him except when she was still at high school and they had said they couldn't go down that route.
She was a loving and trustworthy girl who believed in good even becoming an attorney until one fateful night where her life is turned upside down & the most horrific things were done to her and it was Hunter who finds her first and is distraught and panic stricken & he's there as is Clyde by her bedside and then making her become stronger & even not pushing her away when she see's what they can and will do when the needs occur but she JUST doesn't care about that all she cares about is to tell the man she loves that she's been in love with him most of their lives together would he breaks to do the same.

I recommend this brilliant book in all ways as there's heat in fight of the various of kinds, love in the biggest ways and such a brilliant read where you won't want to put down unless you have to pack up for a massive move and sort out the removal company lol

I received this for my honest review. This story pulled me in from the start with the graphic violence, sexual assault and beating of Samantha by three bikers and then the rescue by Hunter. Hunter is the best friend of Samantha's brother Clyde she had crushed on him since they were kids but it was unspoken that they would never be more. She was home for a break from law school when the incident happened and they both had made a life in with an MC, she never asked and they never told what went on, their goal was to keep her on the right track.... In the beginning you get Samantha's explanation of the trio's friendship as kids while she is in and out of consciousness. The story takes you on their journey of dealing with what happened and how the revenge was taken out on each of Samantha attackers when they found each one and how in the end she accepted Hunter and her brother's violence and destructive mind set. The bad boys were really bad boys with a goal in their minds, vengeance. This story is graphic but it needed to be I think so you understand the characters and their motives for what they did.

Hunter is the best friend of Samantha's brother( Clyde) and considered off-limit, yet his heart didn't get the memo. The heroine was home for a break from law school when the incident occurred. The book was repetitious the first few chapters with the explanation of the trio friendship as kids. The story described the different ways revenge was taken out on each of Samatha attackers and how she accepted Hunter and her brother's violence and destructive mind set. Overall, a good read

Oh Samantha, what a beautiful, courageous young woman you are., You have always loved him.....Hunter, but never told him. Now he has saved your life. After getting violently attacked by 3 men, your courage, strength and determination shines through. Hunter finds you and takes you to safety and gets the help you need. He has always loved her but she is his best friends Clydes sister, so it's hands off.
A heartbreaking story to start off, brilliantly written but turns into so much more. Violence, rage, revenge, hopes, dreams and finally the most potent magic of all....LOVE. The will to survive is strong and learn to trust again.

This was fast paced and full of angst. Hunter, is part of the MC with Clyde and his best friend. Samantha is Clyde's sister and has had feelings for Hunter for years. They have a great friendship.
Hunter saves Samantha after she was brutally attacked and raped.

I am glad that the author didn't just gloss over that fact. She showed the pain that Samantha was in. The feelings that she went through and how others handle it.
I was also happy with how the story went when trying to find the perpetrators. It wasn't an instant fix.
This is also a romance book but it didn't get steamy until the end.

From the title, I expected just Alpha-male-bad boy romance.
But nope. This was MC romance with brutal tragedy & revenge.
Hero was attractive. At first, I thought of him as I'm-a-man-with-alpha-male-attitude.
But nope again. He was I'm-being-strong-cause-my-people-need-that-and-I-will-give-it-to-them-cause-I-love-them kind of guy. Hard but tender at the same time.
Sometimes, naration was too long but writing was basically good.

All I can say is WOW, we are talking real bad boys getting revenge. This was a hard story about sexual assault and how men who are willing to take things into their own hands handle such matters. It is something I have heard even mild mannered men say they would do under the same circumstances, although they in reality would not. I received this book free in exchange for an honest review.

ARC for honest review.

Wow, intense! From start to finish this book is super intense, graphic too. I think i'm still trying to process it all. I enjoyed it, it kept me on the edge of my seat with my heart in my mouth. Deep and dark story line, good characters. Well written, i felt i was there watching it all play out. Though this kind of story isnt for everyone, i would still recommend it.

Better than I thought

Gotta love those bad boy romances. This was kind of a dark gritty book. There was lots of violence and it was pretty graphic. (Which I love). There was no sex until the very end, but I do understand why. So this was a good book to me.
