So, instead of reading the Hunter Brothers series I read only the O'Rourke sisters books. Just because the first book about Lord Lockwood has a widow h and the last one about Charles has a raped h. Not my thing.

In general I liked it (just like Gina's book, book 4) but didn't love it like Bella's (book 2).

I would have liked more playing between Lilly and Dev (aand more sexy times before the consummation to tense things more).

I loved the gypsies and the Hunters here and there.

There were some inconsistencies like Lilly's practicality disappearing when it was most useful; or when Olney told her Dev had bragged about deflowering her, she was devastated that moment then she forgot about it completely.

I had theories about why Rutherford was so desperate to recover the sapphires, I really thought they had a hidden message about the Blood Wyvern Brotherhood.
Oh, and I was hoping someone "adopted" Ned, at least give him a job in the household or something.

Brilliant!

Unlacing Lilly is full of danger, intrigue, and an enthralling love affair. Devlin will stop at nothing to get his revenge. He is even willing to kidnap Miss Lilly, his enemies fiance, right out of the church. Lilly has backbone and is a spitfire. She completely enchants Devlin but he continues to use her, no matter the cost to her or her reputation. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Abbandono.

Ironic that I read this because I actually like my fluffy romance to be thicker so there is more to it then just the romance formula.I haven't read a thin little Harlequin Historical book like this since I was in college probably! I enjoyed it much more then I thought I would. Mainly because of the frequent point of view thru the sexy male character, Devlin, and his vulnerability and insecurities. I liked the wit between the 2 main characters. I liked the play on words with the book title and Lily's corset strings.

I judged this book by the cover, but there was more to it then I thought there would be.
