Another mind-blowing kiss chased his deep laugh and I wanted to forget about the mission completely. I wanted to give up on Matthias Allen and the Colony and the entire Zombie Apocalypse and just kiss this man for the rest of my life.

The Parker's and their entourage have finally made it all the way to the US of A and found Luke. Now that they have united and made introductions, trust will be the next step both parties will have to overcome and agree upon. Because right now, neither have it for the other. And Page will have to prove herself to Luke and his crew. Over time, he has pegged her as a pampered princess. Only she is about to show him just how wrong he is.

I am a horrible L&D fan. It took me forever to read this book. I kept falling asleep as soon as I started it. But not by any fault of its own. Oh heck no. This book was amazing. Absolutely amazing. It’s just that I have a very active (and walking) 1 yr old I am chasing after all day long. So it is taking me a lot longer now days to read a book. I'm pathetic. But once I really started and dug in there was no stopping me. I devoured this book with wonder and intrigue. What the heck is Page setting herself up for? This cannot end well for at least one person. I just hope it’s not who I think it is. Got you wondering? Better get on it then.

Right along with the Parker's, I didn't trust Luke. I wanted to. I needed to. But it just wasn’t there. This is not the same young boy we used to know. Time and death has changed him and hardened him. I want to believe that as this series progresses we will be able to gain some trust for him and his crew. It is just going to take some time.

Action, romance, and intrigue. 5 Stars!!

This is episode seven in the Revolution season of Love and Decay!! We start right where we left off at the end of episode six.

Page is having many mixed emotions about seeing Luke again after ten years. They were close as kids but time can definitely change someone. Page is someone much different than she was before. She has high expectations of when she sees Luke again, but will she get the reunion she is expecting or will she get a different kind of reunion…one she isn’t expecting at all?

His breath pushed against the hair at my nape. “It’s good to see you again, friend.”

Emotion finally surfaced, past the shock, beyond the speechless awe. “You too. It’s good to see you again, too.”

Of course it wouldn’t be a love and decay episode without some Feeder action. Page always seems to find herself in the most danger no matter what…this time was no different. This time had my heart pounding anxiously waiting to see if she’d win or if the feeder would…

“Page, no more,” Miller growled against my cheek. “I can’t take any more of those. You’ve got to stop.”

Luke and Page’s minds work in very different ways…ill be very curious to see if this makes them butt heads or if it is an advantage! With the turn of events at the end of this episode things are about to get very interesting!

This series just keeps getting better and better!! I’m very excited to see what Rachel has planned next! How will Luke being back affect Miller and Pages relationship? What is their next step in defeating Matthias? Will everyone survive when the time comes?!

Can’t wait until I can dive into episode eight which is releasing April 8th!

After reading Love and Decay: Revolution, Episode Six, I got on a bit of a soapbox about how the series was feeling a bit redundant for me (although I easily admitted that I seemed to be the only reader feeling that way) and had lost the magic that used to appeal so much to me. Let me tell you... Reading Episode Seven was like a breath of fresh air! (Errr.. Or maybe a breath of fresh air riddled with zombies in various states of decay and human beings in various states of poor hygiene.) The bottom line is that this episode broke the mold and provided a much needed new conflict in Page's post-apocalyptic world, as well as some new intriguing characters and old characters who have changed and been hardened by the life they have lived.

That's right guys... We're finally being set up for the love triangle showdown I've been waiting on for far too long: Page, Miller, and Luke. I think it's going to be even better than I anticipated back when they were three innocent kids and I'm super excited about it.

Oh yeah, and the gang is getting that much closer to taking on their arch nemesis and the biggest tyrant in America... There's that too.

Okay, Rachel. You have my attention.

Page and the Resistance

This series continues to be the best continuing zombie apocalypse romance out there. Yes, zombies, yes it's the apocalypse and the Parkers have returned to the USA to bring down Mathias Allen who has run the Colony for the ten years since the Parkers have been in South America.
And yes Page is romantically involved with Miller. But she has met up with her old friend Luke who runs the Resistance. And they both discover they have changed radically and are not children anymore.
Can't wait for the next one!

Love and Decay is one of my favorite novella series! Rachel had to convince me to try it, promising me the whole time that I would love it, and boy do I ever!

Episode 7 gets us right into the action; up close and personal with the loathing and pure hatred that Page has for Matthias and his evil ways. She shows grit, intelligence, and all out sacrifice! Luke is back, and I am not sure I truly like it. But, he is an integral part of the reason Page was determined to return. I can't wait to see where Rachel takes us next!

They made it!!! Woohoo and now the crazy fun will begin. Things are still heated as the group is in enemy territory and trying to feel out Luke once they meet up. And poor Luke is doing the same thing with his the large crazy bunch of Parkers and friends that just popped into his world. This episode has them teaming up and working together, but are they really for the same goals???

I soooo couldn't put this episode down & did NOT want it to end! What a page turner! They made it back to the US! WHOOT WHOOT!! I can't wait to see what kind of drama turns up now that Luke is back in the picture, will Miller push Page away with jealousy? Of course Page is still a total bad-ass in this episode and I LOVE IT! Now I'm DYING to know if they can avoid Mathias and his men...

Another Classic Paige Parker Episode

Great addition to the series in this very quick paced episode Paige does exactly what any Parker would do, but with a little more young and fearlessness. Cannot wait for more!
