Charlotte and Edward’s story is finally here…YES!!! I have been waiting for this book for two years and it was worth the wait.

We are first introduced to the couple in Nexus (book 1 of the series) but it isn’t until now that we really get to know them. My interest was immediately piqued when Charlotte meets Katherine whilst she is leading Edward around Club Nexus on a leash. The idea of a Domme (or female Alpha) excited and titillated me. In Wicked we get to see the real people behind the leather and collars.
Charlotte has become my new favorite leading lady, (Sorry Tessa from the Stone Society). In the first chapter I read the words “How do I explain something I don’t understand myself? I have no words to describe the depravity and contradictory elements of my desires.” I did not just read these words—I took them in, mulled them over and realized that the author, Lainie Suzanne, had just described the very thoughts rolling around in my head. From that moment on, Charlotte became the heroine of all heroines. From that moment on, she became me and every other woman I know—of a certain age—that has started to rethink the ways she views herself and her sexuality. I tip my hat to Ms. Suzanne and her ability to once again tap into the psyche of her characters and make them REAL.

In my reviews I generally give a synopsis of the story, but this time I am simply going to say you MUST READ THIS BOOK! I don’t want to give away any of the delectable details that will keep you turning the pages, albeit with one hand ;). Wicked has so many surprises, that even as a longtime fan of the series, I was even caught in the web. If the Nexus series is new to you, please hurry order the previous three books, Nexus, Soleil and Deceit just so you can get to WICKED. You and your SO will definitely Thank me later!

I, without hesitation, give WICKED 5 stars and, say thanks to Lainie Suzanne for all of the “feels” this book gave me.

**I was provided a gift copy of this book for an honest review, but I also have an e-copy on pre-order and will be placing my order for a signed paperback ASAP.

Lainie Susanne’s Nexus Series is by far my favorite series of the hundreds I have read. And Wicked does not disappoint. This series, while incredibly sexy, funny and suspenseful, incorporates all the issues of the day that are clearly important to this author. Themes of inclusion, religion, diversity, tolerance, self- esteem and acceptance are omnipresent in this amazing series and brought to light in such a way that the reader is left thinking . . . if only Nexus was real! Each book has a main focus, but all of Ms. Suzanne’s characters continue their journeys in each new book . . . making the reader more invested in the series.

Wicked focuses on Charlotte – a pint sized, Gwen Stefanie look alike ER nurse – and Edward – a Native American EMT god – who are trying to find themselves in the course of finding their true place in the BDSM culture under the tutelage of the Dom or all doms - Master Isaac – the epitome of all things perfectly alfa male.

From the first page of this book, you will be squirming in your seat and kicking yourself for not waiting until you were comfortable ensconced at home – in privacy - to start this story. I had difficulty keeping myself from completely losing control in the first five chapters. The writing in smooth as the bourbon Master Isaac favors and as steamy as the ever hot as hell Master Patrick, who just makes me crave more. There are many surprises in this book and it’s hard not to give them away but the ride is definitely worth it. While each book can be read alone, it’s best to read the series in order – Nexus, Soleil, Deceit and Wicked. The author offers a free prequel to Nexus – Fate – which is a little slice of Master Isaac’s background and a beautiful gift to her readers.

Run, don’t walk to get your copy of Wicked. I was blessed to be asked to read an advance copy and I confidently and gratefully give this book FIVE STARS. Well done Lainie Suzanne. Cannot wait to see where you take the Nexus family next.

I guess I am going to be the brave one and go ahead and post the 1st review! First off it seems like I have waited forever for Wicked to come out! Wicked is a Novella so it is a pretty fast book to read. Which I love because sometimes you just want a book to squeeze in before another book that you want to read comes out.

Lainie Suzanne I love this series that you have created! Wicked (The Nexus Series Book 4) may be my favorite book so far. But, then I might have said that with each of the books in this series…. I love, love, love Wicked!!! And, did I say the series too? ;) Let me tell you Wicked is just plain out and out Hawt!!!

Patrick Donovan (of course you know who he is if you have read any of the other books in the Nexus Series) he introduces Charlotte Thomas (aka Charlie) to Edward Cree (but, they know each other because they work together, uh oh!) I can’t tell you more because I don’t do Spoilers and you need to read this book and this series as long as you like/love BDSM themed books.

The Nexus Series should be read in order: 1. Nexus 2. Soleil 3. Deceit 4. Wicked (this book)

I loved reading Wicked and I love how Lainie Suzanne writes (please don’t make me wait so long for the next one)!

Wicked was given to me as a complimentary copy for an honest review. I give it 5 Wickedly HAWT Stars!

I met Charlotte and Edward briefly in Nexus. I had no idea how dynamic and sexy this duo was. You will both want to be Charlotte and fear Charlotte when you get to know her in Wicked! Edward sure has his hands, and other parts, full with Mistress Charlotte. But wait, it’s not that simple. He keeps her on her toes! As switches, this amazing couple demands a lot from each other and gives so much to each other. Every chapter of this white hot read is sexier than the last. A little humor, a lot of family, and the usual updates on all of my Nexus family make me want to give this many, many stars. Each chapter in the Nexus Series makes me want more and more. Each installment just gets better and better!

After finishing book 3 in this series I jumped right into this book and I am so glad I did! This book is all about Charlotte and Edward. We have seen them in the first 3 books but just briefly here and there so it was great to read about their past, how they became the couple that they are now and all the twists and issues they faced to get to this point. We also get more of Master Isaac and Kathy, Master Patrick, Master Derek and Deb as well. There are some interesting turns in this book and a couple wonderful surprises too. This series is a one click must read.

I’ve been anticipating this book seemingly forever, and let me tell you it was worth the wait!

I just started typing everything that went through my head when writing my review of Wicked. Then, I had to go back and take out all the spoilers—there were quite a few, so you can enjoy this story as much as I did.

Charlotte has had some “deviant” desires as she calls them. She’s had these urges and inclinations that she was sometimes ashamed of. A friend suggests she try Nexus, so she could see for herself that her sexual desires weren’t abnormal at all.

Here’s where it becomes a little tougher to tell you this story without spoiling it.

While under the tutelage of Isaac (love him!), she learns to embrace all her desires and proclivities. She also learns everything that’s involved with being a submissive. You know Isaac doesn’t pull and punches, and he takes his BDSM very seriously. Charlotte meets Edward through mutual friends, and there’s definitely an attraction between them. Charlotte tries to focus on her submissive lessons instead of the gorgeous Dom that seems to always have his eye on her. As Edward is undergoing his Dom training, his path crosses with Charlotte’s submissive training, and the sparks really fly. Charlotte is a sexual submissive, but outside the bedroom—and Nexus—she takes control of everything and makes no excuses for it. Edward is a natural Dom, but he’s willing to make allowances in his pursuit of Charlotte. I fell in love with Edward almost as quickly as I did Isaac. They have some similar qualities that I found endearing, and intimidating—which was kinda hot!

Lainie Suzanne knows how to write a hot D/s story, and this one I swear is a little hotter. You root for Charlotte and Edward, but you want to spank them both for some of their stubbornness.

You get to catch up with the rest of the Nexus gang you’ve come to know and love, and meet a few new folks who I hope to see more of in the future.

I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 5 stars.

Charlotte feels guilty about being a submissive with Dominant desires. I've been waiting for a bdsm romance novel to deal with what I think is an interesting dichotomy. She gets the opportunity of a lifetime when her Dom gets Master Isaac to introduce her to a male Switch. And so this story takes its own unique journey to something not often mentioned or acknowledged in bdsm.

I liked her having to overcome guilt and face her longing. She was well-matched. Edward allowed her to experience the full range as he also had his own challenges. The internal turmoil with Charlotte and the external turmoil for Edward. Then there is the hot bdsm sex, and an awkward situation for Charlotte! The Nexus club is at the center of it all.

One note is that the timeline goes back and forth a bit filling in some past details, so it took a little bit to get used that and keeping track of it. I liked that Edward's heritage is included and adds to story. Charlotte finally reveals her family history, which she hoped to avoid revealing. The scenes at the club where they both get to be Dominant and submissive were terrific. The emphasis on more realistic elements of the safe, sane, and consensual aspects of bdsm and the importance of proper training makes this even more satisfying.

Then there was catching up with Master Isaac and his sub Katherine as well as Doms Patrick and Derek and sub Deborah. This story goes back to the recent past and then heads out to the future. There were some laugh out loud scenes with Katherine and Isaac. There are a few surprises. This series must continue. I can't wait to see what twist will be covered next.

Note: I received a copy as a gift from another reader; this is my honest review. I had read and 1-clicked the previous books in the Nexus series.

I have been waiting for this story from Charlotte and Edward's first scene in the first book: Nexus. The wait? Completely worth it!!!!

With Wicked we get the backstory of how Charlotte and Edward met and became the dynamic duo. Alongside that we get to see and meet the younger versions of the Doms we've come to know and love. Reading about events that have been talked about in the three previous book, but now getting details and seeing them persee in real time.

Lainie also brings us updates on our favorite couples. We get to see a different side of Isaac in one scene that left me breathless.

Wicked shows the powerful emotion of love. I was awed at the writing and feelings Lainie put into the story. There were a few times I had to stop reading and just admire the beauty of the scene, the adoration between the characters.

The sex, oh goodness. Wicked definitely lives up to it's name and the hype. Lainie holds nothing back when it comes to being able to turn on the reader. Multiple O's are in your future. Just when you've come down from your high she'll bring you right back to the peak and push you over so deliciously. If you've never been a wonton person, prepare yourself to become one now.

Wicked is a marvelous addition to the Nexus series. The pleasure, turmoil, and sensations Lainie brings into the story are exquisite. Everything about Wicked is supurb.

I enjoyed the series up until this book....

I've really enjoyed the Nexus series, but this book was a miss. I'll tell you where I gave up, Spoiler Alert! I understand that in the BDSM community everyone accepts each other for their own kinks and taboos. I get it, it doesn't bother me. I've read things in books that some people would say makes them sick. It's never bothered me. Until now. Edward inviting Charlotte's FATHER to the club to watch them scene and have sex was just nasty. There are lines that go without saying you do not cross and that's at the top of the list. I didn't want to continue reading after that to be honest. I was really surprised that the author would even write something like that. I feel like I need to take a shower not that I'm done reading this book. Keep in mind I'm no prude. I have hundreds of BDSM books in my library and I've read all different types of taboo but come on. Her FATHER?!?! Gross. It was one thing for Kathy's son to be a member, but she knew so she could avoid being at the club too. Eddie blindfolded Charlotte, dominated her, and had rough sex with her while her father watched and didn't tell her! She gets the surprise of her life when he takes the blindfold off. I'm sorry but it was creepy as fu¢k!

*ARC for honest review*

Another good book in this Nexus series. This is the story about Charlotte, the domme in the club. Having desires that many others in the lifestyle do not agree with, Charlotte felt like she couldn't be herself. Working as a RN in the emergency room, she met Edward and was instantly attracted to him. Still not secure in who she was, Charlotte was still in training when Edward showed up to the club. Seeing that they are two peas in a pod, and that they both can be who they want to be with each other. But is that enough to satisfy Charlotte and make her happy in her own skin? Or will she deny herself what she truly makes her happy?

While I enjoyed the story of other characters, I felt like it took away from Charlotte and Edward. I wished there would have been more about them even with the updates of everyone else. It felt like everyone's story and and not just Charlotte and Edward. I would still recommend this book to others. I took one break while reading this story. I am looking foward to reading more books from Lainie. :-)

We have been waiting since Nexus came out to find out more about Charlotte and Edward and Lainie Suzanne did not disappoint with Wicked! We find out more on how all of our favourite people are connected prior to coming to the club. It was interesting to see how all their lives intersect outside of the Nexus club. We are also surprised with some updates on some of our favourite couples.
Lainie Suzanne continues to write a strong female lead with Charlotte. The feelings and emotions of being a Domme are interesting as Charlotte explores this side of herself. Add Edward to this mix and the pages burn up with the heat that these two make together! Highly recommend Wicked and can't wait to see who is next in this series!!
A warning to readers though, watch the titles/years as they tend to jump around a bit and not be in sequence. Easy to follow along once you are aware of where you are.

NEXUS ... the name as intriguing as what actually goes on in this sex club.

Charlie is trying to come to terms with her desires and inclinations. After having been "trained" with her friend with benefits Donovan, the time has come to introduce her to Isaac and begin her training as a "switch". Not only is she capable of submission, but she is also inclined to be a Domme. She is a rare and unique gift to whomever she picks as a partner.

But that is the problem, isn't it ? She is not ready to involve herself with anyone. Until she meets Edward. Once she meets him, she knows down to her core, she is in trouble.

This book is the icing on the cake. All our Nexus friends are there. Charlie and Edwards relationship, as complex as it is, is the wonderful cherry on top!

Lainie did it again...she grabbed me from the first page and held me hostage with NO MERCY! Just when you think you have your favorites at Nexus, the people that you would want to be friends with if this were a real place, she removes just a little bit more of the blindfold and lets you see even more. Wicked was everything I was hoping for and even some things I didn't know I wanted but can't imagine why not.
Beyond all else, Wicked is about love. It doesn't always come in the same small pretty box with a bow but that's ok for us don't want that tiny box with a bow!
Enjoy this amazing author and all her wonderful friends she has shared with us. Truly a treat for all!

Love,Love,love!!!

Lainie suzanne has done an amazing job with this series. Every book is beautifully written, and you can tell the love the author has for each character in each story she has written. To be able to read about charlotte and Edward was amazing and i hope we see more books added to nexus series. If there was 10 stars thats what i would give this book and all of the nexus books. Characters that you just fall in love with, wicked was sinfully satisfying and i enjoyed every minute of it.

I have been waiting for Wicked for a long time and it was worth the wait.
This is Charlie and Edwards story and I loved getting to know all sides of them. They have to get over seeing each other professionally to let their life at Nexus seep into their every day lives.
This book checks in on all of our favorites from the first 3 books and if you haven't read those yet I recommend going and reading them as well. This book can be a stand alone but its so much better knowing all the characters and how they fell in love.
I can't wait to see what the next wonderful book by Lainie will be.

Edward and Charlotte's story is amazing and beautiful. Two Dominants that are also submissives....switches. Edward must break through all the protective, defensive layers Charlie has built up in her life. Slowly she blossoms under his care as does he when she fulfills his needs. Interspersed in the book are the continuing stories of Katherine and Isaac and Derek, Debra and Patrick. We get to celebrate the joyous events in all their lives.

Wicked introduces the reader fully to Charlotte and Edward. The scenes between them were very hot and left me wanting more. The author has included updates and fills in background on some of the other characters from previous novels. The writing is very good and she carefully drags you into the world of Nexus and leaves you asking for more. Highly recommended read.

Wicked was definitely that, one Wicked read. Charlotte ER nurse by day and Domme by night. Edward, an EMT by day and a Dom/Switch by night. Fate couldn't of brought a more perfect couple together. Charlotte and Edwards' story was one of the hottest Nexus books to date. This is definitely not a safe for work read.

Wicked

Sometimes this one was confusing with going back in time, with Isaacs first sub and Kathy. Was more confusing than the other books. I liked their story. Can't wait to read more of the storyline. I recommend this series and the author.

Wonderful continuation!

Naughty and nice, with just enough spice. Might sound cheesy, but it is true. Lainie Suzanne keeps you going and picks up perfectly where she left off while adding in the new relationship of Edward and Charlotte (love them) . Love Nexus !
