Sometimes love blooms in the places you least expect...
Charlene “Charlie” Evans is ready for a new beginning after a terrible riding accident leaves her unable to compete in the Rodeo World Championship. When she receives a job offer, as foreman for a ranch, she gladly accepts. So what if she sort of passed herself off as a man in order to get the job?
Dan Richards is offered the ranch of his dreams from his terminally ill uncle for a price he can’t refuse. He jumps at the chance to own a ranch he has loved since childhood. However, when he arrives at the place it’s not what he had hoped for, or as he remembered. The ranch is in shambles. With no experience, where does he go from here?
Will Dan and Charlie let God help them find new dreams on Wildflower Ranch?
Wildflower Ranch by Tina Dee Book starts out with dedication page and table of contents. Prologue follow Charlene Evans as she does her normal rodeo competition but it doesn't end normally at all... She is now looking for another job and because of how she was brought up she knows she can do the job of manager to the ranch she is applying for. She hopes to meet up with the owner at the cafe. She does note a man sitting nearby and after a while she gets up to leave as the rancher never showed up. Dan Richards is at the cafe waiting for to interview his new manager but gives up after a while as they didn't show up. Dan ends up helping Charlene when her jeep tire is flat, then back to the garage and cafe for a bit to eat. They do talk and they once realize who they are to one another and she sells herself into the job. Problem is Dan has never done any type of ranching and she has some ideas to run past him as money is in short supply. Love how her brothers and their best friend come to her rescue and I love what they manage to do to the dilapidated buildings... They are rather opposite to one another but how long will that last. Love the water and what it truly means to them...
I TRULY BELIEVE THAT GOD HAS A PLAN AND THAT WE NEED TO FIND PEACE IN THAT I enjoyed this clean Christian romance story that has a cast of delightful characters, charming circumstances and several laugh out loud moments. It is a wonderful reminder that sometimes plans and dreams can change, God is always in control and sometimes all we can do is just take what we’re offered and make the best of it. Charlene “Charlie” Evans was in the end stretch, seconds away from her competition for world finals when everything changes in a split second due to an accident. Dan Richards is going to make a dream of a ranch that had belonged to his terminally ill Uncle. What pulls two people together for a new beginning maybe a chance at a lifetime of happiness in the end. This story shares that even Christians must face heartache, disappointment, anxiety and unexpected circumstances. It isn’t what happens in life; it is how we handle it that matters. Favorite line: “Charlene nodded numbly. This guy was no more a rancher than she was a horse.” The story is part of a series but does not leave you on a cliffhanger. I look forward to reading more of the Wildflower Ranch series.
An excellent telling of a modern day cowgirl whose whole life was barrel racing. Our hero was a rancher without any experience. How they work out their partnership makes for a super story. Loved it. Highly recommend it.
I enjoyed this book, although I thought the ending was rather abrupt. I enjoyed the characters and thought they were well developed. The main characters were Dan Richards and Charlene "Charlie" Evans. I didn't think the story was rushed; but I did feel the end came up before I was ready for it. Although, I do feel it ended well for such a short story. The second book in her series looks interesting too. Dan Richards needed help on his ranch so he advertised for a foreman and made an appointment for an interview. He thought he would be meeting a man. Though they did meet in the restaurant they were each there to meet someone they just didn't realize it was each other. The book has some humorous points. One statement Charlie says that guy (meaning Dan) is no more a Rancher than she was a horse. Very funny. And, I thought almost the entire Chapter 8 was very funny. It was a very wholesome book. No profanity. No sexually graphic dialogue. With a bit of faith in God mixed in. I read where one reviewer thought it was preachy. However, I didn't think there was any preaching what so ever. Great book!
I highly recommend this wonderful and funny romance about Charlene and Dan and their dude ranch called Wildflower Ranch. Charlene gets seriously injured while barrel racing. Her doctor won't release her to return to the rodeo circuit so she applies for a job as a ranch foreman. She uses her nickname Charlie, so the owner won't know she is a woman applying for what is considered a man's job. Her interview with Dan who is the ranch owner doesn't turn out the way she expected, but God's plan turned out the best. I loved this book and couldn't put it down after I started reading it. I enjoyed book two also. They are standalone books with HEA endings.
He was business man looking for a ranch foreman for a ranch he inherited; and she was looking for a rancher. The beginning of the story is a little dragged out, but once they realize that they have been looking for each other, the story moves along. So quickly that it was ending before I expected it to. Overall this is a good book and I will be reading book 2 and the rest of the series, because I did find the characters likeable and want to see what happens next.
Dan bought a run down Ranch and was looking for a foreman. When Charlie shows up he’s first surprised that she’s a woman but they really work well together. She brings two brothers and Jake to help them. Dan is directly taken by her blue eyes but what is her connection with Jake? Can he still win her heart? This is a fun short story. The romance is sweet and with some laugh out loud moments. I’m looking forward to read more stories by this author.
This is a fun and joyous little book. You encounter a spunky young woman overcoming an accident that changed her world, and a young man being a “fish out of water” wanting to bring back summertime memories for others. With help from others but especially having Faith in their Lord will they cross paths or fight like cats and dogs and go separate ways? A book of trials but relying upon God to get them through everything will work out just fine
I liked this story. The plot is different and the characters are interesting. It's a light quick enjoyable read. It feels like it could have been fleshed.out into a more complex book, but its nice as is.
A spunky ranch girl with big dreams to be a rodeo queen had all of her dreams crushed. A wanna be cowboy with a ranch that isn't quite what he bargained for is her new boss. A clean romance.
Charlene Evans life changes when she gets injured during her barrel race at the rodeo. She decides to take a job for Dan Richards as a ranch foreman. Such a short, sweet, romantic story with amazing characters!
Dan And Charlie met at a diner, each looking for the other, but they didn't know that, they figured it out and helped each other, and lived happily forever. Thank you Tina Dee.
Dan hired a foreman based on the resume. He bought the ranch based on his memory. Charlie and the ranch were not what he was expecting, but it turned out to be what he needed.
This clean inspirational western romance novella is a fun quick well written read with strong and likable characters. Charlie is hired as foreman by a rancher who knows nothing about ranching. Can Charlie make this rundown ranch into a profitable business?

I really enjoyed the story of Wildflower Ranch by Tina Dee. Charlie is not the foreman that Dan had expected. Dan is not what Charlie would consider a rancher. Even though neither one is what the other “expected” that doesn’t mean that they weren’t meant to be working together. I enjoyed reading as the characters came to terms with personal issues and struggles, something we all face in life. This is a great story to lose yourself in without taking up a lot of time. I am looking forward to the next book in this series and more books from this author.
Short and sweet romance between an injured rodeo star and a wannabe cowboy. Charlie is physically unable to ride rodeo anymore, and has possibly lost the ability to bear children. Dan, with no ranching knowledge, bought his grandfathers ranch sight-unseen. They find it to be in terrible shape. Charlie comes up with a brilliant idea for Dan, as their relationship progresses.
My favorite character was Jake...he was hysterical. Can't wait to read about him in the next book!
