Bree's blind ... and what she doesn't know might destroy her. The situation's getting worse for Team Unseelie. The Partholoni town they've found themselves in is getting a little too hot to hold them, and things are escalating faster than anyone expected. Hawk's always said secrets aren't meant to be shared. He's about to find out how true that is. With the war between Partholoni and Formori hotting up, and secrets ancient and recent tearing the team apart - it'll be a miracle if Team Unseelie survives the month. They're still no closer to curing the Taint - and with Bree changing physically on a daily basis, time's becoming an issue. Things are getting complicated. Again.
Just when you think the Faery chronicles can't get any better, the author releases Kingmakers. The way that new characters have developed is a show of excellent writing. As always the gentle wry humour and banter is so very funny, you could laugh so much that you fall off your seat, as I nearly did at times. The way problems and obstacles are found and dealt with are amazing as always. The author has a great eye for detail, and it shows in all four books. I really hope that there is going to be a book five. I will be looking out for anything the author may release or already has. Really really loved this book, as well as the other three. A very very talented author indeed.
I chose a 5 star rating, because I love this set of books. The characters and storyline are well developed, the characters themselves are three dimensional, and the fightscenes are fantastic!
