I wondered what happened to Sandy (who was introduced in Escape, book 4) after Dan and Quinn's escape so I love that this book tells Sandy's story and the story of the other people in the lumberyard.

CONTAMINATION-RESISTANCE #7

Got to say I feel like I've been jamming in my car, with one of my favorite old rock tunes, hollering out the words as only I know them, and the ending notes play softly and fade away. Sandy's story was a plus. But who knew that she would become a menace to monsters and thugs! Great story! Great series! 💯
P.S. Everytime you see Reginalds name, Hiss. I wanted to stomp that evil @$*#!

Fighting for survival

I loved it cause the good people won . They never gave up but they did have their doubts. They had to overcome some major challenges. I recommend this book to anyone that loves zombies.

Thank you

I really enjoyed this book and hope that you will continue to keep writing about the survivors. I am glad that the survivors were not killed by the creatures or anyone else.

This book was really good!

In this book, we revisit Sandy who helped Dan and Quinn escape from Reginald and the Lumberyard.

Reginald wanted/wants to kill Dan and Quinn so he takes off in his car to do so leaving Sandy, Hector, Marcia, and their young daughter Anabel under guard by Simon. Simon isn't evil and when the "zombies" invade the lumberyard sanctuary, he, Sandy, Hector, and his family leave. This is the story of their adventures and the other survivors they encounter. I won't give it away but suffice it to say that most of their encounters are not with good people.

I will say that this series improved as it went on. I like the idea of the author going back and telling the survival stories of peripheral characters. It's like meeting up with friends you thought you would never see again. If Mr. Piperbrook writes more books in this series dealing with peripheral characters, I WILL buy them.

I have just finished reading this last installment from the omnibus edition so just wanted to say - fast-paced, brimming with action, great characters, suspense and tension.

Enjoyable and entertaining.

Highly recommended.

This rating is for both the book and the series as a whole. Satisfying standard zombie fare with essentially three different endings as people branch off in earlier books. This book ties up the storyline for one of the characters that hadn't been covered yet. Thrilling to read, entertaining series

This book pulled is back to when Dan & Quinn were at the junkyard and the people they met there. Fast paced and keeps you on your toes. Excellent book!

Pretty great book for a minor character from one of the earlier books. It was great to read your Sandy dealt with the aftermath of getting Dan and Quinn from the lumber yard.

Great series.

This series gives the reader a very talented author and a great story line. I really enjoyed getting to "know" the different characters. I liked the suspense of wondering if a character would end up being a decent human being or just as bad as the zombies. Loved the family units also.

Good story!

Reading this series since the beginning, have enjoyed all the books. Recommend it highly to anyone who enjoys this genre. I would have liked a little more closure to the ending is my only complaint.

Entertaining

Part 7 is entertaining. It tells Sandy's story showing you their adventures in the apocalyptic book. Can't wait to see what book 8 will bring.

I am glad Sandy and her group made it for the most part. I was wondering what happened to her after she set Dan and Quinn free.
