I enjoyed this book. It is obviously a bit dated compared with todays standards but the Christian message and values are still valid. I was a little disappointed with the ending. I would have liked a couple more chapters to round it all off. But all in all a good read.
Have just re-read this book, and I enjoyed it more the second time around.
Have enjoyed this book for many years - all the yummy food is a huge bonus but the storyline depicts the heart of the Christian message in a very clever way. I thoroughly recommend this. Count yourself lucky if you can get your hands on a copy
I read this book for the first time as a school girl. I loved it with all my heart. I want to review it now as a professional reviewer, if I can get a scanned copy of the hardback.
