It seems as though Josh Greene has it all. He’s the star player of the BC Eagles, his college ice hockey team, he’s good-looking, and he’s filthy, filthy rich. What Josh doesn’t have, though, is love. The object of his affections is quiet, bookish Rebecca. She’s beautiful and smart and couldn’t care less about Josh’s money. The only problem is that she can’t stand the sight of him.
Josh’s bad boy image seems to work with pretty much every girl on campus, except Rebecca. As the couple’s fleeting romantic history is revealed, everything is called into question. Will Josh convince Rebecca to give him a shot? And if he does, will his difficult relationship with his father or his mischievous friend, Flyn, come between them?
In this passionate romance, find out whether the jock and the nerd really can be happy together, and whether or not opposites really do attract.
This was a short story. I did not know that this was a bunch of short stories in one book. I only read the first story.
The first story read like a synopsis. It was very matter of fact. I was told everything. I like when I come up with my own conclusions. The BFF was your typical friend that pushes the heroine to do things out of her comfort zone. Dual POVs where the switch happens frequently and randomly.
