I read this book as part of a book tour with the compilation Valentine's Pets and Kisses. I absolutely love romance novels where animals are front and center.

There's a love triangle going on here, between Melanie and Jet the football star and Dylan the bff that she's had a crush on forever.

Unlike most stories with love triangles, I found myself liking both guys. Jet is a lot more than the bad boy that he seems to be. Dylan is more than just the guy Mel has longed for. Things are changing for Dylan and his feelings for Melanie.

A trip to the Super Bowl sees Mel meeting the football star that she's written a rather nasty article on. And when she does she poses as her friend Dylan, not wanting him to make the connection.

The story is told from both Mel's and Jet's point of view, which may be surprising when you reach the end of the story.

I have to say that I am Team Dylan, as much as I loved Jet and admired him for making changes in his life, I wanted her with the guy she loved all along.

This was a great quick read and the trouble that the doggie that Dylan and Mel are pet sitting causes will having you laughing.

Her perfect catch is the perfect read for the romantic at heart. Add sports and you have a recipe for the perfect love story. Melanie Vincent is you classic quirky girl- a nerd who loves sports. A journalist and blogger by day, she finds herself in quite a situation when one of her articles about the famous pro footballer Jet Jamison leads her straight into his arms. The only thing that maybe standing in the way of a happily ever after is a little secret laced with just enough scandal. A great read! Enough about them. My favorite character just happens to have four legs and is probably an undercover internet troll! He need his own story.

A sweet, laugh-out-loud clean romance. Sports writer, Melanie Vincent has been struggling with her feelings for her best friend, Dylan, and his rejection of anything other than friendship, for a long time. Then she meets NFL star receiver Jet Jamison. Problem: if Jet discovers she has been writing a less than complimentary blog about his skills on the football field, their relationship will be over before it begins. So should she move on with Jet or wait around until Dylan finally realizes Melanie is the one for him?

After reading the blurb, I was a little confused about who the hero of the story was, and that didn't change for most of the story. Melanie has been in love with her best friend Dylan forever, but Dylan doesn't feel the same way. Then she meets her favourite football star, Jet Jamison, with whom there is an instant connection. But Mel has a secret that could affect her budding romance with Jet. In a desperate move to save her career, she posts an article on her blog, The Vin Report, which has drawn negative attention to Jet's life and career, and might affect his chances of getting his contract renewed.

For most of the story, Mel shows feelings for both Dylan and Jet, and both guys seem to also have feelings for her. Jet wines and dines Melanie, and the two appear to be headed for an ever-after, until Mel's big secret comes out. Meanwhile, Dylan is making a career plans that will take him to another city.

The three main characters in this story--Melanie, Jet and Dylan--are likable and I enjoyed the dynamics between Mel and Jet as well as between Mel and Dylan.

This is a well-written story, but it misses the most basic ingredient about romance for me. We don't really know who the hero of the story is until the end. While we are able to get into Mel's head and see what she's thinking and feeling, the same cannot be said about the hero. I would have enjoyed the story more if I'd had the same level of insight into both Jet's and Dylan's hearts; this made for a less-than-satisfactory HEA.

For the first time in a long time, I had to skip to the end of the book to see how it ended. Once I knew the outcome of the triad I could relax and enjoy the book, which I totally did. I don’t give spoilers so you’ll have to read it yourself to find out. You won’t be disappointed, that’s for sure.

This sweet romance entertained me with Melanie’s incredible sense of humor. She scared me at some points with her antics and had me wanting to jump in the book to advise (or yell at) her. To be honest both Jet and Dylan were great guys, but I was happy that she ended up with one she did.

That cover is so incredibly adorable.

My single complaint is that I wish the chapters hadn’t been labeled. Chapter numbers alone would’ve done just fine.

Good book

A nice and entertaining story. It was nice to see that a wonderful love story could be told without the graphic inmate details of relationships.

K.L. Brady made her characters and story really come to life and I wanted to keep reading. I recommend reading this book that really could be one of the movies I watch on Netflix all the time.

Mel Jet and Dylan

Good read though I was angry with Dylan most of the time I didn't like the way he always talked down to Mel. Jet and Mel would have made a good couple

Every good girl deserves.......Football.

They share the love of everything, including each other, so what's keeping them apart? Melanie Vincent's love for and knowledge of football has her staring her perfect opportunity in the face: the chance to know how it feels to have good love. It wasn't exactly how she'd planned on meeting her Prince Charming, this time around, but who is she to predict how love happens...or with whom?

There's Dylan, her best friend, who seemingly has the key to everything, including her heart. There's Jet, the star athlete who has left more than just a lasting impression. Melanie is stuck between a football and hard decision. Whom will she choose?

Her Perfect Match is a love story told perfectly well by K.L Brady. It's a delightful read whose ending you never want to happen, but you're curious to know who gets the girl. As always, K.L. Brady does not disappoint with her hilarity, her sensual moments, and tension. Her Perfect Catch is a perfect read.

K.L. Brady delivered again with Her Perfect Catch. This is a quick but fulfilling romance novel and combines two of my favorite things, football and love. Melanie is a girl after my own heart and I related to her insecurities, doubts, and desires. Dylan and Jet are the perfect example of that phase in life when you "turn the corner" and every girl needs a cousin/sister/friend like Miki!

Her Perfect Catch was full of humor as I expected from K.L. Brady but also spoke to the essence of the thoughts that many of us have on a daily basis. Navigating love and life doesn't always come easily for some of us and it was really refreshing to read a romance that wasn't the idyllic fairytale but more like the mishaps and drama we really encounter on the journey to love.

After reading Her Perfect Catch, the words Honey, I'm Home have a special place in my heart!!

I really enjoyed this Novella by K.L. Brady, it was a quick and engaging. The characters were well developed and very relatable. Mel is like a lot us women who love the game of football and could probably talk circles around many a man about the game but aren't always taking seriously. She's smart, cute and pretty confident except when it comes to love. Jet is am awesome football player on the field but can't seem to get his life together off the field and love seems unattainable in his near future. Jet and Mel are perfect for each other but drama seems to be lurking at every turn and then the unexpected happens......Take a chance on "Her Perfect Match" you will be utterly surprised at the outcome!!!!

How could I not adore a book centered around a woman who loves football??? In typical Brady fashion, there were plenty of chuckles along the way. This is a novella so there is no need for a long drawn own review because it will tell all of the details. So, I will simply say that "Her Perfect Catch" is a quick and entertaining read that left me looking forward to the forthcoming books in the series.

Surprisingly Refreshing

I don't like books with romantic triangles I much prefer a clear case of love between two people but this book was unexpectedly very well written and was very entertaining. I loved Melanie and Dylan story it was always supposed to be them. They make the perfect couple best friends who turn into lovers

Sometimes who you need is right in front of you

Melanie and Dylan had been friends forever, they were always there for each other. Melanie is looking for that never ending love. Guess where she finds it? No hot sex. If you are looking for that do not buy this book. Good clean romance story.

Her Match was In Plain Sight

Sometimes its hard to see your match when you're convincing yourself its not possible. Melanie was a sports blogger under the pen name Mel Vin. Most readers thought she was a guy because she knew the lingo and knew what she was talking about. She wrote a scathing article about Jet Jamison and it went viral. Jet's career was in the balance and the article did not help. Mel's best friend Dylan was the face on her blogg and her bestie, so when she received tickets to attend the Super Bowl, she invited Dylan to join her. Jets team was playing in the Super Bowl. Jet's brother was staying in the same hotel as Mel and Dylan.. It was funny, how they met... Mel was struck in the head by a football meant for Jet to catch in the hotel halls, and they were immediately caught up in the heat of the moment that Jet invited Mel to meet him after the game.. Afterwards, they started to hang out much to Dylan's dismay. Jet thought Mel was Dylan just a regular news writer, so when he started to feel comfortable, he confided in her things that could damage his career. Later, when things went south with Dylan and the confusion over whether to pursue Jet or tell Dylan about her feeling, the hot mess was made even messier when two old flames of Dylan and Jet were added to the mix. The HEA did happen, and it was rather sweet...
