I really enjoyed the artwork and stills from the film, and it was interesting to read about how Walt operated as a leader and brought the best out from his studio. The perspectives of the many artists were cool to learn about, but I thought some of the sections were underdeveloped. This presents itself as the ultimate source of knowledge on Fantasia, but it's not fully fleshed out. Still a great introduction to the production of the film.

Any Disney fanatic, like me, will love this book! I loved the movie as a kid, and the beautiful, colorful illustrations and original sketch designs were almost lifelike! I also enjoyed reading about the history behind Disney’s brilliant design and animation. I felt like I was getting a behind-the-scenes VIP tour. This oversized book will also make a great coffee table book!

The text is over-written and scatterbrained, which isn't uncommon in books of concept art, but...why is the art tiny? The book fills its promisingly large pages with text and indecipherably small images! Unforgivable.

Rijkelijk geïllustreerd boek over Fantasia (1940), Disney's meest ambitieuze film ooit.
