She manages to find someone who can make insulin the old-fashioned way, but she still has to get it to him before it's too late. That means leaving the safety of her hidden farm and travelling hundreds of miles to get there, without getting killed along the way. Meanwhile, her daughter is forced to contend with one disaster after another.

Ground Zero
Book 2 was better but geez I am just not into politically correctness. But here I am reading Ms. Strickland's book 2.
Mac is still Wonder Woman. Mac (Neil) is still accommodating. Cam is coming into her own. Ex-hudbands/boyfriends are coming out of the woodwork.
Book 3 will be coming out soon. Is it worth reading? Oh yeah. Ms. Strickland may be a a little too liberal for my taste but her books are entertaining.

Excellent read
I really enjoyed reading this book. Can't wait for number 3. The interaction of the characters are nicely fleshed out.

Awesome
The storyline is excellent. The characters hold great personality. You will love some but hate others. They are so real you will think you know them.
