New Release Special — 99¢. Complete Novel with HEA.
Sometimes, one night can last a lifetime There were three things Sylvie Jones didn’t expect to happen when she took a weekend trip to Chicago:
• Finally kicking her boyfriend, Alan, to the curb (he seriously deserved it). • Meeting a sexy and wealthy stranger named Heath, and being mistaken for a paid escort. • Not correcting Heath’s error and then … a little of this and a whole lot of that later, taking an airplane flight of shame all the way back home (she isn’t really ashamed—the night was too incredible for that).
None of these unexpected events might have changed her life if it weren’t for two more surprises which arrive nine months later—identical twins, Jadyn and Quentyn. Sylvie doesn’t know for sure who their father is, but that’s okay. Her sons are all hers and she can raise them by herself.
This might have been the end of the matter, except for one final thing: Heath. He can’t forget the incredible night he spent with a special lady in Chicago. He’d seek her out, but he doesn’t know her name. She dashed off like Cinderella, not even leaving a shoe behind as a clue to her identity.
He vows to find her. And Heath Collins, reclusive billionaire, always gets what he wants, no matter how long it takes. Getting the lady and twin baby boys, however, may be more than he bargained for.
A romantic comedy with a touch of steam, this is a standalone sequel to “Billionaires Don’t Like Nice Girls.”
I will start with the positive, she had the basic beginnings of a good characters and possible story line.
The story wasn't believable and grammar and editing were horrible.
This author took away her audience with over use of words, unnecessary explanations and most irritating was telling us that her cousins were her best friends. She made that point early on! To keep repeating it tells the reader that the author thinks they are to dumb to understand.
I skimmed through majority of the book because the content was irrelevant and when I hit a good patch I got excited only to be disappointed. I don't doubt this author could get better but she will need more writing and more classes with how to technique. She doesn't engage her audience nor did she make the reader want to continue reading this book or other's by her.
I hope she reads this and uses it to better her craft.
I wanted to like this book. I really did. When Sylvie and Heath first met, I was interested. Prior to them meeting, and reading how her boyfriend disrespected her, I had my doubts. By the time we got to Sylvie having twins and not being sure of seeming to want to know who the father was to her boys, I was close to done.
After the introduction of the meddling family members, that was it for me. I didn't really like Sylvie. There was no chemistry or connection with Heath, outside of those first scenes when she didn't correct his mistake about her identity.
I found the book to be boring and pretty much skimmed through the rest. I have read this writer's work before and enjoyed it more. Not sure what happened with this one.
Sometimes, one night can last a lifetime. There were three things Sylvie Jones didn’t expect to happen when she took a weekend trip to Chicago: 1. Finally kicking her boyfriend, Alan, the womanizer to the curb (he seriously deserved it). 2. Meeting a sexy and wealthy stranger named Heath, and being mistaken for a paid escort Kassy. 3. Not correcting Heath’s error and … a little of this and a whole lot of that later, Sylvie’s taking an airplane flight of shame all the way back home (she isn’t really ashamed—the night was too incredible for that). None of these three unexpected events might have changed her life if it weren’t for two more surprises which arrive nine months later—twins, Jadyn and Quentyn! Sylvie doesn’t know for sure who their father is, but who cares? Her children are all hers and she can raise them all by herself. This might have been the end of the matter, except for one final thing: Heath. He can’t forget the incredible night he spent with a special lady in Chicago. He’d seek her out, but he doesn’t know her name. She dashed off like Cinderella, not even leaving a shoe behind as a clue to her true identity. He vows to find her, PI’s don’t hold out any hope, then he sees her picture with 2 kids on a cooking website on his secretary’s desk. And Heath Collins, reclusive billionaire, always gets what he wants, no matter how long it takes. Getting the lady and twin baby boys, however, may be more than he bargained for.
This is the second book in the series and it's just as fun and fantastic as the first
The story as a whole was good but I didn't like Sylvie. Too many lies & too much unwarranted self-righteous indignation when the lies blew up in her face. Not to mention that romp in the sack what...10minutes into the story!! WTH!? But you travel back to Zeke's Bend and that crazy, loud Jones family is there as outrageous, nosey, interfering and loving as ever. It takes a "crises" for Kent to wake up and you will grit your teeth one minute & laugh out loud the next. Zorro Snap! 😁
I hated Sylvia and her entire family 😭 so many unnecessary explanations wtf. I felt so bored 🥺 why did this author need to write paragraphs upon paragraphs of explanations 😞
I swear this book started off good. And I was really interested in seeing where this would go with Heath & Sylvie and her posing as "Kassy". But then it suddenly became stupid in the middle, when Sylvie became pregnant and made no effort to find out which man was the father of her twins. It took her brother and his girlfriend to do a paternity test. Really? How was Alan's DNA matched? Was a sample taken from the babies? If push hadn't come to shove, Sylvie would have never gotten around to it. Then there's Heath who may have suspected he was the daddy. But instead of being the alpha he was in the beginning. He totally wussed out around Sylvie and tiptoed around the issue. Why didn't he ask her outright? Then the Jones got my nerves, they were so aggravating. Especially, Sophie's mother who spent her time being an obnoxious, overbearing, hateful witch and making assumptions about both Alan and Heath. And for the life of me, I couldn't figure out why Sylvie let Sachet run roughshod over her life. And there was the fact, she insisted she was psychic. She had a sense of who was the real daddy was. But yet she was too prideful to do the right thing by her children. Keeping Heath in the dark and then becoming confrontational, defensive and irrational when confronted with her foolishness. Trying to justify it? Ripping up a check for $10,000 was one for the ages. Since she couldn't afford her bills and was scraping by. But she was a good mother? umm no She needed help, especially financial help. If they would have went to court, the judge would have took that into account. And then made him feel guilty for asserting his parental rights. Criticizing him about how he didn't know how to take care of the babies? When she had to learn just like he did. Taking care of them, means not being selfish and thinking of yourself. And finally, that final confrontation between her and Alan, was also her fault.Had she womaned up in from the get-go, there wouldn't have been so much confusion and drama. Sylvie was an aggravating, immature, stupid woman. She didn't deserve a man like Heath and I just became more frustrated as the book went on.
Very good story, well developed characters, even though, this is number2 in a series. The romantic, intimate parts went over the top which is nice for a change. The character chemistry was great. I definitely recommend this read.
Two heirs. I received the book as an ARC member for an honest review. I enjoyed this book. It had romance and mystery. Sylvie found herself in a situation that she thought would bring her satisfaction after she dumped her boyfriend. Only to find out the man thought she was someone else, an escort. She plays along with Heath only to end up in his bed. Not quite what she thought would happen. She gets nervous because she lies, so she leaves him. Heath discovers he has to have her. He looks for her for a year with no luck. Until his assistant shows him the contest she entered and so did Sylvie. He discovers where she lives and she had twin boys that might be his babies. Heath goes to find her and finds out a whole lot more to her story. Heath fights to keep the woman who stole his heart in his life.
Two Heirs for the Billionaire (The Fabulous Jones Girls Book 2) is a humorous interracial romantic comedy that earned four stars rating. Sylvie found an exciting adventure after she dumped her boyfriend in Chicago. A one night stand changed her life when she met the man of her dreams. After having twins, the man found her after searching for for a year. They found they ha e lot to overcome to find d happiness with each other. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading romantic comedies.
Good story of Jones Lady number two, Slyvie and Heath. I don't know why I am reading these out of order, but the story line of meeting a stranger, having a one-night-stand with him, and becoming pregnant made me wonder what would I do. Overall, I enjoyed the story and the secondary characters had me laughing so hard because that would be my family. I disagreed with one part by I pressed on until the end.
Love this story how all of the aunts and cousins, were in Sylvie's and Heath's business. Glad that Alan got punched in the face. Wonderful story of love and family. Heath learned what it was to be part of a family and Sylvie and Heath learned what lies could do a relationship.
Story was incredibly engaging and well developed. Took several twists and turns to get to a place that made sense but what was uniquely significant is that the male lead in the story made the sacrifice for love rather than the female. The author took an age old story line formula and definitely made it work.
The only reason I gave it a four star rating, was because the leading lady Sylvie, knew she was wrong even her best friend told her she was wrong and instead of apologizing she tried to mend things by sending pictures instead of saying, I was angry and scared and said things I didn't mean. He was tricked to come back. Just messy.
Really enjoyed, the story was a really nice balance, a really good romcom. I don't usually enjoy but this was really well written and I could not put it down. I will be looking out for the others in this series
I chose this rating because I enjoyed reading it .The story shows what happens when we lie about things that are simple .This was very entertaining, keeps my interest through the entire book best of all no cliff hanger. Hate cliff hangers.
When boy meets the woman of his fantasize. One under the misconception that they couldn't have spent their money better. Woman has to pick her she jaw up off the floor - oh my goodness he actually chose her. Off to the races.
Nice quick romance novel. I really liked the hero in the story and how even with his wealth he was down to earth and realistic and truly cared for the heroine. I would read the next book in this series
I loved the story of Sylvie and Heath! The instant connection and the built up of the relationship even after a year's separation provided the reader with an enjoyable Saturday evening read. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing read
This was an awesome book to read!!! I laughed, I almost cried, then I laughed some more!!! This novel was very realistic, very easy to get caught up in the characters!!! I loved eveything about it!! A real page turner!!!
The book was good but too long. It rambled a lot. Interfering family parts were unnecessary. It was like she added these parts to 'm make sure she had enough to complete this book. Not enough sexy scenes.
I laughed, I cried, I really enjoyed this book. I didn't want to put it down. Was upset with Fredrick and his family for doing what he did and them accepting it knowing how he was.
I just loved it!! I always knew I was going to love those Jones girls!! I don't think I'll Ever get enough of those Jones's. With all of thosr Jones's you'll never run out of a story to tell about each family member.
Awww man this book was just as good as the first. I'm itching for the third book. Heath is such a romantic. I feel in love with him from the first time he eneter the scene. I so love the Jones family!! Wish my family was like them!
I enjoy reading this novel, I love how the characters come together. I'm happy that they get their happily ever after. I can't wait to read another novel from this author.
