Manvi, is currently working as Professor and Head of Information Science and Engineering Department in REVA Institute of Technology and Management, Bangalore. He has also worked as Assistant Professor and Professor and Head of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, Basaveshwar Engineering College, Bagalkot and as lecturer in BLDEA's Engineering College between 1987 and 1994. His areas of interests include - wireless/wired networks, agent technology and fuzzy applications in networks, e-commerce, grid computing and communications. Dr Manvi has published over 25 papers in referred national/international Journals and 70 papers in referred national/international conferences. Three of his papers "Agent technology applications in communications", "Multicast Routing in MANETs by using Multiagent Systems" and "Intelligent Product information presentation in E-Commerce" were among the top downloaded articles published by Elsevier Journals "Computer Communications", "Information Sciences" and "Journal of System Software", respectively.
