This volume starts of with some major info jumping that I did not like. Also, I feel like there was a change in the art style. Everything seems pointy. Especially faces (mouth, eyes, etc) Even clothing angles! Maybe I just missed it in past 3 columes but is was glaringly obvious in this volume and put me off on the art quite a bit.
Major battle scene and Benio makes a shocking choice! That and training makes up the whole volume. Not much goes on but the end left me eager for the next volume even with the less than thrilling bumps I discovered.

Certaines scenes me rappellent un peu trop D. Gray-Man sans que je ne sois autant investi que je pouvais l’être dans le manga de Katsura Hoshino. Ça n’est pas mauvais, mais parfois, j’ai l’impression de lire une fanfic de DGM, aussi bonne soit-elle.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am officially in love with this series! Holy crap, what an awesome volume! The action was intense, the characters were fucking awesome, the Basara from before, Kamui, got some characterization so I don't hate him as much now, and Yuto got the ever-loving shit kicked out of him by our dynamic duo (though Benio stole the show towards the end, I fucking love her new legs!). Seriously, even the bonus story at the end was hilarious and adorable! I wish I could say more, but I'd be here all day analyzing and gushing over every facet of this volume that I adored (which was pretty much all of it). I mean it, if you haven't tried this series yet, please do! It is totally worth it for the action alone! I cannot wait to continue this series, I am so fucking hyped!

Rokuro and Benio finally get around to truly training together and seeing how they can complement each other. When they end up heading after Yuto they find that their work has been both better or worse than they could have expected.
While the action and pacing stay high it's the character development of both Benio and Yukio as a team and as individuals that makes the volume stand out. Plenty of people write manga with visually impressive fight scenes, hell if that was all it took nearly every shonen manga would be a classic. But both Benio and Yukio are believably and touchingly abrasive, kind, insecure, confident, strong, weak, etc. They're fully fleshed out characters and we see them coming together in so many satisfying ways that defy stereotypes not by intentionally rejecting them but by individualizing the characters and making the growth happen because of who the character is when they experience certain things, instead of because it's time or because the plot demands it.

I'm just so glad that this story is getting explained so much better than the anime. Within these first few volumes, we have more context for Kegares, Magano, and even the exorcists themselves that the anime just expected you to understand and accept. The bonus chapter at the end was especially cute-I wasn't a fan of the relationship (or rather, the forced, arranged marriage) idea in the beginning, but as they develop the characters and plot, I really adore Benio and Roku. They are so cute in their "I hate you but secretly I kind of like you" quips.

I read this manga long time ago. Almost 6 years ago.
I used to have strong attachment to this book because Twin Star Exorcists was the first anime I watched in Japanese. Also, this is my only manga book till date.
6 years ago, if you would ask me about the plot, I would say no anime is better than this. You always have the sentiments with your firsts. Today, as I have grown older and have been exposed to more variety of plots and genres, my view on this book has changed. It is very average. I would not say it is bad, but not particularly thought or awe-inspiring.

I love the determination Roku and Benio show <3 And the fact that they're realising that they need each other.
I liked how Benio's a real sassy girl, and how she doesn't fulfil everyone's views of a 'nice Japanese wife' with the way she can't cook or do house duties, but I love how she tries for him! But she also sticks up for herself.

We start the volume off with a huge infodump of how combat works, with special focus on talismans.
I guess it's because of the monthly schedule, but the training to fight Yuto is mercifully brief.
Both leads show new powers in the big fight.

El dibujo del autor resalto mucho en este tomo, en especial en las escenas de acción, cada vez me gusta mas la pareja de Rokuro y Benio, aunque el villano no me convence, es un malo por es malo y tener todo el poder, me gusta como se desarrolla la historia.

I missed a couple volumes, but this was still interesting to read. Since I’ve read the first one, I at least knew some things about it.
The twin stars begin a battle with Benio’s evil brother. The two have very little time before the battle begins, but they train hard. Rokuro is still new to being an exorcist, much more than Benio, but he tries hard, and he is strong. Still, Yuto is a stronger opponent.
The battle is violent. It’s really bad, and really cruel, more than I expected. But that also led up to a surprising change for Benio. I liked her decision, both her reason for making it and the way it turned out. It was risky, but I think it was for the better, really.
I’m surprised with how strong the bond between Benio and Rokuro is. I didn’t think that their fate of being married would actually progress into something very fast, but it’s clear that even if they’re fighting their fate, they do like each other and trust each other as partners. I like that. Their banter is cute, too. The humor is pretty good in this series, the moments it’s used when not serious.
This is a surprisingly enjoyable series to read. I can see why it was picked up, and kind of wouldn’t mind reading more, even if I don’t love the battles.

Rokuro and Benio begin to train in the underground training room and Rokuro learns about enchantments and they determine that using their resonance is the only way that they stand a chance against Yuto. It's finally the desired time and they enter Magano in order to fight Yuto and unfortunately they are still no match for him, with Yuto destroying Benio's legs in the process of the battle but Benio does the unexpected and makes a deal with Kamui (the Basara) in order for him to give her new legs (just like Rokuro's arm).
The volume was off to a slow start but when they finally arrived in Magano the paced picked up drastically and took a turn for the better. The next volume should be interesting to watch unfold.

An intense battle volume. First part has Benio and Rokuro practicing the new attack they can work together. Then the big battle with Benio's brother takes up the rest of the volume. He taunts them and wants more than just to kill them. They are surprised to find how strong he is and Benio ends up making a life or death decision which changes her life forever. The action and seriousness is lightened slightly by the usual bickering and hidden feelings between the two exorcists. Good volume.
