My, my, I truly enjoyed this book, it is cute, funny an short. It is a great fast read, the plot was nothing that I'd read before, it's genuinely a fresh story. Don't get me going with the characters, Claire is a twenty-three-year old virgin, that goes on vacation with her best friend Jess to a nudist resort in an exotic island. Claire is a awkward, funny, introvert girl, unlike Jess which is an outgoing person. The moment you meet Mason, it's like a complete swoon worthy moment, he is Australian (that accent), a complete gentleman and hot as hell. I really recommend this book if you like a funny romance short story.

It’s all here in Sexy Bits. I wasn’t sure what to expect in this new adult romance genre, but I was pleasantly surprised. The writing is on point to be sure with a solid story arc in a short easy read. Take it on a vacation if you can or on the beach. Here’s a quick sample: “The silence is comfortable but heart-breaking all at once. I feel the burn of tears, but I sway myself to not let them fall.”
We see this story in the here and now through Claire, the 23-year old well-flawed protagonist’s eyes, and we feel her confusion and frustration. The operative words here are tension and suspense. We are wound up with Claire more and more as we turn the pages and we are brought to a fever pitch in the outcome (suspense).
The settings are brilliant and breathtaking in their imagery, another testament to the writing. One setting/scene comes to mind toward the end of the film … I mean book (that’s how visual the descriptions are) where Claire and Mason are on a boat and there are whales and dolphins and love and … you get the picture. Another strong word that comes to mind is foreplay. If you like foreplay, you love Sexy Bits.

This was just not the story for me. I had a hard time getting into it. The heroine Claire was a bit annoying she sounded like a prude and she seemed to over dramatize things. There were some parts in the story I liked. I listened to the audio book.

My Review:
I been reading about crazy places and lifestyles since 50 shades of Grey but Desire by Design was a wild ride for me and I’m still wondering if there’s a place this in real life. Okay, let me tell you about S&M, bondage, romantic exploration, really hot host to do with them AS YOU WANT and oh almost forget the ultimate rule here is that you aren’t allow to wear clothes AT ALL. Think about that and add to that equation a 23 year old virgin.
Yep, pretty crazy right idk if I’ll go nuts if my bff took me to a place like that or if I’ll go wild at all. It all seems so bizarre but let’s face it life this days is so weird. Let me explain Claire (the virgin) wasn’t saving her v-card until marriage it was just that the right boy haven’t arrive yet, all the boys she had dated were arseholes. But then her wild and carefree best friend Jess got her into this naked paradise.
At the beginning Claire was so worry about the nude thing but at some point she realize she had paid A LOT of money for this trip and that this was almost her last vacations so she accept it but then Mason happen her host.
The host was there to take care of her lady/boy and please them as they want, Claire got a romantic package while Jess got herself a bondage one and went straight to her room with Kyle.
As Claire I really though the hostess were like prostitutes but them the rules say that just if they both wanted to have sex they would. And obviously was the hot guy that really know how to please a woman and he was so damn hot.
I really enjoy the story it was fast-paced, funny, full of new things and not even 100 to go to so it was really worked. I never expected Mason to be that important and how at the very beginning he was so into her.
Overall, you going to get wrapped around this whole destination and how things work around the hotel. Every situations has a something and new adventure for Claire and her v-card.

Sexy Bits was a whimsical read that had me giggling like a school girl. I'm so jealous that I didn't think of this story line first! Wild did an amazing job of keeping it light-hearted but yet sexy all at the same time...

This is probably my favorite writing experience to date. Writing this new adult romance was definitely an eye opener, and this first attempt at first person point of view took much longer than expected. I could have written three more books in the time it took to edit this one...so many drafts. Even though I pissed my editor off, repeatedly, I finally finished and absolutely love the result.
I adored the process. There is nothing better than a writing challenge.

When I saw Ravenna Young had written about a 23 year old virgin who gets hood winked by her bestie into going to an adult themed nudist resort, I knew I had to read it. I was not disappointed.
From the very first paragraph I smiled. And continued to smile as I fell in love with Mason, wished Jess was my best friend and wondered if these sort of resorts really exist! While this book has a definite light-hearted side, it also had me wrapped up in Claire’s dilemma. It’s an intriguing read of will she, won’t she and who with, with some sensual scenes along the way.

So, I have read Ravenna Young PI book and decided to give it a try with a book under her other name and boy, I didn't expect what I read. A great book with an interesting twist. You might expect from the title and the premise that this would be an erotic novel, and it does give a nod in that direction, but this turned out to be an innocent love story wrapped in erotic clothing.
Make no mistake. This is a sensual and explicit novel with mentions of more risqué activities, but the main story focuses on a woman’s sexual and emotional awakening as she meets the love of her life in the guise of a paid companion. Even the sensual moments are an odd mix of erotic and euphemistic language, but it works. Claire is a virgin when she begins the story and a woman in love when she leaves. Even her sexually adventurous best friend Jess makes a permanent connection despite being in it for the fun.
Claire even mentions it as a reverse Pretty Woman story at one point, except there’s more going on than she thinks, and without spoiling anything, the “more” firmly settles this story on the romance side. Because of the backdrop, this book is for mature audiences, but it’s more on the lines of an edgy contemporary romance as far as most of the content is concerned.
There were some writing issues, especially with commas and adverbs, that were frequent enough to distract me, but overall it was a good read with moments of humor and passion that made for a fun time. The tone of the book fits with the other New Adults I’ve read, a close, self-examining first person with moments of doubt.
The book also touches on the dangers of drinking and hanging with guys you just met, an odd note in the middle of a sex resort, but one I appreciated for its recognition of the need for both partners to be fully consenting. No, this wasn’t with Mason, the male lead, nor did it go all the way to rape, but it was definitely intense.
On the topic of consent, though, I do have a quibble with the premise. No one should be put in a position where they are committed to a vacation that makes them uncomfortable, especially one sexual in nature that requires signing a release, which Claire didn’t have a chance to read. Though Jess offers to cancel, it comes too late, and after they’ve spent all their money, to be a real option. The resort does turn out to be less over the top than originally described (even the nudity is optional), but it makes the above reminder even more important.
When it comes down to it, the premise made me curious because of its contradictions, and the story, while not perfect, offered a fun read with just the right amount of naivety and seriousness to make Sexy Bits into a moving tale.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well adult romance getaway book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great Romantic getaway movie, or a mini TV series. It was just OK for me so I will rate it at 4/5 stars.

This book started on shaky grounds for me. I had a hard time getting a read on Claire's character and her true feelings on her situation. But by the mid-way point, I got a little more comfortable with Claire as a character and started to enjoy it.
There isn't a whole lot to this plot besides the obvious. Claire (the lead) arrives, freaks out and then promptly makes the best of an odd situation. It's pretty straight-forward with some minor surprises along the way.
This novella has more heat packed into than your average contemporary read but it isn't full blown erotica either. It's definitely more open about the sex than other novels as well.
The romance is pretty basic but enjoyable.
This started shaky for me, but once I got comfortable with it, I enjoyed it. I think the whole sex resort aspect though might be awkward for some readers.

Claire and Jess book a vacation at Vacation Desire by Design but unbeknownst to Claire, this is a nudist colony resort and she's a virgin...Jess is the quintessential party girl and Claire is introvert, what will she do there??? However, when she meets their host Mason, everything changes for Claire. Does he liker her, or is this only a job for him? These are the questions she keeps asking herself. This is a fun short summer read.

This is the most hilarious unexpected book I have read in a long time. I absolutely loved this book. It is so well written that you can feel every bit of emotion pouring off of the page. And the sexual tension OMG! You must read this book. It is truly a true love story.

It is an entertaining and enjoyable story, there is a nice balance of humor and heartfelt romance. The original storylines are interesting and held my attention from start to end. I really liked these characters, Claire and Jess, best friends, Jess books the vacation of a lifetime for them to enjoy before opening their business. That vacation turns out to be an all inclusive “nudist” resort that caters to specific needs. Jess, knowing Claire is still a virgin, books her the romance package, she booked her self a kinkier one. A bit out of Claire comfort zone but she goes with it, then finds out the all inclusive includes a self assigned guide, a guide to her pleasure. Her guide is an Australian accented gorgeous hunk named Mason. I liked these two together, they just clicked and the chemistry between them was through the roof. Mason was so good to her, he was patient with her and did not take advantage of her. I loved how it all played out, from the funny arrival to the resort, boots and all to the sweet ending. Perfect amount of drama, humor, sweet moments, some angsty ones, some sweet romance, some hot steamy romance, also loved the twist of who he was. Thank you Remi Wild, Ravenna Young for another great story, it is nice to see another side of your creative mind.
I listened to the Audible edition, Bridget Bordeaux is a terrific narrator and voice performer. He brings these characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality making it easy to follow which character is speaking. She gave Mason a nice accent. What happens when your best friend takes you on a beach vacation, only its a fetish beach club? Claire finds herself in this situation, with her butler Mason the eye of her attraction. As a 23 year old virgin, she is going to take her best friends advice and get out of her comfort zone, finding the one to do the deed. But will she find that special someone outside of her off limits butler? This original plot has all the elements of a fun loving listen, Remi Wild adds moments of complete hilarity, frustration and passion. There are unexpected twists and she writes with such imagery that you can feel,the breeze on the beach and the warmth of the sun. I enjoyed this escape and the outcome of their story.
Bridget Bordeaux does a great job with the narration. I have seen her grow as a narrator and enjoy her portrayal of innocent Claire and outgoing Jess. She easily transitions between male and female voices and enhances the story with her performance.
Bridget Bordeaux does a great job with the narration. I have seen her grow as a narrator and enjoy her portrayal of innocent Claire and outgoing Jess. She easily transitions between male and female voices and enhances the story with her performance.

Imagine that your best friend gifts you a dream vacation, only it is not your dream. This is what happens to Claire. Jess encourages Claire to get out of her comfort zone and sends her on a vacation where everyone is nude. Claire has eyes for her butler, but to make advances would be out of her comfort zone. Claire's struggles with the comfort zone is so real. I related easily to her. I liked the level headed Claire, and I also liked when she stepped out of that zone. This story had me hooked from its beginning and I could not put it down. Remi Wild is fast becoming a favorite author to me.

Not XXXX porn but definitely an adults only read, although one that would not upset any reader who read the blurb before starting. In my opinion, the writing was fine and I found no continuity problems or grammar/spelling type errors. The premise of the story was too far fetched. A 23 year old virgin? I guess they exist but I found it hard to understand how a 23 year old virgin, who has never even experienced an orgasm (!) would end up in the situation described in this tale. I have daydreamed of nudist clubs but could not imagine virile men keeping their 'sexy bits' under control. I'd need to keep my junk confined, somehow! That doesn't seem to be a problem. The ending was obvious but nicely delayed. The "fake" booking for the cat was a little too obvious.

I jumped in a hammock with a cold margarita on a hot summer afternoon & devoured this contemporary NA novel, "Sexy Bits". The book was a fun & fast summer read.
However, the story was full of repetition about what everyone looked like, what they were wearing or not wearing (it takes place at a nudist resort) and the fact that Claire was a 23-year-old virgin and her bestie, Jess was an experienced shagging queen. You could easily see where the story was headed with the two handsome hosts, which was still entertaining right until the very end. Overall, the story was about two best friends going on a memorable vacation together, enjoying romance with a dash of erotic spice. I smiled quite a few times.
I liked the book and would easily read another one by Remi Wild & Ravenna Young. :)

A highly entertaining and fun read, Sexy Bits engages you right from the start as your curiosity peaks as Claire and Jess embark on their daring adventure, and are exposed in more ways than one! Through humor, drama and romance this story unfolds and although it does have a dash of sexy... the sweeter, gentler moments are what shine and lend to the chemistry between Claire and Mason. The plot was very creative, and I loved discovering the true nature of Mason.
Listened on audio: This was my first listen by narrator Bridget Bordeaux and was amazed by her talent and range of voices. Oh my, I don’t think she could have made Mason any sexier with that Australian accent… totally had me swooning! It was a very enjoyable listening experience.

This story is a sexy short one, but just enough to make it a good listen or read! Claire's bff Jess, who is funny crazy booked them on a hedonistic all nude vacation!! Since, once they return they will be working together at their brand new business venture.
Claire is shy and self conscious, while Jess is the total opposite. When they get to the resort they are each given a bag and personal host for the entire stay. Claire's host is gorgeous Mason, an Australian. I almost swooned at how good the narrator voiced his character!

So many questionable things in this... that it made it hard to enjoy. The total lack of meet-cute. She falls for the "host" -- with the cliche that the first person she sleeps with she falls for is soooo overdone.
I hated the synopsis which gives too much away and shames women for being virgins at 23.
I could not buy into this hedonist resort, her freak out or her BFF's disregard for her friend's feelings.

A virgin on an anything goes nude fantasy island! I liked the romance package of this story but was not crazy about the crappy men on the island trying to take whatever they want. The best friend was wild and I would love to listen to her story as well. Fantastic ending ;) I received this audiobook by my request in exchange for an honest review from Audiobook Boom.

I thought this was a funny book and the concept made me laugh. I thought the voices was great for both females and the Australia voices for the males. I loved the ending as I always like happy ending but I missed there being what happened in future. On the performance the gap between chapters was too long and I kept having to check it hadn’t stopped working.
