I have to say that this book was my favorite of the series. I still love the first book, One Ride, and it's still a contender for the best of the lot, but this book gave us a glimpse of the past and I've always loved history.
TBH, I thought this book was gonna be about a bunch of old men. Ewwww. But it wasn't and it turned out to offer so much more. As I've said before, Chelsea Camaron creates real situations with real people with real feelings and reactions. It's refreshing. If I were to choose a fave character from this book, it would be Roundman, who I kinda/sorta got to know in book one. This book showed the heart and soul of these men, how family is a priority, their lives and loves and mistakes, and ultimately the formation of what we know as the Hellions MC Club.
Are you ready for the Final Ride???

Been a fan of the Hellions since the beginning. So now we see their back stories. Who they were, how it all started, why it started. Loved knowing all this and seeing them all in a different light. Not just seeing them as older guys with children and wives. Seeing them in their youth and when they fell in love,when they took their old ladies, and when they had their kids. It is like listening to the older generation in families and finding out what they did before and after they became your grandparents or parents or uncles and aunts. That is exactly what I loved about it. Of course with any family you find out the good, bad and ugly. Was heartbroken when Roundman lost Dia. Knew about it, but actually being there and seeing and feeling the pain. I couldn't stop crying. When Rocky and his wife had their accident the same thing, felt like I lost a family member. Chelsea has made these characters so real. We can be mad at them, laugh at them and with them, and also feel pain when they do. I have loved every story. I know the final story is coming. Am anxious to read, but also sad, because I know that will be the final Hellions story. That really makes me sad. Thank you Chelsea.

Originals Ride was a great 5+ star read.
I really enjoy reading Chelsea Camaron and was excited to read this. I was an emotional wreck when I got done but it was well worth the read.
We get to know more about Roundman, Danza, Rocky and Frisco and get to see how they each came to the club. There is so much going on, you will be taken on an emotional rollercoaster.
I really enjoyed this book and I highly suggest you 1-click and get started today. I have to say that my favorite of the four was Roundman for so many reasons. (you will have to read and find out why). This is the 8th book in the series and I look forward to the next one. This is a series I will definately follow. Thank you for a great read Chelsea.

This is the 8th book in the series by Chelsea Camaron. We've seen the club develop over the previous stories. The next generation of Hellions is on it's way. This book takes us back to how it all began. How friendship turned into brotherhood. How family is defined by those we choose and not always by those who are blood. How the dreams we had as youth change over time.
I loved seeing the beginning. We got glimpses of the relationship between the three remaining Originals in the earlier books. This story is the birth of the Hellions family. I also like how we eventually catch up to present time and get some resolve to the bombshell that was laid out in the last book.
This story also sets us up for the Final Ride. Roundman has been reflecting on his life this whole book. Is it time to pass the mantle on to the next generation? Lots of feels around Roundman's story. Sorry to see the series end but very much looking forward to the conclusion. Final Ride will be releasing November 2016.

Taking the ride with the Originals to back where it all started has been one emotional journey. This book will bring you right back to the foundations and will answer all the questions that you have accumulated along the way in this series. At times you will be shocked, tears will flow but ultimately your connection to this series and the characters will be strengthened.

First! Do NOT look at this book and think I cannot read this because it’s the 8th installment of a series. I actually had not read ANY of the previous books and Im so glad I had not. This is the book that tells the tale of four men and their families – the original members who formed the Hellions MC. I feel like since reading this book first I can do dive into book one of the series knowing how the characters came to be. I LOVE THAT.
This is the story of how Roundman, Danza, Frisco and Rocky became a family bonded by brotherhood. I really loved meeting the guys and seeing how the MC was formed from the ground up. Roundman (Blaine), Danza (Rhett) and Rocky (Tommy) were childhood friends while Frisco (Richard) came barreling in on a big rig and just never left after hearing of what went down with the boys and the bravery that led them to protect their town. There is a really great character that deserves mention by the name of Clive. I don't know if he is brought to light in the other books as I have not read them but I really loved what he did for the boys. You will see when you read it. Seeing the bad is easy --- recognizing good in boys just being boys and knowing they are worthy or more --excellent message there for sure.
Between the four families it’s a tad bit difficult in the beginning to keep everyone separated in your mind. I did have to write some things down and highlight to keep my mind in order but after I grabbed hold of who belonged to who then it was smooth sailing.
There is love, loss and definitely all that goes along with being an in MC woven into the pages of our “before” there was ….. There are some leaky eye moments for sure. Again we have men who stand their ground, love hard, don’t do betrayal and stand strong. Love this book and I thank Chelsea for sending us an ARC for review. I do plan on now moving on to the others.

Wow, what a ride…. I wasn’t sure how well I would like this one since going into the past doesn’t always appeal to me. But this one so worked for me.
The story was fast paced and gave us the story of how it all began and how the guys came to be Roundman, Danza, Frisco, and Rocky. It gave us how they built what they have now with the Hellions MC…the businesses, the family, and the brotherhood.
There was love, loss, and betrayal along the way to get where they are now but it is all coming to light…and being handled. I felt so bad for Frisco when “Tilly” was showing her ass and then when he was finally shown the truth. I couldn’t help but hate her though because she took those years away from Roundman and Dia that in itself was enough for me to never be able to forgive her. Danza on the other hand well, wow he was a dickhead. Thankfully he got his shit straight. I really enjoyed learning about all of their pasts and seeing their relationships and I liked that there wasn’t a lot relationship drama of them getting together just real issues they went through.
I thought I wanted to see Roundman find someone to move on with but I have to say after reading this, as sad as it is, I love that he didn’t. I am sure Dia would be happy for him to find someone but I like the fact that it was her for him and always will be.

I am a huge fan of The Hellions Ride series. Originals Ride being the 8th installment gives us the 4 men that started it all. Roundman, Frisco, Danza and Rocky shared a brotherhood bond that most brothers don't have. The lives of these 4 men made up everything a good book needs - love, loss, a fight worth fighting and family. I can not say enough about this book. And the good news is you don't have to have read the first 7 to enjoy this book. Actually, I am thinking it would have been kind of neat to have read this one first.
Of course, my favorite part of the book was the romance between Dia and Roundman. Their love just made me want to sigh. Her unwavering support of Roundman actually made me question myself. I mean in the very first chapter she shows that she has Roundman's back no matter what. Her douche of an ex pops in, runs his mouth and makes threats. Dia stands right behind her man and says you got this (paraphrasing, obviously).
My advice: Read this book! Read this series! You will not be sorry!

5 Stars from Sammy's Book Obsession!
Originals Ride was an absolutely amazing addition to the Hellions Ride series! It filled in every blank there was in the series so far, that I can think of. The back-story of the original members is 100% awesome! I didn't want to put it down! Loved it!
Of course, like all the others that came before this one in the series, is very well written. The character development is phenomenal as well. While it tells the stories of 4 different people/families, it's not at all confusing. It's very well done in that aspect, too.
I absolutely cannot wait for the next and final book of this series to become available!! This is a must-read! Definitely a must-read if you've read the previous books in the series.

When I seen this title I thought, man its going to be about just the old guys and what kind of crap they get into. I was totally WRONG! This book is so much more. We get to see how Roundman, Rocky, Danza and Frisco forms The Hellions. I was blown away with the storyline and the struggles each and every one of these members struggle with to make this Club. These 4 characters have a big heart, make family a priority and will do anything for The Club. We get to see what each of these characters goes through from heartbreak to watching someone who you love betray you. I can't wait to see what Chelsea comes up for The Final Ride.

The Hellions were born from necessity and the ideals of 4 men. It was the start of what would shape the future. Readers are introduced to the Originals. Roundman, Danza, Rocky and Frisco show us the past with an intimate loom into their lives.
My favorite part was the deep love between Roundman and his Dia. What they have is rare, even in a fictional world.
This is my confession: Chelsea, you have certainly outdone yourself this time. This book right here is exactly what you want to read. When you have a series that has characters that engrave themselves in you it really warms the heart to go back to the beginning and see what made them who they are.
My favorite part was the deep love between Roundman and his Dia. What they have is rare, even in a fictional world.

Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea-- you made me sob - - I was not prepared for the feels with this book. It's no secret I kinda stalk you heh but all kidding aside this book is your best to date. Not that all of your books haven't been amazing but this one wow. Originals Ride has blown all the others out of the water, the emotions were so heavy I had to pause a few times to soak it all in.
I wasn't ready for this book to end and am so happy to know there will be another. I'm not ready to say goodbye to the hellions, the men who started my love of MC books. If you haven't read this series yet, do yourself a favor, read it.

Wow, this book blew me out of the water! This story in presented in two parts, before the MC, and the present. It describes how the original four members Roundman, Rocky, Danza, and Frisco, formed the Hellions, and the struggles each and every one of them had to endure for their club.
This is an awesome storyline, which is emotional, passionate, and answers questions which are present throughout this series. Brilliant work Chelsea!! Every time I think that each book cannot get better I am blown away yet again.

Originals ride book 8
I have read all 8 of these,books they are filled with so much from the very beginning all the way through with each ruff road fight heart break to the greatest love and family I hate to see this end but I am looking forward to book 9 . These books are awesome get them all you will love this entire family .

It was good to know and understand the origins story. Some funny moments, some serious moments and some very sad moments. Even though you knew it was coming. Well written beautiful moments.
But as I said with the last book these are loosing the heat factor for me. Great for what they are just not what I’m looking for.

This is not going to be my normal breakdown of a review. This is a book that I actually kinda hoped Chelsea would get to. You see all the things today and what they go through, but you have not seen the founding four and how everything became. I have to say you will not be disappointed. She breaks everyone down and shows you not only why it has become their savior but how a few boys that were brought up with something to prove, made something for themselves. This isnt one of those horrible bikers clubs, no this one was founded for a reason. To give a group of misfits something that was theirs and that was what they did. They had many struggles and times were never easy, but they lived through it and formed a family. How many of us can say we did that?
I don't have words for you, but I will tell you will cry, you will get angry, and then you will see all the love. This book holds so much for these bikers that you will never forget. Love is such a powerful thing in this series and I'm beginning to see the end of this series and I think that makes me the saddest. I will hate to not have these people in my lives as I get to live their lives through Chelsea's writing. Such a great story, but I'm on to the next one. The Final ride. It scares me a bit because I know it is the end and I just don't want it to be. This has been a great ride and I know the last book won't disappoint me.

This book has just moved to the top spot in this series for me! Take a ride back in time to learn about the who/what/why/when of the four men, the four families, the four originals and the one club.
This book takes you back to the very beginning when the Hellions MC was first formed and introduces us to the guys and how they became Roundman, Rocky, Danza and Frisco. Then it fallows these four while they create the club, find love, experience loss and heartache and create the families they all have been looking for. Love and Loyalty - what more could these brothers ask for?
I really enjoyed reading about all of their pasts and seeing their relationships (the good ones and the bad ones), but holy cow I kept wanting Roundman to find love in the first seven books….but no longer!! I cannot tell you how many tears I cried while reading this book! Dia – those two letters nearly destroyed me! Tearing up as I write this review.

Oh where do I even begin, much like the club at the beginning we go to when Roundman, Danza, and Rocky were razing hell as little kid on the playground then they get older and get jobs and when a MC club up from Florida and start shit with their boss Roundman and Rocky have their boss’s back and stand up for him even if it means losing their life. Next they adding a new member to their friends Frisco, and these 4 start the Hellions. Marriage, babies and a whole lot of ups and downs that come with life and the unexpected curveballs life throws at them they still come out on the other side. This one your just going to have to read and feel all the emotional parts for yourself, life, love, loyalty and ride til you die. This one is probably my favorite book in the whole series its just so well written and ugh i cant i love it so much and I’ve had a few tears fall during this book too. Amazing, fantastic, and not enough words to describe how amazing it is.

To be honest this was probably the book I was least looking forward to reading in this series. It's a book I would typically bypass since it's about the older members of the MC and we know where they have ended up! I'm so glad though that J took the chance to read this one.
This takes us back to the beginning of The Hellions MC and how it all came about! We get to see a different side to all the original men we have came to love. I have to admit I fell in love with Roundman so much while reading his story, he was such a great guy and I loved the relationship he had with both his wife and his daughter.
Roundman wasn't at all like I expected him to be, he was so much better!! I loved this book so much and I can't wait to see what comes next!

OH MY GOD!!!! I NEED MORE STARS!!!
It's been almost exactly a year since I read Heated Ride and I think I forgot how much I love the Hellions!!! I put off reading this book because I guess I thought it would be a rehash of the series. It is SO not that! I loved getting to know the guys and their women from the very beginning. It gave so much more depth to the club. And I cried, oh man I cried a ton of tears!!!But I'm so happy I ended 2017 and started 2018 with this book!!! Not sure I'm quite ready to take that Final Ride yet. But I'm sure it will be soon!!!

Oh! My! Gosh! I feel like I am going to need days to get over this rollercoaster of emotions that was this book. I didn't think I would love it so much. It takes a bit of time to start but Gosh! this book was raw. I don't even know where to begin. All the men had different relationships with their women. It was beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. I've shed so many tears while reading this book. These guys and their women really haven't had it easy but they're surviving and going through life the best way they can. I just can't get over how heartbroken and emotional I feel right now.

a new read for me but it is a great series and this one certainly added plenty to it. have recently done a reread of ice (regulators mc) and knew it was time to go back to the start. each book is fast to read though it seems that they each follow a somewhat similar formula. kept my interest start to end.

Out of all of the books this was my favorite so far. I loved hearing how the club started. This book made me shed a few tears for Roundman and Dia. Their love story shows that not all is bad in a MC. That it is all about brotherhood and family.
I didn't want this book to end. I wished Roundman and Dia could have had a better ending to their story.
This author knows how to write a story to draw you in and you hate to see it end.

Answered some questions, but...
The storyline was a little heard to follow through the audiobook. If I had read the book instead, I might have been able to distinguish between each of the men as they were 'talking'.
Be that as it may, this book answered a lot of questions and brought tears to my eyes more than once.

Really loved it! I have read all of the previous books and it was great to finally get the story of how and why. The dynamics between all the originals and their ol' ladies, the heartbreak's, the great love and the betrayals. I hate to see the series coming to an end but what a ride it's been!

What an emotional ride through time with the original 4 that started the Hellions MC. I laughed, I cried, I ugly cried, there were moment of joy, pain, sorrow and I didn't want this book to end. I have loved this series since the very beginning and I'm not ready for it to end.
