This was interesting, a Derek-leaves-without-a-word-but-comes-back-10-years-later trope. The butt hurt inner monologue about he was doing everyone a favor is a little old but they don't over due it. Stiles is slightly OOC but just in that he's 10 years older and has a daughter so of course he's changed a bit. I did like it, and their interactions, a very slow burn.
Got a little slow 3/4 of the way through and I put it down for a few days, but I'm glad I picked it back up and finished. Didn't love the way things progressed but I can appreciate the author doing someone a little different even if I was getting VERY nervous at 95% without any resolution!

Det här var faktiskt helt jävla fantastiskt bra. Jag älskar framtidsversioner av Stiles och Derek, gillar att se hur de vuxit upp och utvecklats, och om de dessutom har trånat efter varandra på håll under tiden som gått och varit fyllda av angst, wow, desto bättre.
Derek som flyr, i tron om att han gör det för andras bästa men under historiens gång inser att han gjort det för att rädda sitt eget skinn. Stiles som tar ansvar och tar ansvar och ger och ger, med sin fantastiska dotter som han tar hand om så gott han bara kan, sin jättefina relation till Allison, sin migrän, som ger upp nästan allt precis när Derek äntligen är redo att ge allt.
Så fint skrivet, med så mycket undertryckt känsla. Superbt!
(Lite klen antagonist, som får ett lite klent slut, men det kan jag lätt tänka bort när allt annat är så så perfekt)
