A good book for complete beginners. It contains the material needed to sit the Grade 1 and Grade 2 exams. The latest edition, 2020, is written in the Standard Written Form, SWF. To get the best out of it the learner needs to use other books, for example, A Learner's Cornish Dictionary in the Standard Written Form, second edition 2019 by Steve Harris (a word dictionary) and Verbow Kernow, Cornish Verbs, second edition 2022, using SWF, by Tony Hak (a verb dictionary). I would suggest that a learner get all three books and use them together. It is impossible to put a language, any language, into a small book like Bora Brav, even a book aimed at beginners. That is why all three books mentioned above, when used together, will form one excellent resource that will provide a solid foundation for learning Cornish. Add a class, in person or online or both, sprinkle a Koffi ha Kows or a Yeth an Werin (sessions for speaking Cornish) into the mix, and let the magic begin.
