Kalil's Coven #1

Erik's Un Amor

Rate this book
Erik has known that Billy was his un amor since the day the man walked in for the editing job, four months ago. It has not been easy watching Billy walk in and out of the office and act as if the man was not destined to change Erik's life, but how do you tell a man, that is human, you are an enforcer for your vampire coven and he is your mate? Well, some things just can't be put off for long, especially when Erik discovers his mate had been placed in grave danger.
Billy loved his job, as an editor, for Romancing the Readers Publishers, until he made what he thought was the biggest discovery in his career. Telling his boss, their company’s most prize author, Dimitri, is a plagiarist was difficult, but not nearly as difficult as finding out that things really do go bump in the night and the plagiarist author was an evil vampire bent on destroying him.
Will Erik ever get to claim his un amor as his own, or will Billy run when he finds out that they are destined mates and Erik has every intention of sinking his fangs into him before Dimitri can?

This was a very awesome story which really held my interest, especially where Billy is concerned. He is mated to Erik, the vampire coven's enforcer. He is such a little spitfire, no matter who he's talking to (even a psychopathic, crazy, vampire), and there were times when he was just so cute. I loved the cast of characters,, and how the plot was depicted, so now I'm on my way to read the next one, yippy! =)

Needs editing

The story is really good. However, it's sad that a book about an editor has so many editing errors. Wrong names used throughout the book. Constantly mixing up of Corey and Billy as well as several other characters. It really marks the flow of reading difficult.

The story is there but the editing and defined characters I expect from this author were not.
Hoping book 2 flows better.

Needs some work

It was a cute story, not sure it was worth the money. The story felt rushed and the characters had no development. Needs lots of editting.

Billy was fickle. Erik was wishy washy. Cory was the most stable character. Writing was choppy.

Another new series by Cree Storm!!!! I love stories about fated mates and those who threaten to take them away. Erik tries to come up with a way to tell his Un Amor what he is and what Billy is to him. It takes deceit from a coven member to finally have Erik claim what is his. I love how Billy will teach this coven that he will not be silent. Will definitely breathe new life into these Century old vampires.

I cannot wait for the next book.

I don’t usually return books, even ones I don’t finish. I always feel like it might be my mood at the time and I might revisit the book at a later date. This one I returned. At 25%, I had enough. After the author got Billy and Cory’s name mixed up multiple time, I felt like the book wasn’t worth the price I paid for it and returned it.
