Kiss me in Carolina is the second book in the Hunt Family Series. It is a sweet natured, contemporary romantic drama, centered on the Hunt family.
Some of the characters from the first book carry over into this one. It focuses mainly on Logan Ritchie, an A-list movie star in Los Angeles. He had met a girl, London Ryder, the previous summer at his family's beach house in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Her rich father arranges a trip for London to fly to L.A., asking an old high school friend, Rachel Stephens, if she could stay with her. Rachel's parents are missionaries and highly depend on the donations they receive from London's father. A chance meeting at movie set changes the life of Rachel Stephens forever.
Rachel is true to herself above all else and stipulates a condition before even communicating with the young man she met any further. He was persistent, but she held to her guns and avoided contact. Almost a year later they meet again.
In a week's time, this young girl experienced joy, kidnapping, and indescribable elation. Here is your new life Rachel Stephens! Who would have ever thunk one week could change a life so drastically?
Although this is a series, it is able to stand alone. If you plan to read the series, I would recommend that you start at the beginning to ensure you are exposed to as many details as possible about this huge family. There are a minimal number of spelling/grammar errors, but nothing that distracts from the captivating, clean, and wholesome read. Thankfully, it did conclude with a H.E.A.
