I quite liked the concept of a book of logic puzzles and problems that were written in a way that related to Game of Thrones. This book does not contain any spoilers at all, the author has just used the names of people and places from the book to make the puzzles seem more fun and interesting.

As for the puzzles themselves, I definitely found that some were easier than others. All the solutions to the questions are provided in the back, which was a good thing. I also liked that explanations were given with most of the solutions, however there were just a few where I felt that the explanation was a little too brief.

Overall this was a fun book, but the puzzles could get frustrating at times.

Puzzle books should be fun and not usually not require a lot of mathematical knowledge. The problems were often confusing in their statement and solutions required knowledge of combinatorics, probability, Euler and other things. A few were clever but not many. This was lets take a math equation and write a random puzzle around it....see how smart the author must be. What a disappointment. I enjoyed being done with it.

Some okay math puzzles. Tons of puzzles that try to be clever but fail with massive leaps of logic. Many instances of repeated puzzles just worded slightly different. Multiple misspellings, both from GoT and even just with consistency in the book itself. Also, there is even a puzzle that is just a story and doesn't even ask a question at the end.

“A Game of Thrones Puzzle Quest” by Tim Dedopulos
Mathematical riddles and word-plays adapted to suit a theme, in this case, A Game of Thrones.
Some were a fun challenge, others a mathematician’s utopia.

A Game Of Thrones Puzzle Treasury is a very visually appealing book. It has been printed up to look old. The puzzles look interesting, even though I did not try any of them because I just started watching the show. I don't care for any spoilers. If I had already watched the show I'd eat this up like cold leftover pizza.
