The lucky winner of the Win-An-Alpha lottery is… lucky number 777.
Omega shifter Rhys is lonely and sick of ending up with arrogant werewolves who only want his purity and ability to carry pups. On a whim, Rhys buys a ticket to the lottery. He has a one in a million chance to win, but once the lots are drawn, Rhys has no other choice but to present himself to his mate.
Never in his wildest dreams did Rhys expect to howl for an Alpha who wants all of him—body, heart and soul. Is Romeo the man he’d been searching for all his life, the Alpha who’d complete him?
During the day, Jane is a teacher, wife, and mother. At night, Jane's a scribbler of erotic gay romance. She can't get enough of demanding alphas, werewolves, and happily-ever-afters.
Insta love. Short read. 2.5 stars. Enjoyable little snack bite read. Nothing too complicated going on, no great thought power to be exercised when reading.
Feels more like forced mating if you abide by the lottery rules. What happens if you despise on sight your 'mate'? What are the consequences of not following thru?
Weehellll.. no worries there cus not entertaining that kind of business. This is all about being lucky enough to find your REAL mate and to fall into their arms almost immediately. And totally disregard how Rhys the virgin is soo ok with this being temp.. and inexplicably wanting the rough side of Roman when I didn't get that impression off of him beforehand. Eh... I could be seeing what's not there or reading into it wrong but that is still MY impression..
Enjoyable but not perfect. Rhys' saving himself for The One became a load of baloney once he entered the lottery. It was just fortunate his alpha turned out to be his One.
I wanted an alpha+omega more story and I got the first part.

I kind of got ahead of myself and bought all three in the series. It kind of hit one of the things I was craving so I thought I'd be all over this but - just.
