Mayzie Katz is a very busy lady. As the owner of Katz and Dog Pet Services and The Barks ‘n’ Bites Café, she has quite a full schedule, one that doesn’t really include time to solve murders. But when a dead body is discovered in her favorite dog park and her name pops up in the investigation, she really has no choice but to get involved. With her four legged sleuthing buddy helping her sniff out the clues, she quickly finds out that solving a murder is a lot more difficult than baking cookies!

Murder, Mutts and Mayhem
Once again Mayzie Katz, owner of Katz and Dog Pet Services and the “Barks ‘n’ Bites” Café, finds herself thrown into the middle of a most unusual murder. Thinking that she was only going to be the baked goods caterer for a local dog show, she suddenly finds herself way in over her head searching for a motive for murder among lost dogs, suspicious contestants and quirky judges. As always, her faithful furry companion is right by her side sniffing out clues and trying his best to stay out of trouble!

Drowned at the Docks
It is usually peaceful down by the docks in Christmas Cove and it has always been one of Mayzie Katz’s favorite places to walk with her black lab Murphy. At least until the morning she discovers a lone dog swimming frantically in the water alongside a dead body.
Once again Mayzie finds herself swept into the heart of a murder investigation where friends become suspects, strangers become friends and everyone wants in on the gossip.

A quick and interesting read for such a short book.

Triple play
A trio of clean cozy mysteries suitable for everyone. Well written with plenty of yummy recipes for pups and people.
Mayzie runs a dog friendly cafe with a sideline of dog walking. She investigates three separate murders in this book set.
