The inner-geek in me loved this book so much. Picture this… an EMT with a hero complex goes to a huge convention center where the roof has just caved in and there are multiple injuries. So, whats going on at this convention center? Comic-con. Cosplay. All the fun and geeky things in life. Zach has never been into this stuff. In fact, he actually doesn’t care for video games at all. They’ve consumed his younger sisters life and it frustrates him beyond measure. But when he’s called to this comic-con, he meets Kiera who is dressed as a warrior princess from a video game. It’s completely out of character for him, but Zach finds Kiera irresistible.
She was a mature, intelligent, professional woman. Who dressed up as a warrior princess on the weekends.

Kiera is a bit of a geek and a gamer, but she is also a successful graphic designer. She stays to herself a lot, but that’s just her personality. Zach is a people pleaser, a helper, and likes to do things like play basketball and hang with friends. These two don’t have much in common, but I guess it’s true what they say… sometimes opposites attract.

I really enjoyed this story and I liked the fact that these two brought out a lot of good in one another. Zach had Kiera be a little more sociable with him and less of a workaholic. Kiera showed Zach that gaming wasn’t this awful thing he imagined. I also liked the way his sister, Aimee was incorporated into the story. There are family issues and other things going on, but the story between the two MC’s is very sweet and sexy.

Completely Yours was my first Erin Nicholas read and I can definitely say I will be reading the next book in this series, which will be about one of Kiera’s roommates, Maya. The story kept my attention and I liked both of the main characters. There were moments that seemed a little predictable, but overall it was still a nice read.

Complete opposites find a connection.

What sets you on the path of life? Is it an action, a forceful hand or something you just know inside of you? I have two young boys. My youngest wants to be a rugby league player or a baseball player. I encourage him to try his hardest and work towards his goals but I also remind him that anything can happen and he should keep studying hard. Now, when it comes to my oldest, he wants to be a gamer. This bloody scares me. He’s 13 and I have this horrific image of him at 28 sitting in his room (at my house) and gaming all day and night. To be honest, there is no chance in hell that hubby and I will let that happen. But, I think that’s what you picture when you think about someone gaming. Completely Yours gave me a wee bit of a different picture.

Kiera has what she thought was a perfect life. She’s a graphic designer for a game that she helped a couple of mates develop when they were in College. This game is now extremely popular but is also very time-consuming. It’s not unusual for Kiera to spend days in her pj’s in front of her computer. Her friends Maya and Sophia decide enough is enough and force her to step outside. Kiera is happy to do it and talks her friends into going to Comic Con with her. Dressed in her costume, doing what she loves AND keeping her friends happy, nothing could go wrong…

Zach is a paramedic that’s been called to a ceiling collapse during Comic Con. Up to twenty thousand people were inside and could be trapped. It’s all hands on deck to try and save as many as possible. Walking into the building was a sight to behold for poor Zach. There are creatures and characters of all shapes and sizes. Is the blood fake or real? Did that creature lose a limb? This job just got a lot harder…

Things are crazy and it’s getting harder for Zach to work out who’s hurt and who’s not. A beautiful princess catches his eye and he’s drawn to her. She’s a little dazed and agitated which brings Zach’s protective instincts front and centre. There are a lot of people needing his help but he can’t help but keep this woman close to his side. Lucky for him, he soon learns that the princess speaks the language of these creatures and helps him to assess and manage their treatments.

Kiera is worried for her friends, feeling a little unsteady on her feet and a wee bit overwhelmed. When the lovely medic takes her hand and helps her out, she can’t help but cling to him. Together, they do some good and when it’s time to finish up, there’s a connection that neither can deny. It’s kind of a shame, but also lucky for Kiera that at the end of his shift she blacks out in his arms…

Completely Yours is about a man who has been on a path to helping as many people as he can. You could pretty much say that Zach has a hero complex. His path was set many years ago when he was saved by a brave man and he knows he wants to be just like that. Zach’s family has recently had grief land them low and he’s trying to help his sister Aimee and parents get past their grief. He wants to help them but he feels like he's getting nowhere. His parents don't seem to be improving and the only thing that seems to have Aimee's attention is a computer game…that his princess helped design.

Kiera is coming to realise that by avoiding heartbreak and emotional conflict, she's also avoiding life. Her friends are there for her with no questions asked but she sees now that she could be helping them more. Putting Zach on the temporary shelf could have led her to miss one of the most remarkable things to happen in her life.

Both Zach and Kiera are good for each other. They help each other look outside the bubble they’ve created and see what else is on offer.

I enjoyed Completely Yours but I will admit to finding times that I rolled my eyes. The main characters were just a little too perfect in their imperfections. Turns out that most of their problems were not really problems at all. Zach just needed to mind his own business and Kiera just needed to actually take note of what’s going on around her. I think we can all identify with either of those issues.

To be honest, I think it was the lack of surprise that made this not reach a five-star rating. I could guess easily what was going to happen before it happened.

All good. I enjoyed the teaser for Maya’s story and will definitely be keeping an eye out for it in the future.

My first read from Erin Nicholas was a success! I adored this story and these character and Completely Yours was the epitome of a good contemporary romance. It made me happy that I've started to read these again.

I really liked Kiera and Zach together and their relationship was definitely believable. It was clear that they were better people with one another and I even liked them better together than I did apart. I couldn't help but love how Zach broke the shell that Kiera had around her heart and made her start living life.

Their story is the type that will leave a permanent smile on your face and just overall make you happy while you read this. Overall, this is a must read and I hope many people will have this on their kindles to read. It would be the perfect book for when you need a break this upcoming holiday weekend.

Zach Ashley doesn't see himself as a hero but he spends every day of his life trying his best to save others as a paramedic. When Zach gets called to the scene of a huge accident at the comic con site the last thing he expected was to meet the girl of his dreams dressed in a costume when Zach is completely against gaming.

Kiera Connelly is a quiet graphic designer that is perfectly happy to spend all of her time locked in her room either helping design the virtual world of the game she plays or playing along with her online friends. With her friends injured in the accident and no where to turn she finds herself being saved by a real life knight when Zach offers to care for her and finds that the two share and undeniable attraction even with them being so different.

Completely Yours is the first book of the Opposites Attract series with of course two main characters that couldn't be anymore opposite of one another. Zach is the outgoing, need to be in control and help whomever he can type while Kiera is more the push others away and run when things get tough type. The two have instant chemistry though and through their time together they come to find that they have more in common than once thought.

The story begins with a huge accident which was enough to grab my attention and drag me into this story rather quickly. I also loved that the characters in this story had time to grow together and seemed to make each other better people than they were. Zach having the issues with his family needed Kiera just as much as she needed him to learn to trust making this one feel good story.

I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley.

I'm always on the hunt for sorbet and I loved the premise for this book.

Kiera and Zach are perfect opposites. They're both really good people, but that's where the similarity ends. She's a bit of a loner who loves to cosplay and he's a bit pushy with a hero complex. Together they have ridiculous amounts of chemistry. I truly enjoyed being in their heads and reading them learn and grow.

This plot line was almost all fluff, which is my favorite. The small amount of angst was dealt with quickly and in the most satisfying way.

Overall, it was a quick and cute read. I would have loved more from the epilogue, but I'll definitely be looking for more in the series.

This was such a sweet story, so fun and flirtatious. I loved it! Zach had me totally swooning. It's just one of those stories that makes your heart feel full and leaves a smile on your face. :-)

I loved how Zach and Kierra met. It was under such an odd and disastrous circumstance but somehow it was really entertaining too. They were just both so likeable and genuine, and they had awesome chemistry. Kierra was so endearing and I loved watching her put herself out there bit by bit and really open up. Zach was incredibly witty and charming. He also has a serious hero complex going on and is dealing with some past hurt. They just had this heartfelt journey with some really nice bits of emotion woven in as they come together.

Loved the writing. It's playful with a hint of sexy and I was totally into it. There was a really nice build and development happening. It was a lighter read, no major drama, just a really wonderful story about two people coming together. It's a fantastic opposites attract story.

I thought this was a terrific introduction to the series. I adored all the different relationships that were happening. I thought some really great characters were introduced, I loved Kierra's roommates, I'm really excited for Maya's story next. Zach's sister Aimee is just the cutest thing ever.

It was just a totally solid, awesome read for me with this very real and endearing characters. I just loved them connecting, letting their guard down and opening up. I loved the romance of it all. This was just the perfect little story that had me in my happy place! If you’re looking for something light, fun, and sexy, this will be the perfect read!

So, I’ve been sitting here for over 20 minutes trying to find the right words to begin this review, trying to find the exact words to convey exactly how much I loved this book. Completely Yours grabbed me from the beginning and never let go. I didn’t want to put it down, I didn’t want it to end.

I could relate to both Zach and Kiera, probably the most in any book I’ve read. And what’s so unique is that they are complete opposites! I am so much like Zach and how he has this internal need to take on everyone’s troubles and try to fix everything for the ones he loves. And, at the same time, I’m also like Kiera where I want to be in my own bubble, shying away from everything and everyone, just wanting to be alone and protected by my bubble.

The devastation Zach felt and how he reacted when he realized people can and have worked on their own problems/issues without needing his help or even discussing it with him hit home. I, too, went through something similar where I shut down for a period of time because I was taking on so much from everyone else that I was physically suffering. After taking on the same ‘I don’t care anymore, the no one truly needs me’ attitude Zach did, I can relate to Kiera’s need/want to stay in her bubble, to not really, truly open up or fully letting anyone in to keep from getting hurt. The way she loves to disappear in her online world to shut out reality is very similar to what I do with books-they are my escape.

Erin wrote a beautiful story of these two completely opposite people meeting in a tragic situation, both unable to deny their connection, and the steps they go through learning to both open up and to let go. Learning and realizing they are not always right in how they view things, learning to see and accept how others see things as well– understanding things are not always black and white and how to see all the colors.

Completely Yours is full of the ‘feels’ we look for in a contemporary romance. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a great romance. I’ve already added it to my make-sure-I-read-again list.

Bravo, Erin. Superb job!

Slick's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

Things that usually make me fall in love with a romance; the couple meets in an unusual way, they seemingly have nothing in common, and the attraction between them is evident from the moment they see one another and Erin Nicholas managed to hit every one of these elements in her latest book, the first in her Opposites Attract series, Completely Yours. An introverted cos-playing, gaming heroine, an extroverted EMT with a love of basketball come together and find that despite their very different lifestyles, they do have something in common and it isn't just their mutual attraction.

It's hard to sum up Zach Ashley because he comes off as a super confident, competent EMT with an air of cockiness, but as this book unfolds it becomes apparent there is way more underneath and his need for control comes from his inability to control a lot that has happened in his life. Zach has some real issues and to be honest, my one complaint about this book would be I wondered if he ever got any outside help to deal with the things he couldn't control that happened in his life. (See unfortunately or rather fortunately this is a "problem" I have with Ms. Nicholas' books, her characters seem so real to me, and I want to know every little thing about them.) Zach is a warrior, he's overcome some serious challenges but he thinks he has to save everyone and he refuses to rely on anyone for help. A character flaw for sure, but he's just so damn admirable it is easy to overlook it.

Gaming is Kiera Connolly's life; as a graphic designer and one of the creators of Leokin a very popular and growing game, she prefers being holed up in her home either working or gaming, but when her roommates insist she must go out, they go to Comic Con she just doesn't expect for them all to end up in the hospital or for her to meet an EMT that not only hates the game she helped create, but knows nothing about gaming or cosplay. Kiera's life hasn't been easy; an unusual upbringing and a best friend who betrayed her and also refused to listen to her warning have caused her to not really allow people to get close and the world of gaming has allowed her the freedom to be in control and involved with people even if it is in virtual reality.

While the attraction between them was evident from the beginning, the fact they had very little in common kept them on a slow burn for a long while, but the more time they spend together the more they realize how truly special the other one is especially considering the fact that Kiera is making Zach's sister Aimee smile again. I loved that it took them a while to move to the physical part of their relationship as it allowed them to really get to know one another. I will say I felt Kiera was better at sharing her life with Zach, but I again think that was because he simply couldn't handle what he saw as his failures.

Chocked full of interesting characters from the hero and heroine to the secondary ones, a complex plot, engaging dialog, and a romance between two people who despite their differences found very common ground, I loved every minute of Completely Yours.

I'm in love! This book was too cute and too sweet for its own good. It had the perfect mesh of feels, humor, sexiness and that romance we all desire in a book. And all the better, it's about a geeky gamer girl falling for the hot EMT who saved her life. But that's not all there is, they're both broken in some ways and no matter how much they denied to see it at first, they're more similar than they actually think. They're both carrying problems that tend to have them shy away from building and forming intimacy and relationships with other people.

Zach and Kiera were exactly like magnets. The attraction between them was undeniable and inevitable, not to mention flaring hot. Yet because of the fears they have, they started repelling each other in the beginning, trying their hardest to push away when one wanted to get closer instead. How long will it take for them to work their own kinks out and have the opposite poles finally facing each other?

Zach Ashley has a huge hero complex. Being an EMT, he devoted himself to saving other people, especially those he loves. As long as he sees them smiling and happy, he'll do everything he can. The problem is, he always has to have his way to the point that his friends and family start to get suffocated from him doting on and controlling their lives too much. He just wanted what he thought was best for them and he learned all that the hard way. No matter how broken a part of Zach Ashley is, he's a guy you'd dream about to be your Prince Charming. Your knight in shining armor. He's everything and so much more. He has a huge heart, he's always set out to help and save those in need and he also knows when to get down and dirty. Oh man, does this guy get naughty when he wants to. He's a perfectly flawed man whom you won't be able to resist and can't help but fall for.

Kiera Connolly grew up as a loner. She got so used to it that she was satisfied and okay with just holing up in her room, instead of going out and having fun with friends. But then again, she didn't have any. Until she became the graphic designer of the fastest growing video game franchise in the country, World of Leokin. There she met some of her closest friends, yet she was still hesitant to let them all the way in. She always had her walls up high and bulletproof so she won't get hurt like she had before, when she trusted someone enough just to have her heart broken. She was scared that it'd happen again, but she didn't realize how much it affects her new friendships and relationships. So she just threw herself and her days into working and help making WOL the best game it could be.

Aside from the story of this book, I loved the strong character development Erin Nicholas displayed here. It was all carefully laid out and you'd see the changes in how the characters are as the tale progresses. I just absolutely adored this and the concept of the story. How they began to open their eyes more to reality and accept that not all the time, the right things are what makes people happy. Completely Yours was incredibly fun and hot, even hilarious at times, yet if you look deeper, there are problems underlying all the quirkiness of it too.

Well this book sort of just came out of nowhere for me, and despite not being able to dig into contemporary much lately, this completely won me over. It was so much more than I was expecting. It had a lot of geeky, gaming culture and cosplay and more depth than the cutesy cover would've suggested at first glance. I loved the narrative on the people we meet with and connect to online and how they can help us through in ways that so many "real life" people just don't seem to understand. And, honestly, the final chapter of this book is one of my favorites in most recent memory. It left me giggling and with a huge grin on my face. I'm excited to read more about the rest of the characters and to dive more into this author's extensive backlog.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

4.5* Sweet, hot and meaningful stars - rounded up because the more I think about it, the more I realise how much I enjoyed it!

This is the first book in a new series, and I cannot wait to immerse myself back in the company of this delightful group of interesting people. I did not read the first chapter of book 2 at the end though, because I knew just how frustrated I would be at having to wait for the next story! I do hope Ms Nicholas is busy plotting, so that we get it soon.

Sometimes books which pitch two people at each other in a moment of crisis have an element of drama that never seems real. Here Ms Nicholas has done exactly that and exploited it brilliantly through an online world. I cannot emphasise how cleverly she leads us down a path of reality, to then use the online world to make us laugh, and wait for everything to come together. I am not someone who enters such worlds, but I absolutely get why it happens, and how it can help in times of trouble.

Parallel to this, Keira and Zach live in a world which is far from perfect, and approach it in a very different way - watching them learn about each other, become firmly entrenched in each others' hearts and lives is so enjoyable. They are clearly so right for each other - and yet ...

With a good sized cast, and lots of potential stories in the future, I have a feeling this is one of those series that will become a best friend to be turned to in times of need. So, whilst I would happily reread this immediately, I shall wait until Maya gets her turn, and then indulge in a twofer - Thank you in advance Ms Nicholas!

Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm an Erin Nicholas fan. But, Ms. Nicholas continues to wow me with every book she releases. Completely Yours is first in a new series, Opposites Attract. And do they ever! Kiera, a graphic designer and avid online gamer, fights it, but eventually falls for Zach, a basketball-loving EMT with the need to save... EVERYBODY. How Nicholas weaves together the impossibility with the inevitable happily-ever-after is what I love about her books. You get all of the emotions and a healthy bit of sexy times to boot. Churn them out, Erin Nicholas. I'll read everything you sign your name to.

Outstanding! Erin Nicholas has brought forth a whole new level to her already exceptional romances! It seems that as each new book she writes grows and develops a bit more, the same can be said for each of her new series.
Completely Yours is a fantastic start to her latest. I found myself torn between the feelings of Zach, who has a need to fix everyone and Kiera, who just wants to be left alone in her own little world. Strange, because I am actually a combination of these two, so this wonderful story really hit home at times.
She has some really good secondary characters that I hope to see in future stories.
This was a very entertaining and refreshing read. I would definitely recommend this five star book to anyone that reads contemporary romance. Read and enjoy as Ms. Nicholas takes you on a whole new journey starting out with Zach and Kiera.

Meeting a real life hero at Comic Con?? Bring it on!!

First of all, I would love it had that cover pictured Kiera and Zach in their proper outfit - Kiera in one of her cosplay costumes and Zach in his EMT uniform. It would totally shout out the core of the story! Not that I don't like the current cover already, it's just a thought.

Second of all, how come I've never read a book by Erin Nicholas before? If her books anywhere near this one, I have surely been missing out. The good thing is, this is a first of a new series; so I still have more to look forward to other her other titles!

Completely Yours features a hero-complex EMT and geeky graphic designer Kiera Connelly; who first met when Zach responding to scene at a convention which Kiera attending. The pull of awareness hit and hit hard - I know, I wasn't too impressed with the whole instant attractions, but I forgive them because: circumstances! What's with the disaster of the Comic Con roof collapsed and all - but they were a bit wary acting on it as they realized how totally different they were from one another.

Instant attraction aside, I like how the connection between Zach and Kiera developed. The gamers talk both entertained and baffled me along with Zach, but perhaps because of that I feel sort of a kinship with him that I *might* be heavily taking his side on most of everything here.

So, if there's such a pull between them, are there any scene of passion in the story? Worry not, there's plenty! At least to me it feels plenty since Zach couldn't seem to stop drooling over the geek girl here.

In between sexting and on-hands sexy times, there are deeper issues the characters dealing with, which had me teary-eyed a time or two. There were the family problems, the past betrayals, the hero-complex, fear to get (too) close to be hurt; how sharing all these and open-up turned the initially simple liaison complicated. These moments were what made the bond and feeling between them - as instant as it felt in such a short time - to be real.

That I liked both MCs really helped me to like this book. The secondary characters - among which I'm sure will have their own turn of the limelight in the series - jazzed up the story, even sometimes in a way that I don't care so much. In case you're wondering, I was referring to Zach's sister Aimee that somehow I couldn't warm up to, even to the final page. Others might not agree with me, but I thought of her as ungrateful, selfish sibling who didn't give back as much as she took.

But my biggest discontent lied on the last chapter, especially how this book missing a scene where Aimee apologize to her brother; not to prove who was wrong but for the hurtful words she hurled at him. Also the closing Thanksgiving scene was too farfetched to my way of thinking. Throughout this book we saw the wary interactions Zach and his sister had, but never about his parents. No backstory whatsoever what moved his parents to renew an effort. The whole thing seems being done just for the sake of giving a perfect ending to the story.

In spite of my resentment to the Ashley clan, this was an endearingly sweet and touching story. I really look forward what the author had in store for the next book.

If you are looking for a romantic book to put a smile on your face, then this is the book for you. Completely Yours was a fluffy and adorable novel. I had a smile on my face throughout the majority of this book. I am so excited to continue with this series!

I really loved the main female character, Kiera. Kiera was introverted, geeky, and so sweet. I really enjoyed being in her head and geeking out along with her throughout the story. It was fun to have the main character be on the geekier side! I loved learning about Kiera's cosplay and her online gamer life. Zach was a typical heroic male. He was sexy, charming, and very outgoing. He really did seem to be the opposite of Kiera, but they actually worked so well with each other. It was really sweet to watch them expose each other to new things and watch them grow together. The romance was so precious and adorable. I loved it!

The chemistry between Kiera and Zach also lead to some very steamy moments that I also enjoyed. ;)

This book was low on drama and angst, which I was thankful for. The drama and angst that was there got solved in a quick manner that made me very happy!

There were a lot of side characters that I really enjoyed! The author made sure not to skip out on writing charming and funny side characters. I liked their development throughout this story, and I am excited to see them develop even more in the next books.

Overall, this was a cute and heartwarming book. If you are in the mood for a fluffy and adorable romance novel, then I would recommend that you check this book out!

Adored this quirky, fun, emotionally engaging, sweetly sexy opposites attract romance that had the IT geek in me thoroughly entertained from beginning to end.

Kiera Connelly is sweet, off the charts smart and a total introvert (I can relate). Zach Ashley is a sexy EMT with a total hero complex that wants to fix everything. They are so opposite and yet they bring out the best in each other, enjoyed the beck and forth struggle between them. Highly entertaining snuggled on the couch reading a good book read.

When I read the second book of the series last week, I liked it so much that I did something I never do: I ordered this one even before I finished the other because it was just that good. But before beginning this one, I told myself book 2 was sooooo good, no way this one could be as wonderful. Well, I was wrong. It was just as entertaining, swoon worthy, funny, well written and with memorable characters as book 2. I found the same great vibe and good dialogues that I enjoyed in Forever Mine.

When I began this book about a geek/gamer/graphic designer of video games and an EMT with a hero complex, it made me thought right away about the time I saw the most beautiful/sexy/sweet guy I've ever seen. A nurse at the hospital and as cliché as it was, I puked in front of him. Don't know why I feel the need to tell this anecdote but anyway :p I think it might be the fact Zach Ashley was so lovable and charming. And he's not just a sweet guy. He's got a protective side that add more intensity to his character.

Imagine your an EMT and got a call because part of the ceiling crashed to the floor at Comic Con. Pretty chaotic right ? It also mean examine people in all kind of odd costumes and more difficulty because you have to figure out which part of the red junk is real blood or paint and is that a dislocated bones or some kind of horns ?

What a great way to start the book and to make your H/h meet. Meeting a guy when disaster happened will certainly leave a strong impression on a girl. Being rescued by him is a great way to start a relationship, but it's his smooth charm, his sexy grin and his warm personality that will really seduced her. There's an instant connection between Kiera and Zach, but they both hesitate to explore more than a friendship. Kiera swore she would never again try to change and confine her passion for the video games world, but Zach doesn't know anything about this world, expect that he kind of hate it because his sister became addicted to it and spend more time in the virtual than with him. The fact Zach demanded his sister live with him because the family situation is not stable is an other testimony to his great guy persona. Kiera is going to help Zach to connect with his sister and also make him realize it's not his duty to save everyone. Zach is going to make her come out of her shell and open up to her entourage.

This book showed also one of the greatest thing in life about love : that it can broaden your horizons and you can take interest in something you didn't like before and didn't want to try, just to please the one you love and have something to share with them. It's even better when the two person make an effort and not just the same one.

It's genius how the author decided to address the outcome after the separation near the end.

There's just one tiny detail that bothered me. Unless I was distract and missed it, how did Kiera met Sophie and Maya ? They are her best friends and she live with them. For me it's important to know, especially since we're gonna see them again.

This book contain all the elements I like in my romance : sweet, sexy, fun, soothing, emotions, attraction, flirting.

If you are a book fanatic and haven’t read Erin Nicholas, you are definitely missing out in reading an amazingly talented writer! She is known to pen some mesmerizing stories with some awesome characters, with doses of emotions and thoughtfulness and some wickedly sinful passion that is out of this world!!!!

A new series, new characters and a new level of narration, completely engrossing, completely charming and completely engaging is “Completely Yours”, book one of Erin Nicholas’s new series “Opposites Attract”.

I’ll save you the spiel on the story, and give my two cents as to what caught my attention and why I really, really, really liked, no loved this story, Zach Ashley and Kiera Connelly all together. The whole concept of meeting at a Comic-Con and weaving in a disaster to bring EMT Zach racing over to help and having Kiera support him with her comic-con language is a delicious treat to read.

Developing Zach as the guy who wants to fix all problems, be in the middle of everything, wanting to know everything that happens with his family, always in control of a situation, takes patience, immense creativity and a brilliant narration to pass it on to the readers via words and thoughts. To his ying, Erin brings in Kiera as the yang, calm and collected, reserved and introvert, a gaming fanatic who actually is the creator of a popular online game, understands the nuances of life, of letting people solve their own problems and that caring for the ones we love doesn’t mean to suffocate them and solve all their issues.

“Completely Yours” is one of Erin’s finest writing so far as she takes Zach through his frustrations and insecurities, giving Kiera a guy who cares very much with a heart of gold and would lay down his life for loved ones, and most importantly weaving in the fact that an online game can be a platform of healing for so many people out there, sharing fears and issues, with no judgments.

And to be honest, reviews do not do justice to Zach Ashley, Kiera Connelly and their creator Erin Nicholas – this story is to be read to fully enjoy the impact of the dialogue, humor, relationships and the chemistry between all characters and as Zach and Kiera work out their own relationship….maybe with the help of a fictional world!

Very well played Erin Nicholas!

The sub-title of the series is "Opposites Attract" so I was expecting opposites. Unfortunately, I never really believed the attraction with Kiera, a game designer into cosplay, and Zach, an EMT with a hatred of the gaming lifestyle that he feels is destroying his younger sister's life.

I was hoping for more. A lot of the book felt one dimensional to me, as if the author was using the idea that Kiera was a geek as all of her character. There were moments where a personality was apparent...but for the most part, I felt the stereotype of who Kiera should be, because she is a gamer, was all of who she was. She hit all of the stereotypes, but had none of the nuance that the people who game (I know a few) have in my personal life...so I found that I was not able to connect with her completely. This pulled me out of the story.

I also thought the solution andsituation with his sister and family was resolved too easily for the depth of it. And, I thought his reaction at the end was childish and was actually a bit of a turn off for me. I felt like I was watching the temper tantrum of a child.

That said, I finished this instead of DNF as I liked the premise and I had a lot of hope. Unfortunately, that hope was not realized for this one.

I am not able to recommend this book.

Favorite Quotes:

‘I should warn you, she finally said. ‘I’m immune to charm.’ ‘You got a shot or something?’ he asked.

Zach tried to picture Aimee sitting around and stitching. As far as he knew, his sister believed clothes magically showed up in the mall, waiting for her and her credit card to rescue them.

My Review:

This was my virgin voyage with Erin Nicholas and it was a sweet and steamy cruise with likable characters and a relevant, current, and interesting storyline. There was an interesting twist of the male character being the nurturing type and the female being the one who kept others at a distance as she believed getting involved with people was “messy.” I enjoyed the fun and easy banter the main characters shared as well as their quirks and flaws as they each find a “new normal” they had not been looking for or ever expected. Written from a third person POV, the narrative was highly descriptive as well as observant, insightful, easy to follow, and amusing. I knew next to nothing about Comic Con, cosplay, or gaming before I started, but I didn’t need to, it was an easy and enjoyable read that also taught me quite a bit about those topics along the way.

I struggled to put in to words what I feel about this book. I at first thought it was because I was sick and just at a loss for words. So i did a reread this book is one i can relate to on both spectrums from Zack's point of view and Kiera's. Having lost a sister in circumstances I couldn't control . To being the introvert geek that rather be at home then out and about with friends. keeping people at an arms length. This book took me on a roller coaster of emotions and even made me cry. The feelings Zack has for his sister Josie who passed on and the need to fix everything hit me to the core So deep. This book was so eye opening to feelings I didn't realize I had till i read them on paper with characters that just knew. Erin Nicholas has away of making geeky sexy Grief become tolerable and knowing that moving on and love is ok. Zack is my new favorite hero. Can't wait for more of this series

Cute and fluffy, like a Hallmark movie with your second two favorite leads.

While I felt chemistry between Kiera and Zach, this didn't feel like a romance that needed 280 pages. Much of the troubles between the two could be solved fairly quickly if the added obstacles of Zach's hero complex (as in he needs to fix everything so everyone is happy) and family issues weren't in the mix. Neither of which I think were important enough to derail the romance as often as they did.

4.5 stars -- I received a free copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest and unbiased review/opinion.

I don't know what it was about this book, but I just really fricking enjoyed myself. I do believe this is my first book by this author, but it definitely won't be my last. Her characters were funny, honest, and complex, and I can tell you I ended the book just laughing out loud.

Obviously characters are where it's at for me, and we have a pair of unique creatures with Zach and Kiera. They were both so fundamentally flawed and dealing with their own problems, it was a treat to watch them start to compromise and truly LEARN from each other and become better people as a result of being together. I really enjoyed that aspect of the story. It's what made the opposites attract story work so well in this case...they really were HONEST TO GOODNESS opposites in SO MANY WAYS, but they helped each other understand the other side of things, and become more well rounded as a result.

And of course I'm going to love a story with a bit of geek flair in it. Occasionally I would get annoyed with Zach's judgemental ways, but I guess that made his transformation that much more satisfying. I loved that this story dealt with all the pros and cons of both being an introvert (Kiera) and being an extrovert (Zach) and how they could come together.

And they definitely had chemistry!! I really felt how they were drawn together physically initially, and how that changed and you felt how they were drawn together as more as well.

This story also deals with some very raw topics, particularly looking at the different ways in which people deal with grief. I definitely teared up at some points, particularly Zach's story about how he decided to become an EMT. And it was done so well.

And what a great ending. I didn't expect the ending, and I thought it was a perfect healing for Zach. And then the epilogue was hilarious. I kind of want to see more from Pete!

Will definitely be looking for the next book in the series, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Completely Yours is my very first books by Erin Nicholas. I have heard so many amazing things about Erin Nicholas books, so when I got a chance to read this book early I was thrilled and dived into this story as quickly as I could and I absolutely loved it !. Completely yours was any excellent start to the Opposite Attracts series.

In this book we follow Kiera and Zach. I could feel the chemistry between these two almost immediately .At first you look at them and you see two complete opposites , but as you read this story you see more and more ways of how perfect they are for each other (do you see what did there ? lol and If you didn't please look at the name of the series again lol ) I loved every sweet , sexy , heartwarming moment we spent with Kiera and Zach. I loved how cosplay and the online gamming where incorporated in this book, it was so cool.I could go on and on about things I loved about this books , the romance was sweet and sexy, I loved all of the characters and of course as I mentioned before all the cosplay and the online gamming just made this book even more awesome. Everything came together to formed a wonderful story.

Completely Yours was sexy , swoon worthy , funny , heartwarming story. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in the Opposite Attracts series I just know its going to fantastic. If you love all these things in your books I suggest you pick up a copy when It comes out December 20, 2016

Admittedly I am a huge Erin Nicholas fan but even I gotta say she outdid herself with COMPLETELY YOURS, the first book in her new series, Opposites Attract. This is my absolute favorite book from her so far. I just loved geeky Kiera and hero-to-the-bone Zach! Ms. Nicholas had me hooked from the very first chapter where they meet when Zach, a charming EMT, is called in as part of the rescue team when the roof collapses at a convention for online gamers and finds a stunned and slightly injured Kiera, in gold body paint and a princess warrior custume. He knows nothing about why she's in costume, but he can't take his eyes off this beautiful woman. And so this fantastic story of two complete opposites attracting and saving each other begins. The storyline was delightful, the characters fully developed and impossible not to love them, and then their family and friends added so much to the story. I loved the slow building of their romance as Zach worked to win over the reclusive Kiera... and then the incredibly sensual and steamy intimate moments between them. Add to all this the wonderful wit, engaging dialogue, and overall happy feeling you get while reading this love story and you have a winning story I would recommend for every romance lover! 5 stars

Have you ever started a book thinking you know exactly whats going to happen and then you have to eat crow because you were so wrong? Well that happened to me with Completely Yours by Erin Nicholas.
I have purchased and read ALL of Mrs. Nicholas' books and she continues to surprise me with every book.
I went into Completely Yours expecting that Zach was going to be the typical Alpha Man, Hot EMT, who would save the geeky Kiera and make me swoon while doing all of this. Ok so I was a little right because Zach totally made me swoon and he was an Alpha Guy and Hot EMT.
HOWEVER Geeky Kiera didn't need Zach to save her at all! It was almost the exact opposite. Zach needed Kiera to save him from his Alpha Stubborn ways. Kiera was also able to help Zach's sister Aimee. Who ever said Geeks don't contribute?
As a self proclaimed uber Nerd I have a massive girl crush on Kiera. While she has a few tendencies that are frowned upon from "normal" society, (I would kill to not have to deal with people and work in my PJ's all day), she is living the life many people wish they could. She had an amazing job that she is passionate about, has friends who care and ends up falling in love with the Hot,Hunky Zach.
I cannot wait to read the next book in Erin Nicholas' newest hit series

Loved this book. What do a EMT/firefighter and a nerdy girl have in common?
Maybe more then you think. Zach finds his answer when he sees the gold shoe..who it belongs to. Prettty hot to say the least. But she's stuck when the roof at the Comic Con Convention collapsed. She was lucky.
Zack finds himself thinking crazy things. She's a victim and he's got to check her out.
One vital mistake won't be good.

What comes next is anyone's guess. It gets really interesting when he learns more about her.
They actually understand each other.

Highly recommended.
