When I agreed to sit in on my sister’s class to keep her from failing, I never expected him to walk through the door. Professor Rafian Castelli is stunning and all I can think about is how much I want to get my hands on him. Our one-time rendezvous is supposed to be just that--a quick, fiery romp with no strings attached. We part knowing we’ll never see each other again.
There’s just one little problem…
He’s not human.
I’m pregnant with his child.
And if he can’t keep me safe, I might lose everything.
The Seraphim are here.
This 48,000-word novel contains adult language and graphic sexual situations, male pregnancy, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed HEA.
4.5 stars rounded up to 5. I have to say this wasn't bad, I enjoyed them both together and it had me worrying what was going to happen all the way to the end. I'm never sure when I'm reading a new author to me. Sometimes I can be a little scared but I have to say I enjoyed this one.
I enjoyed this M/M and male pregnancy paranormal romance.
Elijah has agreed to sit in his sister's college classroom. Because she needs to be log in by typing in a remote code that she is presented for that class. As soon as class is over the he tries to leave without being noticed. Professor Rafian Castelli is not your normal type of human. He is very stunning and different.
After being noticed the Professor takes Elijah to his office to talk to him. But things go steamy really quick and somethings happens that change Elijah life.
All the characters where fun to get to know some of them had me laughing at what they did. At the end of the book the author surprised me with the ending of the story.
I got this story through KU. This is my honest unbiased opinion.
The author won me over. I read this through KU. At first, I almost quit reading this book because the grammar and spelling in the first few chapters was atrocious. However, the characters were likeable and the plot moved in a direction that surprised me, so I stuck with it. After a point the grammar problems disappeared (or I got so into the book I no longer noticed them). There was still occasional misspellings but the reading experience greatly improved. The story grew in complexity and creativity and ultimately to a sweet HEA. I am really glad I stuck with this book. 4 stars.
This book is good. Even though it's short, I can grasp each characters and the world the author creates. Hope there's spin-off or side story for this 'world'.
The reason it misses one star is because of the ending... I don't mind the ending if there's a next book or like I said, some spin-offs or side stories. One big question I have is, "Is the child a Nephilim?" If so, aren't Elijah and Rafian human now?

Could have been really good. It was rushed, didn't feel the connection the author wanted us to believe. I was bored half way through, needed more depth to the characters and I needed a little more world build too.
Elijah ends up attending the class led by Professor Rafian Castelli help out his sister. The professor is HOT and ends up catching Eli up in a lie. They go to his office and have sweaty, UNPROTECTED, sex – which results in Eli’s being pregnant.
Since the world now knows about shifters and other things paranormal, a male pregnancy is not all that unbelievable, so after proving to himself that his symptoms are those of carrying a baby, Eli confronts Rafian with his news.
After confessing he’s an angel, Rafian warns Eli that he’s now in danger and he recommends that he go into hiding where Rafian can help him stay safe.
How can Eli just give up his entire life for this one night stand? How can he trust him? Does he even want a baby?

I went into this with pretty low expectations. With new authors and Kindle Unlimited, and especially mpreg, I find I can’t set the bar too high. But… I was very pleasantly surprised!
The writing and editing is excellent, the story is fairly well paced and the world-building is strong. I loved the secondary characters probably more than the 2 MCs simply because they seemed to have some depth and uniqueness.
I never got a strong feeling about Rafian – I don’t know what makes him tick other than wanting to be a father. The same can be said for Eli. So, though the smexy times are hot, I can’t say I really felt a strong connection to their HEA because I didn’t feel like I really knew them all that well.
In any case, there’s some action, some sweaty smexy times, mpreg, some wing action (I love that!) and a HFN. It’s not really a HEA because the ending is rather abrupt leading me to believe there’s more to this story.
If you’re a fan of angels or mpreg I’d give this a try.
Great love story and mpreg! From the hot sex scene between the two MCs at the beginning to the final super dramatic ending I was spellbound. There was a great mix of things in the book: steamy scenes, touching romantic moments, tender mpreg moments, mpreg details, cool angel transformations, danger hanging over their heads, an interesting cast of secondary characters, and more! I couldn't see how they were going to pull it all off as the action and tension rose to a nail-biting pitch near the end. The ending and twists were excellent. I enjoyed the writing and creativity; this author has a way of pulling you into her books and making you really bond with the characters. The only thing I would have wished for was more scenes between the two of them as they began to settle in together and really deepen their relationship. This was a KU read for me but I plan to buy it to have for future rereads. I will definitely be looking for more from this author!
First of all this is my first shifter book in regards to an angel. Not because of religious reasons, more to the fact that I have never had interest.
With that said, I am so happy I listened to some the reviews and decided to try something new. I really enjoyed this book. I really enjoyed both MC's and their friends. I am hoping that the author might turn this into a two parter so we can see what happens to the lion shifter that got away, Zayn and the feathers (and his back story; what happened to him), is the baby truly out of danger and what happened to Elijah's mom (not sure if more of story since what little we were given said she died pretty quickly - reason).
Regardless, it was a very good book and I cannot wait to see/read more from this author.
This definitely is one of the better m-preg books I have read without sending me into a coma due to flowery imagery & dollops of word honey as is the case with other books of a similar genre..The writing is clear & crisp though maybe too crisp at times would be my only critique. The story is imaginative & a bit more detail would have easily had scored this book of Angel vs Angels a much higher rating.
"But as the baby grows, you’re going to start shining brighter and brighter until you attract attention.”
I frown. “And that’s a problem? What kind of attention?”
Overall, I liked this story and the characters in it. There were several points where various characters made choices that I felt didn't quite ring true (especially Elijah). Also, the title of the book is Divine Intervention, but there is nothing of the divine in the book; even though Rafian is an angel, he plainly says that the Host aren't affiliated with divinity. And while an intervention is needed to protect the nephalim, it isn't from a divine being, so why the title?
This is by far my new favorite mpeg book. I started this book last night and did put it down till I passed out of sleep. Then read it every moment I could at work till I finished it. It was a great paranormal/Angel book. It was written in a believable way. Pulling me in from page one. The feelings are real and the writing flows perfectly.
If you like paranormal/Angel m/m mpeg books...READ THIS!!!
I really enjoyed this book, it was different than the other paranormal books that I have read. I hope this is the start of a series because I would love to read more about Rafian, Elijah and their baby girl. I'd also like to learn more about Zayn he was quite interesting.
Elijah and Rafian's story was great! When I first started reading I thought, okay this is another werewolf or dragon type story -- not even close! I would love to see the author expand on this world and the characters within. Looking forward to reading other works the author has!
DNF on page 80/161. Skimmed to the end. This one was a big dud for me. I was indifferent to the MC, bored by the MC's love interest (he could have been replaced by an eggplant and he'd have been more interesting), and frustrated with the writing overall. It had the potential to be yummy and exciting, what with the sexy angel and the danger of the situation, but nope. Dull. Dull. Dull. :(
Wow... I have to say I'm impressed with the twists and turns. But, there are so many things left unsaid though. I hope there's a second book otherwise it's like I got the best parts of the book but no real explanation.. Hmm....
I'm so disappointed because a book about an angel would have been amazing and different but there just wasn't enough world building for me. I am left with just tons of questions and the abrupt ending (although still an HEA) just didn't seem right.
