Stripped #1

Stripped Bare

Rate this book
When unlucky in love Mia O’Halloran finds herself face to Sex God V-Lines with a chiseled, hot male stripper in possession of a package not even the postal service could lose, what happens in Vegas is definitely supposed to stay in Vegas.
She doesn’t expect to find Mr. Multiple Oh-Oh-Oh as her client—and hell, how is she supposed to pitch a marketing plan when she can remember how easily he briefed her g-spot on an orgasm… or five?
West Rykman has one rule: you don’t mix business with pleasure. They can look, but unless they’re shoving a dollar inside his pants, they can’t touch. He learned that lesson the hard way two years ago.
He had no idea the flame-haired vixen with a penchant for hot, kinky sex and a mouth that would make a hooker cry would be the one to bend—and break—his rule.
She’s sworn off men after ten too many heartbreaks.
He’s determined he’ll never lose it all for a woman again.
She’s pretty screwed.
He’s really screwed.
And not in the we’re-not-sleeping-tonight way…

Reading an Emma Hart book is like stepping into a land brimming with delicious, happy, and enticing FEELS. Her novels are decadent, steamy and always fun. They leave me with tummy flutters, goofy smiles and an overall sense of pure bliss. Her heroines are fierce and sassy, and her hero's are alpha male perfection.

JUST. DIVINE.

She's an author who knows how to romance her readers. She does it time and time again. I love her stories, I can't get enough. She engages my senses, make me blush, swoon, and giggle. And at the end of the day she strikes me with a "this is the best book ever" feeling. It happens EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. And I truly can't say enough good things.

Stripped Bare was everything!! EVERYTHING I wanted and SO MUCH more. It was HOT, and I'm not talking a little hot! It had have me sweating!!!! West DOES NOT PLAY AROUND. He is a BEAST in bed, a dirty talking KING! And when he wants something he does not back down. You can't help but fall, and fall fast. He's swoony with a cocky, arrogant disposition that makes you squirm. An alpha who drives you crazy, yet lights you on fire at the same time. FANTASTIC.

West Rykman was addictive; his very touch was an aphrodisiac. His kiss was a deadly drug, and I was afraid I was hooked on him.

Mia is our heroine who meets West when she takes her friend (who's getting married) to a strip club for her bachelorette party. West is there and is paid to give Mia a little show. Whooooooo, baby!!!! ***cue melty feelsssss***

Mia is a down right lovable character. She's smart and sassy yet undeniably cute. She's had a string of dating disasters that have put her off. She's tired of meeting the wrong guys and she's sick of falling in love. Mia is endearing. She's a girls girl who loves her friends and is loyal and fierce.

“Mia,” he whispered, kissing the curve of my shoulder. He propped himself up on his elbow, his cock pulling out of me, and moved the hair that covered my face. His eyes were heavy lidded as I peered up at him. “What are you doing to me, angel?”
“Probably the same thing you’re doing to me,” I answered softly before swallowing. I rolled over onto my back and softly stroked my fingers along the curve of his jaw. “And I don’t know that, either.”

Together Mia and West have an undeniable chemistry. Their first meeting is EXPLOSIVE and leaves a lasting imprint on them both. It's INTOXICATING.

This story is exceptionally hot. It's a good time, the perfect lazy day read. It'll have you smiling from ear to ear and it'll certainly get you hot and bothered. I truly loved everything about this erotic, sizzling romance. Emma Hart nailed it. Stripped Bare, seduced, enticed and romanced this reader from the first to the last page. I was hooked! I can't wait to see what's up next for Beck!

I should make a fancy editorial review for this. You know, the ones that authors use to promote their books and such. I should but I don't think what I have to say is appropriate for promotions. So I'll leave it here.

I fucking loved every second of this book. In true Hart fashion she had me head over heels, ass over elbows, deeply in love with every single word. My eyes couldn't read fast enough and when it was over I just sat here looking at the last page unable to leave this world she's brought me into.

So - yeah ... I loved it.

Overall Opinion: This was a sexy, easy, low drama read. I'm not quite sure why, but I am always drawn to stripper/escort type stories. This didn't disappoint. It was a hot read, but it wasn't all about the sex and had a story to go along with it. Did it get deep and meaningful? No, but it served its purpose for me. It had very little drama and angst, and the little bit that there was was caused by the h being a little bit of a commitment-phobe. It also had some great side characters, and some laugh out loud moments.

Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Mia and West's story. Mia's best friend is getting married and when they are in Las Vegas for her bachelorette party, she is given a private lap dance by West. They then end the night with a hot ONS. Months later, Mia is sent to Vegas for an account that her boss had to hand off due to personal reasons. They are both shocked to find out that they'll be working together to work on remarketing West's strip club. The heat between them returns instantly, and they cannot deny their connection. There are some funny moments, some hot sexy times, and a little family drama...but they get a HFN ending.

POV: This was told in Mia's POV until the epilogue which was in West's POV.

Overall Pace of Story: Good until the end. I felt like the end was abrupt, but it might just be me in that I wanted more closure. I never skimmed, and I thought it flowed well.

Instalove: Kind of. They move fast in developing their feelings, but I didn't feel like it was the annoying type of instalove.

H rating: 4 stars. West. He was a hottie. I wish we got his POV (other than just in the epilogue) to understand where he was coming from.

h rating: 3.5 stars. Mia. I liked her sarcastic, sassy ways. I loved her inner dialogue. I did have some issues with her pushing the H away at times.

Sadness level: Low. No tissues needed.

Push/Pull: Yes

Heat level: Moderate/high. They have hot chemistry and scenes, but not so much that it takes away from the story.

Descriptive sex: Yes

Safe sex: Yes. Mentions of condoms, birth control, and std status. I don't remember any mention of previous practices.

OW/OM drama: Mild

Sex scene with OW or OM: No

Cheating: No

Separation: No

Possible Triggers: Yes, but mild

Closure: This didn't have nearly enough closure for me! I really wanted (more of) a jump ahead epilogue that shows them as a committed and happy couple. I focused mainly on setting up the next book, and left me with what I would call a HFN ending.

How I got it: It was part of my scribed subscription

Safety: I'd say it's Safe for most readers.

I can't believe I almost didn't read this story. I'm not even sure why, but I hadn't put it on my tbr and only realized that when it came across my update feed again. Either way, I'm really happy I finally started this book because I loved West with a burning passion.

Mia and West had a very sexy story and I really liked seeing the chemistry that was between them. They had the kind of connection that you just couldn't miss, from the first meeting between them it was evident that they had something special, and then I just couldn't wait to see more of it. And I was so not disappointed.

Bottom line, read this book! If you want a sexy as hell story that's going to keep you entertained, then this is the book for you.

“I might call you angel, but I have a feeling you’re going to be my own personal sin, Mia O’Halloran.”

I need to start off by saying I was going through a major slump while reading this book. And it still got a 3.75. That's not bad when you consider what could've gone down.

Luckily, the chemistry between these two was OFF THE CHARTS and I had no choice but to get sucked into the dirty talking, sexy times.

Seriously. Can you beat a man who chooses to strip for fun!

Good stuff all the way around.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas….or does it really? Leave it to Emma Hart for making me want to take a trip out to Vegas now after reading her latest new release, Stripped Bare. And let me just say that this book was rock solid sexy and panty-melting hot.

photo 3067d09b03e749fcdd5db3fc7ecf2d_zps9qckxgky.gif “West Rykman was addictive; his very touch was an aphrodisiac. His kiss was a deadly drug, and I was afraid I was hooked on him.”

Las Vegas aka Sin City. The Disneyland for adults. What’s not to love about a city that is known for wild parties and of course the perfect destinations for bachelorette and bachelor parties. And as someone who has been to several bachelorette parties in Vegas, the strip club always ends up on the itinerary. And for Mia O’Halloran, it is her maid of honor duty to embarrass the bride to be by going to a strip club and getting her a personal lap dance. Well as it turns out, Mia O’Halloran was the one who got the lap dance that would rocked her world.

photo 3067d09b03e749fcdd5db3fc7ecf2d_zps9qckxgky.gif “Apparently, my day was determined to really go to shit, because there I was, staring into the eyes of the stripper... who was also the owner. And who, three weeks ago, had fucked the ever-loving shit out of me. And had the most wonderful cock. Oh god. Why was I thinking about his cock? I shouldn’t have been thinking about his cock. What was I thinking? About his cock, obviously. Damn it, no! Thinking about his cock was off-limits. Any kind of anything to do with his cock was off-limits. Why was I thinking cock so much? I had to stop thinking about his... dick. There. That made a nice change. But I was still thinking about it.”

#StrippedBare

No names exchanged, Mia decides to live it up in Vegas when she invites the stripper to her hotel room. One night of sex with a stranger was what Mia needed and wanted. Well Mr. Stripper did his job as he gave Mia endless amount of orgasms and pleasure. That one night should be the end of it as Mia returns back to California. Well, for Mia what happens in Vegas, doesn’t stay in Vegas especially when you have to go back to Vegas for a marketing client. And that client happens to be Mr. Stripper himself.

photo 3067d09b03e749fcdd5db3fc7ecf2d_zps9qckxgky.gif “Besides, I wanted him. I did. I was human, after all. He was the kind of man who could get you pregnant just by walking in a room and meeting your eyes. Mary, Jesus, and Joseph, move on over. West Rykman was the new giver of immaculate conception”

West Rykman is co-owner of Rock Solid, a strip club and also part time stripper/dancer. And so when he sees Mia in his club, he is shocked but at the same time excited. As Mia tries to help West and his business partner on marketing and bringing in more clientele, it seems that Mia is finding it extra difficult to stay away. And how could she when West is always rock solid for her. Mixing business and pleasure was never the plan but for West and Mia, it was inevitable. So will Mia be able to leave what happened in Vegas in Vegas or will she be finding a reason to stay?

photo 3067d09b03e749fcdd5db3fc7ecf2d_zps9qckxgky.gif “He was no longer just a sexy guy who gave killer orgasms and stripped. He was... a real person. A real guy with feelings and memories, successes and triumphs, low points and mistakes. That was scary.”

Stripped Bare was smoking hot!!! Seriously, Emma Hart has truly outdone herself as she delivers a story that weaves humor, banter, hot sex, and of course romance. Emma Hart has always been one of my favorite authors since her stories are always such a fun read and so if you are looking for a summer read that will have you laughing, blushing, smiling and swooning at the same time then look no further than this book.

I loved this book! Start to finish, there was not a single thing I didn't enjoy! I know I often gripe about "insta-anything" but Emma Hart just delivered a romance with humor and heat that developed in a matter of 2 weeks and it was fabulous!

The book Fairies have been so good to me as this is the 2nd book in a row that gave me a strong, sexy man with beautiful heart. West is a stripper! What? Player...right? Oh no...business man...hard worker...determined...and so endearing. Whether commanding the panty drop or sharing fears about taking a chance on something good, He is quite perfect in my opinion!

When you toss in Mia, a quirky fun sassafras kinda gal who can keep up in the heat department...well Stripped Bare really was the perfect "chaos" of a love story. There is definitely something to say for the libido ruling the heart. West and Mia will melt the screen on any eReader and tug the heart strings on the very next page. Kudos Ms. Hart as this just moved into my top reads of 2016♡

This one had its good moments, but I'm just too jaded at this point. I've been in a long book slump, and think I just need to change it up and read a different genre. I thought the characters had good chemistry, but my pet peeves got the best of me. I just can't read about hot wet tight pussies anymore. "You.Are. Mine"? ugh, I can't even. The humor and dialogue between the friends seemed kind of forced and wasn't all that funny, imo. I blame myself, because I should have known what to expect. Some of my friends really liked this one, so you might want to give it a try, it's probably just me!

I really think I should create a bookshelf called "Don't Bother With Panties" because this book belongs there. Or maybe "Don't Read Without Significant Other Nearby." Or "Definitely Don't Read In Front Of People Because The Noises You'll Make is Embarrassing."
Because REALLY.

As an author myself, I should be able to accurately describe the level of heat Hart brings with Stripped Bare. I got nothing.
Scorching? Sweltering? Combustible?
The hottest thing I've read this year BY FAR, Stripped Bare is the ultimate down and dirty read.
You want an indulgence? You want kink? You want inappropriate levels of pure, unadulterated sex?
If so, this is for you. If not, hell, this might even be for you too. Try it. ;)
Giving this five stars while I try to create that bookshelf ...

This was the first book I've read from Emma Hart and it was quite good. What I really liked about it was that it read like a RomCom movie, with some extremely hot scenes thrown in.

I developed a love/hate relationship with the FMC, Mia. She had an aversion to commitment after enduring many dating disasters. Her push and pull went beyond simple stubbornness. It was actually a bit OTT at times and left me a little frustrated with her. However, I really enjoyed her inner monologues, especially in relation to her friends and her mother. I did giggle a time or two.

The characters that stole the show for me were West and Beck. The author did a fantastic job with bringing them to life and West's hotness virtually leaped from the pages.

"Hot, successful, wealthy, good in bed?"

Yup. That he was. And he was faithful, loyal and ready to commit.

There was a quick HFN that lead into book 2, Stripped Down, which will be Beck's story.

This is my first Emma Hart book and let me tell you, it’s pretty freaking perfect. First, it’s funny and I love funny, like legit I will take a book that makes me laugh over one that makes me cry any day. Second, it’s hot as sin, like 5 seconds in hot and it didn’t let up. Last, it made me so giddy reading about their moments together. I can’t wait to read more Emma Hart books now!

West Rykman, yes perfect name, is the owner of Rock Solid. Mia O’Halloran and her friends are visiting the strip club during her friend’s bachelorette weekend in Vegas. Mia’s bestie purchases a lap dance for her and West decides he will be the one to do it. The dance is nothing like she expected, it’s the hottest moment of her life and it leads her to do the unthinkable, she invites him back to her hotel.

So yeah, we are like 5 seconds in and it’s already smoking hot! I loved how this story turned out to be more when Mia returns home to learn she has been put in charge of the clubs marketing. Back to Vegas Mia goes and imagine her surprise whens he realizes the club owner is no one other than her sexy stripper.

Both of these characters are completely lovable and you can absolutely relate to Mia. I love how she isn’t over the top, just a regular girl. West is a little dominating, but again not over the top, completely hot. Stripped Bare is exactly what I was looking for in a read. It’s fun, sexy, and had plenty of feels. I definitely recommend when you are looking for a rom-com, that’s also steamy!

Judging by the cover, I should have expected what was coming. There was plenty of hot dirty talk and steamy sex, but unfortunately, that was pretty much all there was. I found myself wishing for more story development or a reason the couple ended up together other than wanting more sexy times. The girlfriends also sounded a bit young for their age and a few editing mistakes interrupted the reading flow. Besides that, I had a great time visualizing the male strippers and am now longing for a Vegas trip.

I enjoyed this, for the most part, the end dragged a little when Mia was carrying on and on with excuses. The writing was easy to read and the sex was pretty hot.

I'm still not sure I can ever think of male strippers working a pole as sexy though.

Spoilers ahead.......
Mia hooks up with a stripper at her bff's bachelorette party, weeks later she goes to Vegas to do marketing for a strip club and finds West to actually be half owner of the business. The chemistry between them is fiery and though Mia tries to resist once again sleeping with West but she fails spectacularly. West had a bad experience in the past but he definitely pursues Mia and knows how to get her to see things his way.

At the beginning I loved this, Mia was confident yet cute and West was a dirty talking Alpha just the way I like em. As time went on however Mia just proves to be another wishy washy h. I want him, but it's unprofessional, ahhh he's so hot and sexy but it's unprofessional, okay I slept with him again but I'm not going to again.......get it??? Going along this did nothing but aggravate me. And then there's West, the dedicated hardworking businessman who strips in his club for fun. He started off great but pretty soon all there is to West is a whole lots of "fucks", a dirty mouth,a hot body, abig cock and a waist that can really move. Maybe it's because we didn't get his pov until the very end but I needed a bit ......more to West. Then there's the stripping, he did it on 2 other occasions after their initial hookup. Both times grinding his erect penis on different women who are only too eager to touch his body.......ummmm that's a no go for me. All that sexiness is to be kept for the h dammit. Though in all fairness he did offer to stop after the ily and such.

All in all this was ok, though I thought it would've been great. Nevertheless I'm curious about Beck(again cuz it's a reread too) so I'm moving on.

I read 75 percent of the book and that was just torture. It is just terrible, the sexism and rapey-but-im-making-it-sexy just didn't work for me. For me consent and agreeable chemistry is necessary in a romance book (or any book) but it's the basis of a story. This is absolute trash like I'm burning my eyeballs reading this.. I just could not hop on this double standard but I'm-in-love-with-you-so-its-all-good train. I'm done.

Warning: some light NSFW stuff here.

Girl meets a really hot male-stripper at a club when she was celebrating her BFF's bachelorette party there, got a private lap-dance from said stripper and they later had one night together.

Fast forward a few weeks, she ends up at the same club again as the marketing consultant hired to boost the club's image and the owner of said club happens to be the hot stripper guy. Awkwardness and sexual tension ensues.

Sounds like any other romance story plot? Let's build from that - the guy is also a stripper and successful businessman and an all-around good guy who's determined to make the girl fall for him once he meets her again.

I just couldn't resist putting this in....

They have a somewhat professional relationship that quickly morphed into a sexual one. But the girl is afraid to own up to her feelings as she's afraid the whole relationship they have is as temporary as her duration of her work assignment at the club. Add in a perpetually horny and irresistible hero, a girl who can't resist him and lots of sexy scenes and you get a really, really hot smutty romance.

The story is simple enough, writing's straight-forward, there are no complicated or last minute plot twists, no evil villain coming in between their love, no actual drama other than....well...there's really none unless you count the heroine's reluctance. For most parts of the story, it's about West and Mia getting it on everywhere and almost every time they're in the same room.

If there's anything that can be learned from this story (yes there are some gems), it is how to promote a club using very practical, creative and do-able ideas.

A light and relaxing read. I love Beck in this one and the next book is about him. So i'm off for the next one.

Holy shit that has to be one of the hottest books I have read in a while. I literally couldn’t put it down once I picked it up.

West was the perfect wet dream of a man. Seriously. Damn!!! Sexy stripper. Successful businessman. Dirty Talking extraordinaire. With the right mix of take charge bossy alpha and sweet and sensitive caring guy. I think I came just thinking about him.

“You didn’t mention your name,” I gasped when he kissed his way down my neck. My hands moved to undo the buttons of his shirt, my back arching. “West,” he replied, the word a murmur against my skin. “Now you know what to scream when I fuck you.” Yes. Yes, I did.

Mia was awesome too. She was quirky and hilarious and I loved her inner dialogue almost as much as I loved the random crazy that fell out of her mouth. Add in the relationships she had with her friends and I had quite a few laugh out loud moments that just made me love her so much.

Which isn’t to say she didn’t have her faults. I seriously wanted to slap her commitment phobic ass quite a few times but then West would come along and say something growly or dirty or sexy or sweet and make me all wet and swoony and I would forget my earlier ire.

Oh Ms. Hart, you've done it again. Made me fall in love with one of your stories. This one has definitely risen to one of my favorites from Emma Hart. It's wicked hot with a heaping dose of love and conflict. The heat level was quite possibly the highest I'd ever read from this author, much to my extreme satisfaction.

I think what kept this story so interesting was the fact that the wishy washy way the female character dealt with love was very true to a committment phobic type female. It's as if she was presented her dream man but was so damn afraid of it, she had to disect ev3ery facet before realizing what all of us readers already knew.

West is a hunk, a once and a while stripper, rich, sexy as sin, and falling for our girl. I'm certain most readers were getting pissed at Mia as she dealt with reality her way. I however felt it was more believable than someone who just hops into a relationship with someone and changes their entire life. As an independent woman, she had some serious choices to make and she made them the only way she knew how.

"Stripped Bare by Emma Hart was not only white hot, but a realistic approach to two people falling in love. My favorite part...the sex scenes. Smoldering, unique, and panty-melting." ~Audrey Carlan, #1 NYT Bestselling Author

First off... the male stripper trope is not really my thing. I find it to be a huge turn off and oftentimes cringeworthy. With that being said, I really enjoyed this one. Although I was skimming the dance scenes, I was happy they were few and far between, so I could focus on the storyline instead.

The chemistry was palpable and the progression of the relationship felt believable despite the insta-love/lust feel.

Both MCs were quite likeable, although the h really annoyed me near the end. I can't quite give it 4 stars, because I'm not sure I'll remember it in a week. It was just good, not memorable, not great. Just good.

I will, however, read Beck's book as his introduction was well executed. He came across as funny, sweet and genuinely nice guy. But... let's see about that.

OH MY HELL! This was one HOT as HELL read! STRIPPED BARE is my first Emma Hart book and MY GOD she started me off with a BANG! And if you couldn't tell by my opening line...this WILL NOT be my last read by Ms. Hart. She writes just the type of romance that I crave in a daily basis. HOT and HEAVY dialogue...amazing characters with scorching chemistry...erotic and filthy sex scenes...and witty banter throughout. Where in the hell has Ms. Hart been all my life?

"Mia," he murmured, this time against my ear. "Touch me, angel. I can see you want to."

Is it HOT in here or what?! Have you read the blurb? Have you seen the cover? MY GOD! I knew I was going to love it by the end of the very first chapter. And every chapter I devoured after that, solidified that fact!

A single lap dance leads to SO MUCH MORE...

West Rykman...gorgeous, wealthy, business owner, and male stripper.
Mia O'Halloran...beautiful, independent, fierce, marketing maven.

These two are quite the match! From the moment they laid eyes on each other, sparks flew and the chemistry was explosive. Mia is having a fun time in Vegas, celebrating her best friend's bachelorette party...the next thing you know she is getting a private lap dance from one fine male specimen as retribution for setting the bride-to-be up with her own lap dance. This insanely sexy dance leads into Mia propositioning the stripper to come back to her room!!! OMG! I'm getting giddy again just remembering the scene! Their one night stand was INCREDIBLY STEAMY and RIDICULOUSLY EROTIC! Days later she finds herself covering for her boss on a marketing campaign in Vegas. And who ends up being the client she needs to make happy? West FUCKING Rykman! Can you imagine? Let the teasing begin!

"You didn't mention your name," I gasped when he kissed his way down my neck. My hands moved to undo the buttons of his shirt, my back arching.

"West," he replied, the word a murmur against my skin. "Now you know what to scream when I fuck you."

OH NO HE DIDN'T! No matter how hard Mia tries...these two can't keep their hands off of each other. When business mixes with pleasure, all HELL breaks loose! Witty banter, sexy sarcasm, and intense chemistry, makes STRIPPED BARE by Emma Hart an absolute WINNER!

LAME. DNF.

The characters talk like teenagers. Not steamy AT ALL. The banter between Mia and her mother is ridiculous. I gave up at 22% when he carries her to her door "like a gentleman." Gag! No, thank you.

Bir anda karşıma çıktı. Dedim okuyayım bari 😂
Ayıp olmasın dedim, fena mı ettim😁

hard.deep.harsh.

Bol bol duyduğumuz kelimeler ve icraatler... Konusu ve kapağı malum. Smutu olmayan bölüm yoktu neredeyse. Her yer alev ateş 🔥🔥

Hot. Sexy. Enticing. Inviting. Explosive. Emma Hart comes back with a bang in a genre she is fluent in and leaves you wanting even after the last page is turned.

Its been a while since Hart released an Erotic Romance and Oh. My. God!! Stripped Bare is one hot as hell read with is equally hot to look at. I mean, LOOK. AT. THAT. COVER! *drools*

Emma has been called the "queen of opening lines" and she damn well is! She pulls you in from the very first line and her stories are always hot and engaging with the best of sexual tension and angst.

description You don’t come to me, angel. You give in. And you will give in, and when you do, you’ll scream my name so fucking loudly you’ll never doubt this attraction ever again.

Stripped Bare is incredibly steamy and characters are absolutely amazing with an amazingly intense chemistry. The heat level of this book... Phew!

description West Rykman was addictive; his very touch was an aphrodisiac. His kiss was a deadly drug, and I was afraid I was hooked on him.

West Rykman is a gorgeous, dirty talking, alpha male, business owner/ male stripper... YUP! He strips at his own club and the picture painted in head while reading about him coming on the stage and all those dance moves... Those images are never going to leave me. Ever! *fans myself*

Mia O'Halloran is an independent and fierce woman and a beauty with brains. One who may hold her own against West... Or not ;-)

West and Mia are on two completely different spectrum but they make quite the match. The perfect match! From the moment they met sparks were flying, buildings were being burned down and babies were being born... Too dramatic? Well that's how intense things were between these two!

Whenever I think about this book, I get all excited and grin like a loon or majorly swoon when remembering some of my favourite scenes! The sexual tension and the actual deed is RIDICULOUSLY STEAMY and EROTIC and I was fanning myself so much.

Their one night stand turned into something more! So much more!

description I wanted him. I did. I was human, after all. He was the kind of man who could get you pregnant just by walking in a room and meeting your eyes. Mary, Jesus, and Joseph, move on over. West Rykman was the new giver of immaculate conception.

What happens when you mix business with pleasure? All hell breaks loose! Witty banter, insane sexual chemistry and a healthy dose of the regular Emma Hart sarcasm and smart ass dialogues Stripped Bare was without a doubt a winner for me!

5 Stars!

Emma Hart is definitely one of my fav authors and I've adored the books I've read so far in her Burke Brothers series. There was a sample of this book included in the back of one of those books and it hooked me instantly, so when the opportunity arose to review an advance copy of this book I didn't need any convincing.

This little beauty suckered me in from the get-go and held my attention the entire way through. There is not a single thing I could fault or complain about. This book rocks. Snarky alpha-male? Check. Fiesty female lead who's sworn off men? Check. Scorching-hot sizzling sex? Check. Incredible, pee-your-pants, roar-out-loud witty banter? Check check check!

Character development is PHENOMENAL in this book with each character beautifully created and progressed. I loved her virginal BF and his partner-in-crime Beck. But West and Mia stole the show. I could relate to how both of them were feeling and the emotions were very real and credible. There aren't many surprises in the plot, but that's ok because this is a real character-driven story. Emma really has a knack for writing fantastic characters.

The writing was superb, the pacing was perfect, and the setting was intriguing. Seriously, I loved every minute of this read. I need more. Like right now. Even though you can read this as a standalone, it is left on a bit of a cliffhanger in relation to Beck. Can't wait to read his story.

Thank you, Emma, for a fab read. And thanks to Inkslinger PR for providing a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. This review will appear on my blog in June. http://myyanabookobsession.com
