Turning Points is the story of Tabitha, a middle-aged woman recently diagnosed with depression. Unreceptive to the diagnosis, she vehemently denies she has any problems. When her husband sides with the doctor, she leaves him and spends a weekend at their summer home where she becomes acquainted with a rebellious and troubled young girl who lives out, to dangerous extremes, a passionate and drug-induced lifestyle. Tabitha and the young girl’s older sister intervene and attempt to point the spirited youth in the right direction, but not without resistance. Through helping someone else, Tabitha eventually learns to help herself.
