Kyle Laughton loves his brother, his roommate Fred, and his glittery nail polish. When Fred disappears with a vague note, Kyle tracks him down and finds him safe in the arms of the Moon Creek pack. Kyle stays and starts to fall for the pack Beta, Angel Ross.
Angel's past comes to visit when his home pack tries to bring him back to Brazil to marry Yvonne, a member of his pack. Although he denies that he wants to leave, Kyle is afraid the promise of acceptance will separate him from Angel.
Will these two be able to navigate through arranged marriages, angry pack members, and their own doubts?
This was a great second-in-series! Kyle, who had stolen my heart in the first book, now has his sexy Brazilian mate Angel loving up on him. Kyle is outrageously funny in a very campy, sparkly way. He and Angel are an opposites attract arrangement since Angel is all smolderingly, sexy masculinity. There is a lot more heat in this book than the previous one including an infamous "tree sex" scene. Fred makes a few appearances to exchange banter and teasing with Kyle in a warm fuzzies way. Kyle has to decide if he wants this mating thing, if he's ready to change his life so drastically. Add to this one psycho possessive wolf who wants Angel back in Brazil and married to her, and there is, as Kyle complains, "drama". I think the introduction of Liam, Kyle's brother, sets up a great avenue for the next book. In any case, I can't wait to read more of the series.
