Dragon Seductions: An Alpha Paranormal Dragon Shifter Box Set Mandy M. Roth Michelle M. Pillow Chloe Cole

Action packed, steamy and laugh out loud funny, this boxset is a real bargain for any paranormal romance lover.
Mandy M. Roth and Michelle M. Pillow are both well known authors to me and I've been reading their books both as individuals and collaborations for well over a decade. Chloe Cole, on the other hand, is a relatively new author to me, although the books I have read by her were great. I've got all three books in this collection, as well as the collection, but for various reasons I've only read one of them. 'Tipping the Scales' (Stop Dragon My Heart Around) by Mandy Roth and I freely admit she's at the very top of my list of all time favourite paranormal romance authors. I've never been disappointed and I devour her books like the sweet treats they are.

I bought this a couple of years ago just before a kindle crash and for some reason, it got lost in the ether (also known as the 10,000+ ebooks in my library) so I haven't actually read it yet. But now I've remembered I've got it.....

A Dragon and A Slayer meet in a Nightclub... I absolutely love this book.
Long before Amazon introduced Kindle, I was reading ebooks on a Palm and over the last ten or twelve years, I've read very nearly every book written by Mandy Roth, and anything I haven't actually read yet is waiting for me on my kindle. I absolutely love her books, she never disappoints, always makes me laugh and she's one of my all time favourite paranormal romance authors. I originally bought this one in May 2012. Since then I've read it at least three times. Make that four or six - actually I've lost count. I just really love this book and keep going back to it over and over again.
It begins with the nearly 600 year old dragon shifter Zarek of the Dracodomus, an arrogant, 'I love me who do you love?' type character having a pity party because, unless he finds his 'one' before his 600th birthday in a few months time, he will become impotent. He's not really interested in being tied to the same woman for eternity, but his race is dying out and mother nature has decided that frightening the males into mating is the only way to get them to give up their bachelorhood. Between a desire to remain unmated and the hunting of his race to near extinction by the slayers of old, primarily the Brandt family, who forgot they were supposed to be hunting evil and just went with hunting everything supernatural, there are very few of the Dracodomus left and neither his twin brother nor their remaining cousins have found their 'one' yet. But then you need to actually look for something if you hope to find it. Like looking for a needle in a haystack? Ah, well....
Out hunting a woman to have sex with, Zarek hits his favourite club (the proverbial haystack) and sees a woman that draws him like no other (the proverbial needle). Not really his type, and immune to his saliva secreted aphrodisiac, she is, he fears, his 'one'.
Keren has been dragged out clubbing by her daytime workmates and seems to be attracting all the wrong sorts tonight. Especially the big arrogant one whose kiss made her feel positively sick and got a punch in the face for his trouble. Keren decided it was time to leave, especially since she became aware of the vile demon preying on women on the dance-floor. She needs to get rid of it, now! Zarek follows her when she leaves, now fully aware that she's his 'one', his true mate, the woman he is destined to spend eternity with.
Oh, did I forget to mention.... Keren's surname.... is Brandt and her night-time job? Demon Slayer. No more spoilers, you need to read it for yourself.
The sparks really fly in this fight filled, action packed, steamy and laugh out loud funny love story. I love this book more every time I read it and I especially like the feisty Keren. Like all Mandy's books, it's packed so full of information that you don't feel like you've missed anything, even though, when I bought it, it was book two of the Stop Dragon My Heart Around set with book one being written by Michelle M Pillow and is just as good, but both are written to be stand alone stories and I read this one first. I've never finished a Mandy Roth book feeling like there should be more, but I want it anyway. There are no cliffhangers here, you always get the happily ever after and I especially like that the Epilogue is set about 8 years into the future, not tomorrow or next week.
I only give 5 stars to the books I'd rescue if the house was burning down, and this short story is well worth a lot more than that. I'll undoubtedly be reading it again.... and very soon. If you like a good action packed paranormal romance then you'll love this one, it has everything you could possibly want including hot steamy bits, demons, vampires, dragons, it's laugh out loud funny and comes complete with a terrific happily ever after.

This bundle was a very enjoyable read. I have two of my favourite authors Mandy Roth and Michelle Pillow plus an added bonus of Chloe Cole who I have not read before but will definitely be looking at more of her books. Highly recommend this anthology it has danger, romance, protective males and strong females with a bit of humour thrown in.

Barbarian Prince - Michelle Pillow
Morrigan Blake is a reporter who joins the Galaxy Brides corporation in order to get the scoop on a royal wedding. She gets some fab perks along, enhancements to make her a better bride. However the downloads she gets are a bit vague and downright shoddy in parts. But no worries, she's not going to actually get married...right???
When Ualan sees Morrigan, the crystal around his neck glows which means she is his mate. After the claiming ceremony Morrigan tells Ualan that she has no intention of staying with him. When she is told that they are now married by the plants own law, she kind if goes into meltdown and declares herself a slave. Little knowing that as she is the one who indentures herself, she is the only one can break it. Ualan has to treat her as such until Morrigan asks the king and queen, his parents to pardon her and remove her slave status.
There follows a farcical rampage of disasters, least of which is Morrigans total lack of skills in the slave dept!!! She doesn't even know how to clean up the mess she makes trying to get one over on Ualan.
This story had a lot of sexual tension and humour. I did find it incredibly hard to like Morrigan. She is quite self centred and does things to spite herself. I'm not exactly a domestic goddess myself but even I know how to do the basic tasks Ualan sets her. Yesthings were kept from her and Ualans own traditions mean there are misconceptions, misundertandings and miscommunications but these could have been resolved if Morrigan wasn't quite so...Morrigan!!!!!!

Keren is a demon slayer by night, office worker by day. She is very capable of taking care of herself. When they meet in a bar she plants a punch to Zarek, believing he had pinched her bum hard. Zarek later wonders who this human is because she is not falling to her knees like he expected!!!!
This book is short (only 6 chapters) but it is chock packed of funny scenes and hotness of the bedroom variety.
I've read a lot of Ms Roths books and the characters in each series are all quite fresh and none are the jaded, boring old shifter. They all have a killer sense of humour (intentionally or not) and I love it when her heroines don't instantly fall at the hero's feet and make him work hard!!!
Will leave you panting for more!!!!!

This was a great series. I loved every single one--cliff hangers and all. Her you have the complete story, no waiting to find out what happens. Willa, wolf shifter, has been through a lot already, one lost fiance, break up of her pack and now moving. Little did she know that the move was into a mating with a dragon shifter.
Bitter and defiant she does what Drake least expected, captures his interest. She wants to escape he wants to change her mind and keep her safe from dangers she is unaware.
When she begins to come around they're beginning trust is shaken. Will events keep them apart or will the feelings they share overcome all the outside forces against them. You won't want to put this one down. Enjoy. I did.

They import human brides to help repopulate their race (dragon shifters). However the women don't know about the shifters or many of the restrictive traditions they will have to comply with. Then there is Rigan. She has no intentions of accepting a husband. She's undercover to get the story on the transgressions of the company providing the brides.
Oops. Wedding ceremony night she is chosen by a hunky man in a mask (all the men are masked). With the help of some local wine she goes with her man. Lets just say it is not your traditional wedding night.
Their battles between desires and obligations are long and they give in to their needs, but not with the joining of minds necessary for their relationship. The queen mother is the voice of reason and helps in the way everyone would like their mother-in-law to be.
The beginning of a great series each book can be read alone.

I have to thank Ms Roth for introducing me to Dragon shifters. This was my first dragon shifter book, but not my last! This was one of the first books I read of Ms Roth's. I loved the humor and witty characters. Think about being sexually active--very active--for 200 years then knowing if you don't fine THE ONE you will be active no more! Puts pressure on a guy. Then determine THE ONE is hot enough to scorch a dragon (pun intended) but she wants to kill you and all of your kind. OOPs. Their tango is a delight. Short read and well worth the time.

This is the first in an exceptional series, a must read if you like paranormal romance with some steam. Quilixen is a planet of mostly males in need of wives to continue their lines. These guys are dragon shifters (the Draig), very alpha warrior types and way too hot for their own good. They also tend to be stubborn and clueless how to deal with the women they procure from a corporation that provides, for lack of a better term, a matchmaker service. Unfortunately, the brides they send have no idea what they are truly getting into! Morrigan (Rigan) Blake is an intergalactic reporter hell bent on getting the story about the rumored princes attending the festival to choose brides. Of course, she accidentally (through sheer ignorance of the customs) marries Ualan and of course, he is one of the princes. Being pretty pig headed herself she does not respond well to his domineering ways. It looks like the marriage is doomed and there is no way out of it, but after two poisonings, a few skirmishes with the Draig’s enemy the Var (cat shifters), and some helpful advice from the Queen (good old Mom ) Ualan and Rigan open themselves to the bond between them and fall in love. Highly recommend this and the rest of the series!

Novel length with dimensional characters, Coercion had a decent story and an even balance of humor, lust, stubbornness, and hijinks..enough to keep me vastly entertained! I really enjoyed Willa and Drake's story-it's full of miscommunications with a healthy heaping of arrogance, temperamental shifters, and hoarding dragons. What's not to like there?!

I really wanted to throat punch Morrigan for her aggravating independence and subsequent stupidity. And Ualan..well he had his moments too, just not as bad as Morrigan! I typically enjoy Pillow's stories but wasn't feeling this one for some reason. I never connected with either character and while I'm all for a strong female lead this one...ugh...she was just so annoying! At times the story dragged on and was quite busy with multiple characters popping in and out enough to be a little confusing. Even though it's a full length book, I found myself skimming until the story picked up speed and got interesting enough to end on an okay note.

Even though Zarek and Keren's story was the shortest in the bunch, Roth's contribution had action, sweetness, and a family feud wrapped up in a sexy little package -all 7 chapters and a perfect epilogue-but full of charm and wit. This was my second favorite story in this box set.

Novel length with dimensional characters, Coercion had a decent story and an even balance of humor, lust, stubbornness, and hijinks..enough to keep me vastly entertained! I really enjoyed Willa and Drake's story-it's full of miscommunications with a healthy heaping of arrogance, temperamental shifters, and hoarding dragons. What's not to like there?!

I really wanted to throat punch Morrigan for her aggravating independence and subsequent stupidity. And Ualan..well he had his moments too, just not as bad as Morrigan! I typically enjoy Pillow's stories but wasn't feeling this one for some reason. I never connected with either character and while I'm all for a strong female lead this one...ugh...she was just so annoying! At times the story dragged on and was quite busy with multiple characters popping in and out enough to be a little confusing. Even though it's a full length book, I found myself skimming until the story picked up speed and got interesting enough to end on an okay note.

This is one powerful set of books by three awesome authors.

Powerful with lots of emotion
This well written book has every emotion you can think of in it. There is hate, love, friendship, betrayal, family, true Mates and so much more. I found myself having shed a few tears while reading this story. You have a female wolf shifter that has her world turned upside down. All her life she was promised to mate the future Alpha to her pack only for him to fall in love and mate someone else. Even though she is happy for her best friend, the fact that him taking another as a mate changed all she knew to be her life. Then he parents betray her by pairing her up without her knowledge to another and he happens to be a dragon shifter. Awesome story.

But like him she has secrets and is the most unlikely candidate for his mate. Trouble comes in the way of demons and true colors show. Well written and extremely enjoyable to read. Self-contained story that you can’t put down.

I wish I could give this a 6+ stars . I loved the story if you like shifter story with a alpha male and a kick ass woman that has action and hI'm or then this is the story for you. I couldn't put it down and what a beautiful ending! I hope miss roth writes more on this storyline because it's wonderful

Wow talk about couple not being on the same page! Lol I thought I was funny. The fighting, messing the house and claiming a slave just to get out or marriage only to have it bad fire sooooo badly lol. Great book I can't wait to read the rest.

This was interesting twist about mail order brides. This is mostly a sci-fi with a dash of mystery and action and a hint of romance..needs a dose more romance of my taste! However I still enjoyed it! :)

Zarek and Keren meet at a club. Zarek tried to step in to help Keren with a guy who was getting too bold but he didn't know Keren could hand herself even though he wasn't human.

all 3 books are from a few of my favorite authors , Chloe Coles dragon and his wolf mate will make anyone want one of their own. Michelle Pillows book was great to read with a dragon prince and his not so compliant mate who was just looking for a story., but my favorite was Mandy Roths Tipping the scales, a dragon and his slayer mate who is injured protecting her and then one dream leads to their being married and protecting their lives

Excellent!
An excellent read, I really enjoyed the differences in each authors writing and story telling. Each one with unique and engaging characters! I would recommend this to anyone that loves a great read!

Steamy fun
This was a heck of a ride. I really had fun reading this, the authors are exceptional and I am sure to look for the other books in the series here... well those that I haven't already read lol!

Darn good read
Humor a little action, romance and a female lead. Nice to see a female receive lead credit and brains to boot.

This is a great set. Each author did a fantastic job. I so enjoyed each story and with the different authors you has such diversity. Highly recommend this set.
