Rate this book
With only several hundred residents, Hoonah, Alaska should be one of the quietest places on earth.

But between the part-timers who want to "clean up the place" to the indigenous people who've lived on this remote southeastern Alaska island for centuries, Sheriff Mike Romanoff never sees an easy day.

A swift and powerful tale of love, loss, and the lingering memories that haunt us all, "Arrows" is the first story in the upcoming romantic suspense series set in southeastern Alaska.

Quality writing from a quality author. I've read everything Giorello has written, and this short tale was a departure in that it featured a brand new character, sheriff Mike Romanoff on an Alaskan island. Great introduction to this setting and lead, but it did feel incomplete, like it was the first chapter of a much longer piece. I'll definitely be reading more when a full length novel comes out.

I think this was just a chapter. Not sure? I love the writer but I didn't love reading a tiny portion of a story.
