Hard Impact is a tale of lust, secrets and love.

Misty's main goal in life is to be taken seriously as a journalist, for months shes taken on a mediocre role at a local magazine until her Editor gives her her first big chance. Her assignment? Get to the bottom of the rumors surrounding one of the hottest billionaires around. Easy right? One interview stands in the way of having her first real by line. She could do this......but once she lays eyes on said billionaire shes not so sure, with an intense attraction, a week alone and an air of mystery surrounding him Misty could well be in some serious trouble here, not just professionally but personally as well.

Blake Masters hates journalists, being a private man he hates their incessant need to pry into his past. He was a self made billionaire but they never seemed to want to talk about his company, Hard Impact. Instead they wanted to know what happened in his past, but more importantly they wanted to know if he was indeed a murderer. When he agrees to let Misty interview him he has no doubts in his mind that he wont let her pry into his life, that he will be in control at all times. That is until their attraction becomes something more. Can he keep Misty at a safe distance or will she be the one to finally break down his walls?

I enjoyed this book, the attraction between Blake and Misty was hot with just enough steamy scenes to get your pulses going. Hard impact is a quick and easy read, the only fault i could really mention is to me the ending seemed a bit rushed. Having said that i look forward to reading more from this author.

This was my first time reading anything by Helen Grey and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet story. Helen Grey has given us a story with a little mystery,a small amount of suspense, and some angst to stir the plot .This is Misty's and Blake Masters touching story. Misty is a journalist who just started to work at Sweet Success ,she 's just been filling in around the magazine,until her boss hands her a packet for an interview with the one and only Blake Masters. Blake Masters is the billionaire with the secret and mysterious past that he doesn't talk about,but she not just doing the interview she spending several days with the hot and sexy Blake well traveling to different properties that he owns. Misty is totally not Blake's type of woman that he usually attracted to ,but wow there is some mighty hot sparks when they meet .But it seems more time that they spend together the sparks and the chemistry gets hotter between them . Blake is a private kind of guy,that won't spare anything about himself or his past.But right now the interview isn't whats on their mind. This story will have you on a roller coast ride to see what becomes of these two people. Will misty continue with the interview or will she quit and go with her heart and feelings. I could go on and tell you what happens between these two people but that would spoil this sweet story for you. Ihighly recommend that you read this touching story ,you won't be disappointed.

Blake & Misty….

Loved this very sweet, very deep, very HOT book!! The characters and story are amazing!

Misty wants to be a journalist. Blake hates them! He doesn’t want to have his personal life under a microscope. If they want to discuss his business or plans for the future of his business by all means. But it never goes that way.

Misty needs to ask the had questions….she needs to get inside his head. The problem is….she likes him. Like really likes him as a person and if being a journalist means digging into someone personal life with no regard for their feelings then maybe it’s not for her.

Blake isn’t exactly a man-whore, he just doesn’t do relationships. He’s all about the one night stands because he knows he’ll never have to see them again. The problem with Misty is that he doesn’t want to let her go. He likes her….really likes her.

I loved this story. There aren’t many characters but they are deep and complicated and flawed and wonderful. Just a wonderful, quick and amazing read. I’ve never read Helen Grey but I will definitely look to be reading her books very soon!!

This was my first time reading a Helen Grey. This is a good contemporary romance with a bit of suspense, mystery and a little bit of angst thrown in.

Misty is a journalist who has recently started working for Sweet Success. She's been undertaking fill in roles around the magazine, until her boss hands her a packet for an interview. Little does Misty know that she is going to not only be interviewing Blake Masters, a billionaire with a mysterious past, but she will be spending several days with him travelling to various properties he owns.

Misty is not the type of woman that Blake is normally attracted to but there is a spark of chemistry that builds the more time they spend in each others company. Blake is intensely private and doesn't share his past. The interview and his building attraction is on both their minds.

A well written book with a few adrenaline inducing moments thrown in. Misty and Blake are an engaging couple with some sexy moments that were quite enthralling.

I found this to be a fun story with a bit of mystery.

Misty is a reporter trying to work up the ranks so she can get to where she really wants to be. Working at Sweet Success ( a small step- ok, more like half step- up from tabloids and trashy magazine) is not her dream. She's barely even a reporter. She does filler currently. Until today, her boss brings her in for a big one...

That big one is billionaire play boy, person of interest in his father's murder, and CEO of Hard Impact- Blake Masters.

Blake is a very private person. He doesn't speak to reporters. He never divulges his personal affairs. So this interview promised by his Board is really bothering him. He doesn't want to deal with their questions. So he decides to play it his way...

Blake and Misty embark on an adventure, that neither can anticipate the outcome.

With so many questions between them, Blake and Misty are definitely going to experience the ride of their lives.

4 STAR READ!!

Misty just started her new job at Sweet Success. Her boss wants her to do an article on Blake, one of the wealthiest guys. Misty thinks this will get done in a day's work, but she doesn't know is that she is actually spending days with him and visiting different properties. Blake knows that he doesn't want his par to be brought up by another reporter, but when his agent schedules him to interview with Misty, he had no clue what he was in for. He quickly realizes that Misty is not like the other reporters and tries to keep his distance from her and the feelings that he has. But after a couple nights together, all of that goes out the window and now Misty is between a rock and a hard spot, continue with this article, or quit and go with her feelings for Blake! You will not be disappointed in this read!

I received this for my honest review. A lovely story about a young woman with a desire to be a great reporter Misty was set up I think by her boss Angela, she was supposed to get some dirt on billionaire Blake Masters but things change when she meets the man behind the gossip. He was secretive about his past and this created much gossip after getting to know each other, they attempted squash the rumors and gossip but this turns out to be a great love story. What a brilliant novel this had some heat to it, but a breath of fresh air being a nice traditional romance, some nice sex scenes which aren't too heavy all in all a fantastic story that I couldn't put down and one you won't be disappointed you got.

So this book started off a bit slow for me, but don't let it stop you, once I got to the end of the second chapter I was hooked and couldn't devour it fast enough. I really enjoyed this book, Misty and Blake were an awesome couple and I enjoyed there journey very much. I was right there with Misty and my heart beating double time with her all adventures with Blake.

Hard Impact is low on the angst, just how I like it, it was hot and sexy and really all the way reading through it was just an easy flow, I really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend to all my book friends. Reviewed for HeadTripping Books by Carolyn.

I got to read this early for my honest review. I fully enjoyed reading this book. There a few times where I was yelling. Had some tears at one point. Very will writen book and gets the emotions going. A must have for everyone collection. Hope you pick up a copy.
