This is a wooed me book! I loved it. I will definitely have to put this book on my list of buys!
Stephanie Perry Moore delivered a novel of suspense, mystery, romance, and how anyone can find the love of God. We can find love right under our very noses. Through it all, faith will prevail.
Sebastian Stokes stood for what was right, integrity, even if it cost him losing the love of his father; family; and as a running candidate for lieutenant governor. It also revealed the ugly and dirty side of politics, but there are a chosen few who still stands for what they believe in and GOD. He could have lost it all based on telling the truth to save the woman he loves.
The ending, almost left me in tears--love can also happen to those who lost all hope. Christian Ware realized all this time she was chasing after her own destiny instead of what God had for her, and to find true faith.
Yes I am giving this book 5 stars. I loved, loved it! It was truly a book that touched my heart — the love, struggles, sins and lust that can truly destroy you. This book really touched me. There was a passage that stuck with me "You just have to say, 'Lord, rain down Your spirit on me'. Get on your knees and talk to Him. Not because you want Him to change your circumstances, but because you need him to change you.
Christian truly was on a spiritual journey and she indeed had many struggles, but I was truly happy with the ending, because she over came all of the obstacles in her path and was able to marry the man that God had for her, Sebastian was truly God sent.
Before purchasing this novel I had only read YA novels written by Perry. I must admit I was just a bit sceptical when grabbing an adult fiction novel by her.: However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that she is just as powerful in this genre as well. Chasing Faith had a story line that was easy to follow, as well as a love story you just could not get enough of. I definitely will give Perry's other adult fiction novels a try.
Great book. I enjoyed it. This book has action, love, and spiritual struggle. This book is great for a person who wants to read about the spiritual struggle of a new believer.
Good book. At first I was really interested in this book. But the plot was very interesting and it was a good read even if there were things in the book I didn't agree with.
