Cotton

Becoming President of the Satan’s Fury MC was a bittersweet moment for Cotton. When his Uncle Saul died, he passed the gavel down to him, and while Cotton took his death hard, he immediately assumed the role with integrity and pride. He considered leading his brothers an honor, and the MC quickly became his main focus… until the day Cassidy walked into his bar and became a distraction he could not deny. She captivated him in a way no other woman ever had. He tried to resist her—to keep his walls up—but it was futile. It always seemed like she saw right through him. All it took was one night of passion with her, and he knew he’d never be able to get enough. He was determined to have her.

He thought he had it all figured out. He thought he could let his walls down and have it all… until his past suddenly came crashing into his future.

Cassidy

When Cassidy walked into a room, all eyes were immediately drawn to her. She exuded a beauty and youthful energy that lit a spark in everyone she met. She was a woman who knew what she wanted and was willing to wait for it. The minute she met Cotton, she was drawn to him. He was older, more mature, and so good-looking he took her breath away. Where most people only saw a hardened MC president, she saw a man who lived his life with strength and determination, filled with an unwavering sense of loyalty, and who had earned the admiration and respect of his brothers. She longed for Cotton, to be close to him. So when he began to let her in, she didn’t hesitate.

She wanted him—all of him. In his arms, she felt safe and protected. She trusted him with her heart… until he broke it, nearly destroying her in the process.

Can she ever learn to trust him again?

Cotton is the fourth book in the Satan’s Fury MC series. It is intended for readers 18 and older due to bad language, violence, and explicit sex scenes.

Cotton is a standalone romance, but you may also be interested in reading the other books in the series: Summer Storm, Maverick, and Stitch.

This was a nice, fast book to read. I enjoyed getting to see Cotton and Cassidy finally together, and I liked the sweet times between them. It wasn't my favorite in the series, but I did like it and would recommend this series to and MC lovers.

3 stars"

This book was a nice reading. It was a low angst book with 2 good characters and some steamy scenes. It was easy but nothing special, I liked "Stitch" better but that doesn't mean it wasn't good. It was just a short story with the Prez of Satan's Fury MC having some issues with his past coming back and trying to mess with this club and his girl.

"I've tried to stay away...though it was the best way to protect you. I though I wasn't good for you. I wanted you to have only the best, but I can't do it anymore.I'm just too selfish."

Cotton was Satan's Fury MC Prez and he had too many responsibilities and some serious things going on...He wanted Cassidy but tried to stay away because he thought he was protecting her...

"You're my favorite part of my day, Cass. Just one look at you,
and the rest of the world just fades away.

Cassidy was the Satan's Fury MC's bar-woman and had feelings for Cotton. They had some sweet moments but they were afraid to show their true feeling...Until they couldn't take it anymore...

"I want you..all of you. Your taste, your smell, the feel of your body next to mine,
and I won't spend one night in this bed without it."

They were some stuff going on but in the end everything returned the way it was. Cotton and Cass opened up and found their HEA. I liked the end, it was really sweet. They were a good couple!

"I love you, Cass."
"I love you too. With all of my heart and soul."

Enjoy!xxx

Well... It's safe to say I liked this one the least of the first two in the series, Maverick (Satan's Fury MC, #1) by L. Wilder and Stitch (Satan's Fury MC, #2) by L. Wilder .

I couldn't connect to either character and the story kind of fell flat for me. There wasn't much going on. There was so much build up for there to be some good action with what a creeper his cousin was but it was over so soon and very anticlimactic. What a shame too. It had great promise that could have taken this to a much darker and edgier route. Unfortunately, like the other books, this one was just too safe and vanilla for my tastes when it comes to a good biker book.

Cotton is the president. I expected him to be more of a badass and to be an Alpha. He was stubborn and bossy. But that's about it. He didn't do it for me. He was just too nice. Ugh! That's the worse in a biker book. He had no edge. Then there was Cassidy who just was blah. I didn't like or dislike her. I just found her forgettable.

I'll probably read the next in the series since I like Stitch's story. Maverick's book was OK too. So hopefully the next one will be the best.

For those who don't like a lot of blood and the rougher biker reads, this series is for you. Happy reading dolls! xx

Loved Cotton and Cass's story. It was pretty straight forward with a dash of suspense and drama. Now, I say a "dash" because for me, I wanted to have a bit more angst and there were a few things that definitely could have amped up the angst factor to add a bit more to their story but that was where it fell short for me. The storyline was great, the characters all were fantastic and it flowed perfectly but for me, I would have liked a little bit more "excitement", I think Cotton got off fairly easy and quick and Cass could have stood her ground more. I guess that part was over and done with fairly quickly leaving me wanting more from that whole part.....sounds crazy I know but again just wanted more excitement to their story.

All in all, another GREAT book in this series and I can't wait for more. Clutch's story is next and I am dying to see what will be in store for him in the love department!

Congrats Author L. Wilder on another fantastic story in this truly great series:)

I love books written in male POV, but this one did not work for me.

The hero starts with a prologue about a situation with a Sara. Well, the reader finds out more about the hero and Sara later. (Not for me)

Then the hero and heroine already know each other when the story starts. I prefer when I see the couple initially meet and see how they fall in love. If I don't see their initially meeting, then I have to feel something. I felt nothing. I don't think Cotton (the hero) even liked Cassidy (the heroine). The whole thing with the ex-girlfriend and other stuff just felt "miserable" and not in the angsty/drama kind of way that I crave.

I loved the cover and I liked the sound of the premise, but the rest did not feel right.
You may love this, but it did not work for me.

Wish I had more shelves...
Wishy washy hero
Pushing away the heroine after sleeping with her - many times = doormat heroine
Embarassing her in front of his ex

Luckily the ex did not want him so the drama was his asshole behavior

This book is lucky it got 2 stars. I did NOT like Cotton. I could actually forgive him for being an asshole in the hospital. But the year before? No way!!!

Cassidy needed to move on from this indecisive jerk.

Cotton is the Prez of Satan's Fury MC and after reading his story, there is no one better suited to handle that responsibility. He has every quality that I THINK a good MC leader should possess: mutual respect for his brothers; intelligent decision making; strong-willed in body and mind; loyal to a cause; badass alpha who has nothing to prove to anyone; commands with just with a look; possessive and dominating; a father figure who puts his club first and foremost; mature, panty-melting, swoon worthy and smoking hot; and last, human enough to realize his mistakes.

With all those qualities in his back pocket, why is it that he can't get a handle on his relationship with Cass? How can all those traits that a man in his position owns be readily accepted and looked up to by his club but misunderstood or not tolerated by her? I feel that Cassidy, who has been around club life a while, should know her place well enough with Cotton to realize that he has her best interest at heart. Did he say some stupid things? Yeah, maybe, but you'll have to be the judge and decide if the attitude fits the crime! I still say that Wren (Stitch's woman) is my all time fav.

I loved how Cotton has so much involvement with many of the club members. Stitch, Doc, Smokey, Guardrail, and (lots of) Maverick & Henley. Clutch steals the show ~ I know a storyline wrapped around him could be extremely hot and possibly heartbreaking. The brotherhood and camraderie of the guys in Satan's Fury MC is so strong because all of them have each other's back and bring something to the table. Leslie Wilder has something really special going on here with this series. Solid storyline, attention to detail, impeccable grammar, and characters to swoon over, have easily made this another five star read for me. I received this ARC for an honest review, and honest it is.

Love the cover- but the story. I couldn't find a real connection with Cassidy and Cotton. I didn't buy Cotton's feelings for her, if anything- you would think there was no real love lost between them. I was very much over all things Sara related. Really- that was frustrating, and what made me not believe in Cassidy and Cotton. I loved Clutch- and my heart goes out to him. Glad we see he has his own story.

Another good ride in the series. The story catch you form the first page and don't let you go.

From the beginning, despite the danger from the past looming over the club, Cassidy and Cottons connection was beautiful to watch. I loved how they where with each other. But at the same time, I couldn't help but feel apprehensive and wait for another shoe to drop.

And I wasn't wrong. It was a hard few moments for both Cotton and Cass. I had to say honestly, that this was one of those moments, when a hero fucks up, but I'm not exactly pissed at him. Yes, I wasn't happy with him and I felt the pain of Cass, but I could understand, not accept Cotton actions, but understand why would he do that. I don't think there would be a lot of people who would act differently in the similar situations. It's kinda a common reaction. A reaction you can expect in this situation.

I had to confess, that I was a little disappointed in Cass at that moment. Well, maybe not disappointed exactly, but... What I'm trying to say is that, I understand she was hurt and felt a little betrayed by Cotton actions. But Cass let her hurt feelings to overshadow everything else. In my opinion, she give to it too easily. She needed to see through her hurt to his. To remember that when someone is hurting, they push people away, that care about them. Cass needed to put more fight, to be more pushy with Cotton. But she left all decisions in Cottons hands to made. So, they both made decisions that affected theirs relationship. The question is, would they be able to find theirs path in each other arms again. Or will let theirs fears and hurts to control them.

In all, I loved Cotton. He was all alpha. Strong, loyal, and sweet when it needs to be. He just needs stop thinking, that he always needs to be the strong one. He needs to learn, that sometimes it's okay to lean on others for support.
Cass she was a strong person with a giving heart. She just needs more to let out her spirit to fight for what she wants and needs.

I think I gave you something to chew on. Lol. Stop speculate here and go grab this book. Because this ride will give you anything you need for a good few hours. Angst, swetness, apprehension, some action and for sure hot alpha bikers.

This is the third book in the Satan’s Fury MC Series by L. Wilder. I was so excited to read about Cotton because I’m always curious about the President of the club.

I liked Cotton by himself but I didn’t like him with Cassidy. I would’ve liked for him to end up with someone else. I have a soft spot for Clutch which is the main reason I don’t like Cass. I honestly don’t understand what either guy found so intriguing about her.

Also I was pretty bored while reading this and ended up skipping pages. If I wasn’t such a psycho I should’ve just skipped it and went on to Clutch’s book.

Honestly when I realized this was yet another book where the older H ends up with some twenty-something, I almost just quit it right then. I am SO sick of this trope, I mean to the point now I try to find out this information before I even consider reading a book. It is used to death for some reason and I for one am sick of it seeming that women in their own age range just aren’t good enough, or maybe it’s they need some bubble head twit they can boss around and treat like shit.

Also the fact that Cass was sister to the moron known as Henley had me thinking she would probably not impress me, especially after a great heroine like Wren. Well that and I knew Henley would have to be mouthing off since this was about her sister, I actually forgot about that but was quickly reminded of it, unfortunately.

I kept going mostly to find out more about the ongoing MC troubles. I figured I wouldn’t give two shits about the romance between Cass and Cotton, and I didn’t. Getting more background about Cotton and Derek’s past was interesting and just how long this hate and resentment had been festering, as well as why. I was disappointed Cotton and Sara hadn’t stayed together and even more disappointed that they didn’t get back together…..I pretty much skimmed anything about Cass and Henley or Cass, that whole headache thing when reading about Henley in Maverick’s book was coming back so I just couldn’t….

To say I was disappointed in this one after how great Stitch’s book was would be an understatement. I didn’t feel a thing between Cass and Cotton, at all. Now Cotton and Sara on the other hand with their history I actually felt something for them and their lost love but alas it was the young twit in the end. Oh well poor Maverick is really stuck with her moron sister now and Cotton is stuck with the whiny “older” sister. I’m over it…..

WOW JUST WOW!!!!
I don't even know where to start. I loved this book! I've waited not so patiently for this story. To say I'm a Leslie Wilder junkie would be an understatement. I've read everything she has written and have loved each book more then the last. Cotton is no exception. I really loved Stitch and thought it was going to be impossible to top it but Leslie has done it again. Cotton is the perfect balance of tough biker president who will stop at nothing to lead his MC and a sweet loving man who treasures his women and wants to be her everything.
Cass has waited along time for Cotton. But Cotton has also waited along time for Cass even if it was his own doing. I really like these two together and their love story was exceptional.
This story has it all for me. There was laughter and there were tears. There were moments where I found myself holding my breath waiting for what was coming next. I found I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I really like that all our old favorites are still in the thick of things through out the book.
There was definitely a moment in this book that took me totally by surprise. I really had no idea.
I would also like to say that I think I read my most favorite epilogue of all times at the end of this book.
I called myself a Leslie Wilder junkie at the beginning of my review and I totally meant it because as soon as I finished Cotton I was ready for my next fix.
Well done Leslie and as always I can't wait for what's next!

WOW....THIS BOOK BLEW ME AWAY. I LOVED COTTON AND CASS'S STORY. COTTON IS SUCH A STRONG TYPE, AND TELLS MORE WITH HIS FACIAL EXPRESSIONS FOR ME THEN WITH HIS WORDS, BUT WHEN HE DOES SPEAK, I MELT. CASS, I JUST ADORED HER CHARACTER. WE GET TO SEE HER VULNERABLE SIDE, YET SHE IS ALSO A STRONG GIRL. THE FLASHBACK SCENES REALLY SETS UP THIS GREAT LOVE STORY, AND HOW THEY REALLY ARE DESTINED TO BE TOGETHER, AND HOW WE GET TO WHERE THEY ARE IN THE SETTING OF THE STORY. SEEING HOW COTTON GREW UP AND CAME TO BE THE PRESIDENT OF THE MC, WAS ALSO A GREAT SETUP FOR THE STORY AS WELL. HIS MOM CRACKED ME UP WITH PUSHING FOR THE GRANDBABIES, REALLY SHOWED A DIFFERENT SIDE TO COTTON, AND THAT HE IS MORE THAN JUST THE MC PRESIDENT. THE DANGER SURROUNDING THE CLUB IS AT A HIGH, AND THE ACTION L. WILDER DELIVERS IS INTENSE AND HAD ME GRIPPING MY EREADER!!! GETTING TO INTERACT WITH EACH MEMBER OF THE CLUB AND READ ABOUT THEM JUST MAKES YOU WANT TO READ ALL THEIR STORIES THAT MUCH MORE. I AM EAGERLY WAITING FOR CLUTCH'S BOOK, AND AFTER YOU READ THIS BOOK YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHY.

COTTON WAS SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST ANOTHER MC/BIKER STORY....IT SHOWS THERE CAN BE MORE TO THESE TYPES OF BOOKS THAN JUST THE VIOLENCE AND SEX SCENES. THIS STORY DRAWS YOU IN AND YOU MAKES YOU FEEL A PART OF THE STORY, AND YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH EACH AND EVERY CHARACTER YOU READ IN THE BOOK.

WELL DONE L. WILDER!!!!

BRING ON CLUTCH AND THE REST OF THE GUYS!!!!

5 STARS!

Another stellar addition to L Wilder's fantastic Satan's Fury MC series! This book focuses on the long simmering attraction between Satan's Fury president, Cotton, and club bartender, Cassidy. Fans of this series have watched the heat rise between these two, and in this book, it finally boils over!

Cotton is such a dynamic character. In a world where he could easily let the life and danger consume him, he's a steady, loyal and highly regarded president to his club. He's smart, he's not a player and he's had eyes on Cass from the beginning. It finally becomes too much to keep fighting off, despite the dangerous threat swirling around the club, and Cotton gives in to his feelings for Cass. Just as he makes his first move, though, the past rears its head and the consequences of that are far greater than anyone could have anticipated.

Cotton had all he ever wanted within his grasp, but an unforeseen event had him reacting poorly and pushing her away. The question is will Cotton be able to recover all he's lost or did he push her too hard and too far?

Well written and very sexy, L Wilder's second MC series is a fantastic one. I've been waiting eagerly for Cotton's story since we met him in book one, and she didn't let her readers down! I can't wait to see where this series will go next!

This is the third book in the Satan’s Fury MC Series but this is the first book I have read. When I started this I did feel I had missed something as the relationship between Cotton and Cassidy was already established. Not sure if this was picked up in a previous book.

Cotton is the Pres of the MC and older than Cassidy. Now I love age gap romance but for me the distance between Cotton and Cassidy was wide not in just age (which wouldn’t have bothered me) but I felt she was too immature. Surely a woman looking to be his old day needs to have a bit of sass and back bone? So when he orders her away from the hospital I was wanting her to stand her ground and sass right back at him she was going to stay and support her man.

As for the ex-girlfriend, hmm I just don’t get how she was allowed to be around Cotton but his new woman, Cassidy was not? Yes I get he was trying to protect Cass but it just felt weird. Also the time Cotton and Cassidy spent apart just widened the gap even more and I lost all hope of finding some chemistry or connection between the two.

I was really disappointed this did not work for me as I loved the synopsis, the cover (how hot is he?) and the feedback for the other books in the series. Overall an OK read that needed lots more depth, drama and passion (even though there was extreme erotic scenes it didn’t give me passion!) Three stars.

*****Please Don't read this if you haven't read the books before this*****

OK so as we know this book is about Cotton and Cass.

Let me just say that from Book 1 I have Adored Cass. She is beautiful inside and out. Always taking care of everyone, making life easier for everyone that she cares for and I love that she is willing to move mountains for her sister Henley. She really is the perfect Old Lady Material....

I didn't know she had the Hots for Cotton and when I found out this Feisty, Sassy girl had eyes only for out President I was Smiling from ear to ear....

Cotton for obvious reasons but only to him are they obvious, feels he is not good enough for Our Girl. But boy does she show him that she is willing to fight for what she wants.

There are plenty times I wanna slap Cotton or throw something at his head. He makes plenty Dick-headed mistakes. I was just glad our girl knew what he was going through and understood him pulling all those Jackass stunts... Cass is really wise and mature for her age and even when trouble comes to her door she handles it with Maturity.

The steaminess and sexy time in this book was HOT HOT BABY....

Also I love love getting to see all the other couples I have come to love. That was one of my favorite parts....

Can't wait for more of these hot Alpha Bikers and their Naughty Sassy Heroines....

Enjoy Ladies!!!!!

Another awesome and exciting book in the Satan's Fury MC series...Cotton and Cassidy made such an intense couple that my kindle was almost ignited. We get the whole picture in this one...from Cotton's youth and how he came to be President of the MC (it was a long and violent journey, that pitted cousins against each other)... to the current day strong leader who falls for a younger woman he has tried to resist.
There were some funny and sweet parts, some steamy and heated parts and then (as would be expected in a biker book) some very violent and intense action, before all is said and done. Tragedy becomes the catalyst for a destroyed man to fight back from almost losing it all.
I loved Cotton...his spirit, his determination and his loyalty...to not only his "brothers" by blood and by choice, but his lover...the woman who captured his heart as well. I was very lucky to receive an advance copy to read and review and if you have followed the rest of this series, you will want to read Cotton's story. Passionate and thrilling and fulfilling.

Way too much talk about H's ex Sara. That is one of my biggest pet peeves!

Some examples:

Hearing the ex was there to see him is "like a punch to the gut";

"When she finally turned to face me, a thousand memories came rushing back, slamming me right in the gut.."

"..those damn eyes, so fucking blue you'd think they were plucked straight from the sky, were staring at me with such intensity I almost lost my breath."

This is all right after him and heroine have slept together and more or less expressed their feelings. Hero never mentions anything about the heroine.

um... you're kidding right?

I paid money for this half hearted attempt (at best) of a story.... this book is an absolute fkn mess!
I don't, for a minute, believe that the author put any effort into this ... drivel!

Fuck That! if you're going to put your work out there, make sure it's your absolute best. You don't just half heartedly throw a couple chapters together, copy and paste previous sex scenes and hope for the best ... that is 4 hours of my life I will never get back again!

I think my eyes are bleeding

I was looking forward to Cotton's story since I have read the previous books in this series. It was a very good story but just a little to predictable to me. The book could be read as a stand alone but I would recommend reading them in order to maintain some continuity. Overall rating 3.5 stars.

He thought he could let his walls down and have it all…until his past suddenly came crashing into his future.

Review:
“I brought my hands up to her face, gently brushing my thumb across her cheek as I said, ‘You’re the favorite part of my day, Cass. Just one look at you, and the rest of the world just fades away.’”

5 I need more Cotton stars!!! Addicting, suspenseful and so sexy!

Cassidy and Cotton are electric together and you get that the minute the come onto the page! I loved Cotton, he’s not your typical jerk MC president, there’s so much more to him. Depth. Cassidy is a great female lead, she’s a woman who knows what she wants and she will go after it and get it. And that something in this book is Cotton. But there’s always darkness lurking in Cotton’s world and it comes full force!

I was on the edge of my seat while reading this and when I wasn’t on the edge of my seat, I was panting from the steaminess that comes out of the pages! I love L. Wilder’s books and this one has now become my favorite to date!
