I bought this out of curiosity. I'm very glad that I did. Found this very hard to put down, it has answers so many questions I had about Druidry, while giving me so many new ones to find answers for. Thank you Sophie, four a very well written book, without any confusing depictions. The best book on Druids I have read to date
What an absolutely fascinating book! I couldn't put it down, it was so informative and helpful! I would read this book 100 times over and recommend it to anyone!
I am lucky in life, to have 3 amazing close friends. That isn't many, I know. But they are 3 that I could depend on no matter what. I don't get to see them very often, but that doesn't matter. One of them, has always been Pagan/ Wiccan. Recently, she has decided to follow the path of becoming a Druid. I didn't know a thing about Druids, or what they do and I don't like being ignorant, so I figured I should learn. This seemed like the best book I could find and it was really fascinating. I liked a lot of the aspects/ views and now I have enough knowledge, I think, that I can ask her proper, relevant questions and follow her new path with interest. Druids carry Crane bags, full of stones and feathers and all kinds of natural things. I love that idea. It's charming. A bag full of rocks and stones, I would be tempted to swing it at the heads of people who bothered me, and this is why I am not a Druid I think :)
The first half makes you think. The second half makes you act. Nothing too in depth but definitely gives the reader a foundation and guide to living as a druid.
