Cream & Armani: No Better Love

Rate this book
They say that Cash rules everything and for Jeremiah, also known as Cream, that phrase rings true.

After the death of his father, Tank, Cream has to step up and fill some big shoes as the head of one of America's most notorious cartels known as the Cocaine Mafia. This sudden change leaves a lot of people unhappy, especially those that had been with Tank since day one and felt as if they should have been next to take the throne.

Not only is Cream responsible for making sure his father's legacy lives on but he's also responsible for his for younger siblings. Taking over where his father left off reveals some unsuspecting secrets and truths that will rock Cream's world.

Dogs will be dogs and snakes will be snakes but it's always those the closest to you that you have to watch out for. While following the cookie crumbs left behind by Tank, Cream lands on the doorstep of the woman who instantly captures his attention.

Armani, is just getting adjusted to being a single mom while balancing life and working full-time. After losing her son’s dad she didn’t expect or want to find love. She had all the love she needed in the form of her son. However, the universe had other plans and allowed her paths to cross with Cream's.

What started as an innocent friendship quickly escalated, which would have been okay if Cream didn’t also have Deja, his fiancée, in the picture…

My rating is based solely on the storyline. If I was rating the overall book including errors, it would be a 3. The plot and storyline was good. I hope part 2 is better edited

It never gets old when women write as men or about drugs. They all seem to put on these big meetings with charts and graphs like it's believable. This one needed editing because at times it was hard to even try to figure out what the author wanted to say with all the double words and words out of order. The story itself was a bit lame seeing that nothing about the Curry's said they held the reigns.

I was really hoping that the drug stuff would be a glimpse and let the relationship take the forefront with drama from there. In a way it did but Cream did nothing about who was the CI and the failed attempt with Angelo just went to show how much the story didn't make sense. The ending was okay but I'm guessing he's alright but the situation with his ex-didn't make sense either seeing as how she went from not wanting anything to do with illegal stuff to the complete opposite.

Even with Nate and his vow, why wait around instead of stepping up from the jump? In all the story was okay if you haven't read any awesome books in this genre. Alfonzo series by S.W. Frank or Rozalyn series by Shan or Lifelong Love by Taz Will and let's not forget Thug series by Wahida Clark. Once you've read those then you'll understand.

So good

A great storyline. Cream is now the man in charge of his fathers empire but he has one secret to tell his siblings. Armani is very independent and a boss chick doing for her son as a single mother until a phone call rocks her world. Cream reaches out to Armani but the news he gets changes their relationship. A little creepy how they meet but after time spent together and a bond brings their families coming together but drama is around the corner and to be continue can't wait for more.

A forbidden love

Cream should of been let Deja go. If she can't handle the real you. Then you don't need to be with her. Glad he and Armani had that connection. She got along well with his family. I hope Storm and Keyon can let the family know.

Time will tell

So far entertaining, the introduction of the characters are good with details and facts that can be deciphered in many forms. Let's see how strong the Curry bothers are at solving problems.
