The Skeptic: “If all this had truly been staged, people would’ve figured it out and demanded the government come out about it.”
The Journalist: “It’s easy to fool a person— It’s quite another to convince them they’ve been fooled.”

Even with the blanket of tattoos that covered both his arms and most of his upper chest, or the face hidden under the hair that constantly fell over his eyes, Channing Maroussas was likely the most beautiful man Chris Sayer had ever met. He was thankful they were close friends as it excused him for any lingering glances. Channing was a bird of brightly lit feathers perched in a world of darkness. But his gift wasn’t just about being beautiful; it was what he could see. He could be in a room full of people, a field emptied of life, reading a newspaper, or overhearing a conversation on the bus— and what was unseen and unheard by others spoke volumes to him. Channing saw what the rest of the world never slowed down long enough to notice, though once pointed out, furies and passions flourished. It was voices like Channing’s that broke the silence of ignorance. His voice just happened to be recorded between the pages of TIME magazine.

Chris Sayer has known Channing for years. But not even that can broker some rules of silence. Chris’s government job is so secretive he can’t even tell his best friend who he works for, which doesn’t help his disagreement over Channing’s journalistic views on global current events. He likes it even less when he finds out Channing left for Syria to cover a story. After Channing accusing the leading presidential elective Nolan Prumpt of inciting hate mongering and fascism, a trip through the greatest hot zone on the planet was like wanting to wash a pill down with poison. But when news got out that Channing had gone missing, Chris knew better than to believe the accusations that his best friend may have changed sides and was now considered an enemy of the state. The one thing Chris did know was he needed to do everything in his power to find Channing before anyone else did. If for no other reason but to let him know how he feels about him.
Time— it’s not long enough — yet with enough of it, wounds all heal.

Both Proud Indy Authors: Tarian like his twin, Talon, love to torment their editor with a nefarious world of foreign-language, slang, local dialect, stretched/outside-of-the-box definitions, and have even been known to throw in some new word creations of their own at times. This, of course, is all thrown in there with the dyslexia soup stock they both suffer from that makes editing for them a joy {joy: n. see mental illness}.
However, the final product comes out as richly detailed as we believe all stories should be created: holographic worlds of love, pain, frustration, and challenges beyond the every day. TIME: Wounds All Heal (The Teddy Bear Collection) by Tarian P.S.

Since the start of Indy publishing the Traditionally published, particularly from the historical dramas, authors have not been shy of claiming the hierarchy of literature genius and spared no effort to look down their noses at Indies and Romance writers.
So it must be a sad, sad existence when I sit here realizing the last 12 books I picked up to read from my favorite genres of sword fighting, knights, and cut-throat assassins that I couldn’t find enough talent to even finish one. Yet I pop open a gay romance written by an Indie author and find more character depth, more plots and twists, more emotions, more fathomable dramas, more frightening scenarios of ‘what if’s’, more mayhem to try to escape, more villains who are actually evil, and more research in this one book then what I could not find in the last 12 books if I had even combined them. All with one hell of a satisfying wrap up.
This isn’t a soap opera, it’s not a bodice ripper, it’s not a slushy boy meets boy with more estrogen then a Madonna show.
This book was just… F**king wow! I bet you have been watching the news lately. Watching the presidential candidates and feeling the doomsday clock ticking in your chest. You probably go through more waves of anger and hate and fear in a day than you care to all from watching what is going on out there. But what if what you are seeing isn’t even scratching the surface of what is really going on? TIME: Wounds All Heals drags you under the table and show you things you don’t want to know, but the connection is so plausible and so believable you can’t unsee them after. This tale follows Channing Maroussas, an investigative reporter with a talent for seeing beyond the smoke screens, as he tries to unearth the evil controllers who are using people’s fears and the media to control how we react to things in order to pursue their agenda; while Channing’s closest friend Chris Sayer does what he can, from within his classified government job position, to make sure Channing doesn’t get killed in the process. A precarious position because if the authorities he answers to knew he was biased they would pull him from his position leaving Channing out there in a hostile world, pitted against one another, while someone unseen is holding the match. What’s astounding is that in all of this dramatic upheaval, there is a hidden romance scratching its way to the surface with wit and humor that catches you off guard and even gives you a moment to chill and stop growling at the world. Bits of cuteness to un-fester all the other emotions. Small candles to break up the darkness.
My hats off to Tarian P.S. for another amazing edge of your seat story that will push the envelope of Romances against the snobs.
This one should get a Grammy or something big like that.

Favorite line #1:
“Haven’t you ever learned? Never flirt with a gay man, it’s like feeding a stray cat, once done you’re committed.”
Favorite line #2:
“Just be sure you stay in touch. I want a letter, a phone call, or an email. And I want them regularly, even if it’s just three words.”
“What kind of three words?”
Chris’s chest heaved out a hard expelled huff, then shook his head, “I’m still alive— I’m working hard—” Chris’s gaze decidedly locked on him, “—come get me.”

Every once in a while you stumble upon a book that challenges the way you think, this is that book! An emotional roller coaster. Part love story, part thought provoking political thriller, part intense intrigue. So many parts to this book.
Princess S.O. has written a masterpiece that will give you chills. The way she describes the political thriller parts, you can completely see this happening today, and you know what I mean. The way she makes you think, especially when you actually realize the government's deflection on issues only makes the book more surreal. I am not one of those who have to give away story lines or plots, so you won't see me reviewing the book scene by scene, but the characters were well beyond fleshed out. Both are damaged in their own way, and that only makes them more human.
You will start off running on page one and finally slow down at the end. This book doesn't stop! I'm so in awe of this book!!!
I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

2016 Rainbow Awards: Time: Wounds All Heal by Princess S.O.
1) After I'd read the first few pages I wondered where this was going, I even became bored, but soon after Princess blew my mind with this story. Wow! What a trip this was! And the oddest thing was that soon after reading the scene where IS bombs the hospitals in Syria I took a break, turned to the news online and my jaw hit the floor. A bombing at a hospital in Syria had just happened! The break I was going to take was cut short. I had to come back to Princess' story and continue reading. Loved it! But the one thing I loved most was the actual references she included throughout. Very entertaining, fast-paced, never a dull time (after the first few pages). One downfall this book has. It's in Desperate need of editing. The grammar errors were too distracting.
2) This was a tight, fast paced, action packed rollercoaster that kept me glued to it from page one.

TIME: Wounds All Heal

As a reader I go into most books blind, this meaning - unless someone I know has actually read the book and has given me an overview, I'm not sure what I'm going to read. The short synopsis given to get you to buy/read a book sometimes falls short of what to really expect. TIME: Wounds All Heal was such; you know about the two "hero's" -Chris the skeptic and Channing the Journalist. What I didn't know was that it was a political based book, if there is one thing I stay away from it's politics; discussing them, watching debates or reading about them. But this is one time I am happy that I convinced myself to look past all that and read a very well written story. (Please GOD made it only be a story, if not then we are all in trouble).
This book isn't just about politics, even though they factor into a good portion of the story between Chris and Channing. The characters are so well written that you feel their friendship, worry, pain and love. They go from being best friends, one with a secret job with the government that he cannot share with his best friend who is a journalist trying to open the eyes of Americans to all the wrongs going on around them.
I am proud to say I made it through the whole book, I am amazed at the research and background detail (foreign countries, religious beliefs, etc.) that Princess put into the story to make it so real. I am also impressed that the characters are not twenty-somethings but fully grown men who have lived life and not always in the best ways. Always love a good HEA and that's what this is.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a great: best friend/lover/spy/HEA

I love a book that keeps you on the edge of your seat and guessing to the end, and this one fits that bill! There are twists and turns that will have you gasping, trust me you don't want to miss it!

Channing sees the world differently than everyone else, what others miss he doesn't, and he isn't afraid to tell about it! I love this character because he is a breath of fresh air, and he just feels... but Channing could get himself in trouble, so much trouble that even his best friend Chris may not be able to help.

Chris has to keep part of his life secret, even from Channing, who is his closest friend, but is that all they feel for each other? Will they get a chance to explore these feelings?

Let me tell you friends, the suspense in this book is thrilling, as are the steamy scenes, you don't want to miss this one! Thanks Princess S.O., for this book that gives us all we could have asked for and more!

A timely political thriller with a side of gay romance

This was quite a read in April 2016, having recent events sited and a thinly disguised character who is obviously Donald Trump running for President and using Trump's own recent rhetoric. A gay journalist has been threatened by "Prumpt", who is calling for war in the Middle East. Channing has been investigating events in the Middle East and begins to put the puzzle pieces together that indicate that not only is Prumpt involved in misleading the public, but the plot may go all the way to the White House. When ISIS kidnaps Channing, both an "infidel" journalist and a gay man, his best friend, a CIA agent who has finally revealed that he is in love with Chris, must decide what is best for the country and his own desires as Channing is put on national TV, with ISIS about to behead him.

It's probably considered inappropriate for me to rate this book, since the author is also my cover artist and publishing formater, so take it as bias if you wish. (just being honest here) But WOW I have to say this, "F**King WOW !!!"
I've never had a short story run me through a wringer with so many emotions before.
It's got cute stuff, shy stuff, friendship stuff, scary stuff, grieving stuff, adventure, suspense, some 'awws', I flipped a few characters off, wanted to strangle another, edge of my seat stuff and a solid "CHRIS! Go get him out of there!" stuff.

phew,

A Must-Read book that will challenge you and make you think. 5 bright shining stars that would have been more if the ratings would let me!!!

Being a big fan of The Teddy Bear Collection, a group of stand-alone stories that explore the dynamics of men in unique circumstances and forbidden love, I couldn't wait for this release. Then I read the blurb and…I was worried. I had finally removed myself and left the political arena and Washington DC. I wasn't sure that I wanted to open back up that part of my past. But, boy oh boy, am I glad that I took the risk and read this story. But is story the right word??? You need to read it and draw your own conclusions.

“TIME: Wounds All Heal” is the intriguing story of a TIMES correspondent, Channing Maroussas, and his best friend, Chris Sayer, who holds some kind of ultra-secret government job. Not two people that you would ever think would become the best-of-friends in a town like Washington DC. Add in that Channing is “out and proud” while Chris is his straight, divorced and secretive friend. Also, Channing has this unique sixth sense-like ability to see beyond the obvious to what others don’t see. And he doesn't back down from a challenge when he sees things others, especially those in power, don't want him to see or probe around into. The kind of things that have made others in the past either disappear or die. When Channing lands in the middle of a political campaign and his wheels start turning he becomes a risk to the candidate, a candidate that doesn't like to lose or be questioned. A very rich and powerful man that can make you disappear. This is the story of what Channing does with a news story/idea and how he runs with it. It is also the story of two best friends, with one of them holding a huge secret of his attraction.

I have to say, I not only found both of these men to be believable and creditable, but was taken in by their code of honor. They go after the truth and don't back down when the times get tough. Politics and international relations are two very difficult genres to write about. You really have to do your research or the story completely falls apart. Author Princess S.O. seems to have done a remarkable amount of research into the behind-the-scenes facts to make this story so credible. I also applaud the use of men that are not just breaking into the world on their own. Chris is 57 and Channing is 48. They are seasoned men in both their careers and personal lives. It was refreshing to see characters that have lived and are still reaching out for more. More of what they need and more of what they deserve. Both men have back stories that are shared to round out the book. Channing’s was personally gutting to read. I won't share any more but it was beyond disturbing. Chris, being of the age he is, has what would seem to be completely believable past. Being openly gay in the military or federal world in the 70’s just wasn't happening. You had to play the heterosexual game or you were out of there…or worse.

Okay, now for the reason why this is a must-read. This is not a cutesy little romantic romp. This is a story that will challenge your thoughts and make you wonder. It will make you start to think and ask questions. It will push you. But it will push you in a really good way. You just have to go into this with an open mind. Yes, this book had intrigue and danger. Yes, this book will make you want to question lots of things in the past after you read it. Conspiracy theory stories do that. But it also has a heart-warming and compassionate love story. A story of how love does conquer all, against huge adversities. I can not recommend enough how important a read this book is. Don't let the subject matter stop you, this is a great book!

Time: Wounds All Heal by Tarian P.S., fiction with a twist of fact or facts with a twist of fiction. Where politics and the media are involved you never really know which it is. The politicians are trying to sell themselves and the media is trying to sell news. The fact it is an election year both are going all out for your vote and your money. Tarian P.S. has taken the best and worst of both sides and what a story he has come up with. Shady politicians, no holds barred reporter and to top it off a secret agent and a conspiracy that will make you think, wait did I hear that right and did that really just happen.

I have to admit it was a lot of fun watching the entire goings on of an election, fictional or not. I also had a bit of fun putting some public figures as well as friends in place of the characters. Admit it we all do it while we read a story. Now it would have been more fun to put myself in as one of the main characters but alas I am a female and our main characters are male. TIME: Wounds All Heal is not only a suspense/thriller/politic theme story; it is also a gay romance.

Oh our main characters Channing and Chris. Two perfectly matched men but also kind of a taboo as well. I mean really Chris is an agent for one of the Government Agencies, yes we find out which agency but I won’t tell because that would spoil the moment, and Channing is a reporter. Tarian throws a twist into the keep your friends close and your enemies’ closer cliché. I mean with politicians, agents and reporters how do you know which are which? It is a lot of fun finding out though.

I am having a bit of trouble choosing a favorite between Channing and Chris. Seriously Agent Jethro Gibbs has nothing on our silver fox Secret Agent Chris. Damn did you see the cover? Chris is all that and a bag of chips! Chris lets just enough about himself out to Channing to make him the things dreams are made of. He also keeps a few things secret enough to make him that man of mystery as well as tosses in a few surprises to keep you and Channing guessing. There are also a few scenes that will have you swooning as he captures your heart. He is a class act!

Channing, again did you see the cover? I am not a long hair on a man kind of woman but it so works for Channing. He is a free spirit, he also sees and hears things that people miss or ignore. But at the same time he has a cage that sometimes slams the door in his face and on his heart. Like Chris, Channing is driven, strong willed, honorable. Unlike Chris he uses his knowledge of what is happening to enlighten the public. He also has a few secrets, *wipes a tear* untold truths that will break your heart and at the same time enrage you. It also helps explains his drive to open others eyes, help people see what is happening, knowledge is power.

This is a story that has everything needed to keep me turning the pages well after bed time, hello book hangover. The balance of suspense/adventure/suspense and romance was perfect. The banter between Channing and Chris as well as the other characters was great. I really loved the party scene that was a priceless moment of put you in your place banter!

I think you should be warned there are some truths to this story that we have heard but at the same time put them in a safe place because we don’t have firsthand knowledge. Tarian P.S. puts not just a face but a name on the people these truths are visited on. This puts a blaring bright ugly light on those truths so the reader can connect to these victims. This fact also makes this a worth wile read. Well done Tarian P.S. very well done.

4.5 Star review by The Blogger Girls.

This refreshingly different story is part of the Teddy Bear Collection, all of which are unrelated and can be read on their own. I was not quite sure what to make of this when I started or even whether I wanted to read it at all, based on my own disgust of the political goings on in real life. But, I’m really glad I gave it a shot. Though the similarities to and possibilities of these things being a reality really creeped me out at times, I could not put it down once I started.

Channing is a journalist known for making waves. He is able to see things in various situations that other people do not of which the politicians bank on the general public not seeing. He shows us how the media and the politicians are basically in each others’ pockets; how the media skews and even creates events to rile the public up in ways that will allow said politicians to run their own agendas, especially concerning war; how the people of the Muslim world are skewed by their own people towards us; and how that, in turn, churns up even more hostility. We even get glimpses of what it must be like to live in those war-torn countries where aid is not given as intended but sold to people with nothing left to purchase it with.

But the main story surrounds the current election of Prumpt and how he is using the media and his money and power to rally behind him for a shoe-in at the voting booths. The closer Channing gets to connecting the dots, the more Prumpt (and others) turn up the heat on him.

By his side is his friend, Chris, whom Channing has feelings for, but whom is a straight, divorced father of two. Chris is a bit of a mystery though. He works in the government, but never talks about it. Channing has learned to let Chris keep his secrets, but uses his friend as a sounding board for his work. Chris, on the other hand, has hidden his feelings for Channing, choosing instead to shadow and protect him from behind the scenes using his position and connections. The two dance around a bit, but there is definitely romance and a sweet HEA once you make it through Channing’s latest mission to bring down Prumpt. As dangerous as things get for him, he feels he has no choice but to see things through, gather enough evidence to really blow the whistle on Prumpt, and hope he comes out alive and whole at the end.

I should have known I would end up enjoying this one – I’ve loved all of the Teddy Bear Collection thus far. Each one has been unique and there is no doubt about how much Princess has put into the research and details of each story. This one takes the cake on that front, because as much as I hate political details, this was spot on, completely believable, and even a bit scary. If you’re looking for a story that will make you think and question things in the real world (which people should definitely do), I highly recommend you give this story a try. I can’t wait to see what comes up in the next installment of the Teddy Bear Collection.

4.5 Stars

While not a particularly comfortable subject matter, this gutsy novel is a bold and refreshing departure by Princess S. O., and there is nothing better than a heaping dose of the unexpected. Even if it is served up as an uncomfortable observation of powers abused and the rampant apathy that allows such abuse to flourish. This is a dramatized take on the world right now. It is about what can happen when people in general stop thinking with open minds and allow themselves to be led by vainglorious rhetoric into the great Stepford-like wasteland. It is fiction. But it is so damned feasible in the general sense, that it provides some 200 pages of wholly engrossing horror.

Having said all that, it is also the story of two long-time friends who live and work on somewhat opposite ends of the political intrigue sphere that is Washington DC. Each man has unacknowledged feelings for the other; one openly out and the other not. Not even to the best friend. Channing’s self imposed investigative assignment to war-torn Middle East has covert spy friend Chris dispatched to observe and neutralize him, Channing having been labelled a traitor in the name of political expediency. Under dire, life-threatening conditions, in a place where their orientation is an automatic and barbaric death sentence and their enemy comes from both sides, the two overcome both personal and practical obstacles to concede their feelings. In this world however, happily ever after is not without consequences and choices are made in the background wherein, suffice it to say, I would not want to be the one making them.

Conspiracy theories abound today and as with all rumour and conjecture, there is no doubt at least some of it is based in truth. It is quite possible, maybe even probable, that all of us peons are being played like a cheap fiddle. At our own expense. This however, is merely a story, and while there are some instances of artistic licence in the telling of it that will more than likely elicit some strong reaction, it is important to remember that it is just a story.

It is also a reminder to open up all the senses that allow us to “see” around us. Hindsight is 20/20, and best we see what is really in that path ahead of us and what is not, so we can avoid or at least mitigate the inevitable regrets that hindsight most often serves up.

Huge kudos to Princess S.O. for the profound departure in the standard written fare. It just illustrates the truth in the old adage: “when you come to a fork in the road, take it…”

I was given this book for an honest review.
Never having read work from this author before, I found myself in over my head and enjoying it.
This book takes you into a realm of intrigue, political upheaval, danger, corruption and amid all that a love strong enough to survive anything. What the writer has done, brilliantly I might add, is show us what possibly/probably is happening in the world today. Thrown into all the corruption is a true friendship that unknowingly by either man, has been love for quite a while. They have each others backs and will do ANYTHING for each other. I am sure all the other reviews have told a quite a bit of the story which is great but when I write a review I like to tell how the story affected me personally. Some may like my type of review while others may not. Let me say this about this story. This story ,while at times was quite humorous, also shown a light on the corruption that does go on in the world. It also showed the compassion, fear and lengths people will go through to protect or avenge the wrong done to their loved ones. All I know is I loved this book. The story the author told flawlessly was a bumpy ride in only that truths were revealed that shake up a persons belief system and yet the love of the two main characters shown throughout the book.
As I wrote this I listened to Disturbed's version of The Sound of Silence, as the song was suggested in the book. After reading this book, I suggest you do the same. Brilliant! I am a Simon and Garfunkle girl but Disturbed's version fits the tone of this book.
I strongly endorse people to read this book. Excellently done.

Not your average bear here

Ok. So its not your average romance novel. The romance and yes, even the sex, is actually secondary in this one. I'm sure a lot of folks will move right along and not bother for exactly that reason but I'm asking you not to. It's a great read. It needs a certain type of person to appreciate, I think. Someone who at least recognizes if not understands the manipulations and political intrigue that happens in our world every day. I'm not saying you have to be in agreement with the political views woven throughout this story, but you do need to have an open mind.

The romance is there, though, and bittersweet. The sex is hot and steamy while being poignant and touching. It's a thinker's book. Read at your own risk. It just might start your mind down a new path.

Time: Wounds All Heal Princess S.O.

Channing Maroussas is a free lance journalist for Time Magazine. Chris Sayer is Channing's best friend and a CIA spy. Slowly, Chris has fallen in love with Channing. Before Chris can tell Channing his real feelings, Channing stumps into a government conspiracy to start a war in Syria. He ends up going there and has to be rescued by Chris.

Narrated from the third person point of view. Unlike Ivan Vs Ivan, this book contains a real plot. The porn/erotica is a byproduct of the plot and not the other way around. This plot is not very believable, but it's a plot nonetheless. The third person narration gets a bit confusing since the writer switches point of views without being clear about it.

I enjoyed the book and read it in one sitting. Clearly Princess can write but could use help from a professional editor.

Fun read.

This was very different from the books I normally read. But, as you can see from my 5 stars, I really enjoyed it.
Princess took this directly from today's headlines and makes it very believable.
There's action, adventure, espionage along with just enough romance thrown in. Oh yeah, there's a little humor as well. Enough so, that when I read one of the character's names, I was extremely glad I wasn't drinking anything at the time.
I will definitely recommend this book to everyone, especially those interested in today's politics.

Outstanding story! Princess S.O. has brought a story with so much heart to it for the readers. I was blown away with how the story unfolded and kept me so mesmerized. The story was so realistic in the telling you would have thought it was on the evening news. It is a must read ! I was on the edge a lot of this story.
