Started out as a cute second chance romance but I just could not warm up to h. She was thoroughly unlikable and I didn't feel the connection between mc's. It actually felt like she was using him for his money to make her life easier. Normally I love when the H is super besotted and obsessed with the h, but I actually felt bad for Jace and wish he ended up with someone different who appreciated him.

Lily Mae Slater was lost when her best friend Jack Whitaker went to college. He had been like a big brother to her, but she was in love with him and wanted to be treated like an adult. On the night of her high school graduation, she showed up at his door .... drunk. Jace decided it was time to take her in hand...spanking her, then taking her virginity. By morning she was gone. WOW!! This was a fantastic love story that had an awesome plot filled with mystery, suspense, danger, romance and well deserved spankings. The young woman ran away after a night with the love of her life, returning 7 years later where the relationship picks up where it left off. Not being truthful put a wedge between them and put both in extreme danger. Will they be able to continue the relationship? Buy the book to find out. I enjoyed this book immensely.

This is such a sweet and spicy romance and it just drags you in from the very first page. Jace and Lily belong together but through some twists, turns and misunderstandings it takes them a bit to figure it out. When they do, though, the sparks start to fly! Great love story! I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.
