After the horrors on the Judgement and First Plane of Hell, Keith is beginning to realize his assignment to write about his journeys amongst the damned has not spared him from being one. Still battling the weight of his past decisions he’s surprised to find a new ally in a famous personality from Earths past who just happens to be the Overlord of the Second Plane, the Marquis DeSade. With his new companion Usis, they descend to Lust, where they witness how DeSade has made the art of torture into a theater production in the French style. Keith quickly learns that any hope that he would grow accustomed to the pain inflicted upon those imprisoned here was nothing more than a foolish pipe dream. On this Plane, he is introduced to the essence of suffering while his beliefs about The Father, Hell and the workings of Creation are all brought into question. As his fear and confusion grows, it is also suggested he journey to a cave and visit another of the Fallen, a creature of myth he only knows from the tarot cards he had owned while living. The Dark Lord welcomes you to The Plane of Lust. Here you will learn, with Keith and his two companions how your very passions will be tested and pushed to their limits. Come, let us show you what awaits if your sin is obsession and desire.

Alexander is an American author of dark horror and fantasy. Having spent most of my early professional life in the tech industry, I honed by skill at sarcasm and impatience to the point where becoming a writer just seemed like a natural course. He calls writing something that feeds his soul more than his pocketbook. The two cornerstones of his writing career are the series, Journal of a Deadman and The Family Morningstar. Both have received adulation and infamy for addressing the subjects of God, Lucifer, and Eternity from a different point of view. His LGTBQ+ series Into the Wild follows two friends, Mat and Devon, as their transported from a modern world to a magical one. It is important here to point out that though Mr. Collas is a gay author, that does not exclusively define his writing. He strives to make all his characters, regardless the presence or absence of a gender, as part of the larger narrative, as each person naturally is.

The two main works The Family Morningstar and Journals of a Deadman spawned from Alexanders Second Life avatar Xia Morningstar (Xia Chang), who still wanders the dark places of that virtual reality. He can often be found at the inworld Death Nail Media shop where members of Second Life can digital copies of Alexander's books using in-game money called Lindens.

Alexander can be found on Twitter (@Alexand64117442) on Facebook (AuthorAlexanderCollas) and at www.alexandercollas.com where you can pick up a free copy of Journal of a Deadman: Judgement.

This certainly was Lust, alot of sex and. With the warped use of one of the most demented characters in history as the Overlord Collas really pushed the writing up a notch. This book isn't for the squeamish, it is hysterical in parts but alot of it is harsh and brutal. It is worth the read but just be warned.

Quite a follow-up for the first one. At some points it made me a little uncomfortable but had to keep reminding myself, as Keith does, you are reading about hell after all. Can't except tea parties and posies. The story is still very engaging as are the characters. And the "human" element and human feelings were in this one as they were in the volume 1. This makes it touching in places while in others you recoil from the pictures of hell. The blend is very good and never too much of one or the other at any one point in time. Again a recommended read for those that doesn't expect everything to be only happiness and flowers with happy endings for all.

This is a hard read, the author forces the reader to deal with some serious issues. With that being said, I have to say I look forward to the next installment. The stories sucks you in and I found it really hard to put the book down.
