Turning on my kindle this week I found a new book by Kaylee Song there. You can imagine my surprise because it only felt like a few weeks ago that I got her last book and read it – so I am honestly starting to think this author is writing nonstop.
I often enough now pointed out the talent of this author and again with this book she proved to be the just delivering that type of story that I would expect.
Or not ?
I directly dove into the story without consulting Amazon or Goodreads on the Blurb, because I was sure I would like it – how could I not – I mean HELLO?!? it is a book by Kaylee Song.
Still … while I read the book I felt something was different. The writing style was flawless as I expected – the characters were well developed so what was it that was nagging me.
After reading about 60% I could finally put a finger on it… this book is lighter than the usual Kaylee Song’s – I even dare to say it is funny …
Only after I finished – I noticed that there is a second author involved so in fact “Still Here: A Secret Baby Romance” is written by Laura Belle Peters AND Kaylee Song.
As I have never read anything by Ms. Peters I can only assume that this lighter feeling is due to her part in this book.
And actually (if so) those two authors work well together, because while the blurb might sound like something almost every frequent reader read at least once or twice before, it is just this lighter feeling about it that makes this book different.
I enjoyed this story and read it in on session.

I'm sorry to say that this book wasn't that good. The story started well but dragged a bit at times and is predictable and steamy. Boy meets girl, they fall for one another, something happens and they fall apart. When it comes out Wyatt is madly in love with Rose and he knows he want no one else in his life, Rose how ever feels that they are better off as friends, but there is absolutely no chemistry between Wyatt and Rose and I saw they as somewhat weak and feeling sorry for themselves. I did not like her, she just whined on and on about their fear of whatever, this book just didn't grab me.

Received a copy. Still Here is a perfectly written fun read. A little of the past and present. Negotiations were made and the realization of feelings of love were shown. We cross paths for a reason whether it be once or twice. What you do with the opportunity is the real question. Wyatt and Rose are loving, fun and overall a great couple. Wyatt knew what he wanted and Rose found out she could have it all if she would let go of the past. I love the warm and fuzzy feelings that is experienced through this fabulous second chance romance. Well Done!

Rose left laurel, Montana and Wyatt right with it. Wyatt was 5 years older and a playing who wanted sex and nothing more. When rose comes back to help her mom out. Wyatt is there willing to show her she was the only one. Will rose look past his playing ways and tell him why she really left him. Great book need to read

DOES WYATT DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE? WILL ROSE SUCCUMB TO WYATT'S CHARMS?
I've only read one other book by Kaylee Song and none by Laura Belle Peters, but the collaboration of the two women did an outstanding job in writing "Still Here: A Secret Pregnancy Book." I guess I am just a sucker for love, romance, and second chances and this book appealed to my need for love and romance. I love how the story line worked with characters perfectly, and how the characters just made your heart melt and fall in love with them. I laughed some, I cried some, and I wanted to jump in the book and slap them both upside the side the head and say "Wake up before you lose the best thing to ever happen to you two", and Wyatt's dad got on my nerves. It was like the man knew just when Wyatt was having sex with Rose and just had to call knowing Wyatt was going to pick up the phone. To me all those things are signs of a good author and I totally recommend this book to anyone who loves romance and believes in second chances. Due to the explicit sexual activity in this book it is recommended for ages 18 and older.
Wyatt Graves is trying to run the farming part of his dad's many business interests, but has a hard time doing it with his dad's meddling and trying to get Wyatt to do some things under handed instead of the right way like Wyatt wants to do. When Wyatt takes the paperwork out to Miranda Shannon for the purchase of her land and the last thing he expected to find on her porch was Rose Shannon! The one person that had wanted and she ripped his heart out and left without any warning or any good byes. Of course Rose tries to stall the sale of her father's farm land, but she didn't realize that Wyatt was already offering her more than his dad wanted him too. So now comes the hard part, how was he going to win her over and get her to give him a second chance. Even though she had hurt him, she was the one person that he didn't think he could live without and what a Graves wanted, a Graves got! Or did they? With the help of half the town he was able to get her to agree to 50,000 extra dollars for her mom, and 10 dates! Will Wyatt win her over and will Rose give him a second chance? OMG i have just demolished this book in one sitting!!!... And yes i'm still slightly breathless from the rush of reading it!!! EVERYTHING about it is amazing and the characters wow just wow and put together for the perfect 'second chance' story!!!

He is on his way to seal a deal with the mother of his one and only love, unknowing and shocked to come eye to eye with said woman on his arrival... Rose, his Rose the same Rose that left without a word 5 years previously without a word, and broke his heart!!!
Rose left (reason is revealed later in book) and tried to make a new life away from the small town, away from Wyatt. On her return she is shocked by the visit he makes to her mother (again reason explained). Unhappy with the whole situation yet struggling with feelings, Wyatt and Rose make a deal... One that will change their lives forever!!!
I absolutely loved this book, it was a perfect light read with a beautiful story line and wonderful HEA. I definately would say for anyone that loves a second chance romance to read this, it even warmed my heart... Which is a difficult task in itself! But honestly... Beautiful!!!

What a beautiful and sweet romantic story. Still Here is a story about how miscommunication can cause two people who are great for each other , how their love story can run off course and their love go astray and they not see each other for years until one day they come back into each others lives and then…well, then it will be epic.
Wyatt is in position to take over his dad’s many businesses. His ideas regarding the farms his family company takes over wanting better for the families than what his father wants. Wyatt is a manwhore millionaire playboy all because of one woman whom he gave his heart to and she left him and because of that he has sworn he will never give his heart again.
Rose is back in Montana after 5 years away. She left her heart behind and the man she loved. She ended her relationship with Wyatt 5 years ago and swore she will never be back. Her life since she left has been horrible and rough. Her mom is now in the process of selling her land –and the person she is selling the parcel of land to is none other than Wyatt . It is hurting her to come back and see him but its time and she is starting to see this but she doesn’t want to. It hurts to much.
OMG these two MC are in so much pain and the angst jumps out at you while reading their story. It is a dual POV at times. Wyatt is bound and determined to get his love back. He wants to tie her to him forever but Rose is unsure. These characters are so determined to make things hard on themselves. What I love is they do work to get back to where they can be in each other’s lives again.
There is a good reason by Rose left town and it will be shown later in the story and I loved the deal that Wyatt and Rose made in order for her to stay. This deal changed their lives and changed the outcome and story of their lives. There are so many twists and turns in this story and the passion is fantastic. I have to say, it made this story so much sweeter. I loved how their chemistry enhanced this story –Wyatt and Rose made this story. At times I was #TEAMWYATT and other times, I was #TEAMROSE. In the end , the ending was fantabulous and Wyatt and Rose had the best HEA ending.

This story was an amazing story bringing together a second chance romance.
I love second chance romances. They always have a sweet and sexy semblance and it shows that they have a chemistry that will pretty much throw their world off balance.
Wyatt is in the position to take over his dad's empire (covering many different businesses). He has a different idea regarding the farms his company takes over wanting better for families than what his dad wants. His dad is all about money but Wyatt is not. Wyatt is a multi-millionaire playboy who only gives woman one night due to giving his heart to one woman and then she left him and his heart broken. He vowed He would never give his heart to someone again....one night no promises is all they got.
Rose is back in Montana after being away for the last 5 years. When she left 5 years ago after ending it with Wyatt she vowed she would never be back but after a rough 5 years away with nothing but pretty much bad luck she is back. Her mom is in the process of selling some of her land since she is unable to take care of it...who does she sell it to...none other than Wyatt and Rose is left to face the man she broke his heart but Wyatt hurt her too ....so she thought.
Wyatt is determined to have Rose again and in every sense of the word...both intimately and in his life forever but Rose is determined to not give Wyatt that chance. Wyatt is persistent and I love that about him. Both Wyatt and Rose are very stubborn and will have to come face to face to the elephant in the room...why she left. So why did she leave? Can it be just a misunderstanding? Can Wyatt forgive her for her leaving? You will have to read to find out. This book will not disappoint you.
Kaylee and Laura both did an incredible job writing this story. They gave us developed characters and gave us a life like story that had me personally feeling the emotions they both showed regarding their pain. They did a great job putting in a little humor to with both Wyatt and Rose making it a great read and not just sappy love story. I enjoyed this book immensely and hope you take a chance and go read it today.

Too many Grammatical Errors. I wanted to give up on this book early on due to it's
lack of Editing. There is No Excuse For Missing Words!
This book is written in the exact dialog that my Middle School Daughter and her friends use.
The writing style was very Juvenile and the sexy scene was mediocre at best.
There is absolutely no chemistry between Wyatt and Rose. I felt no connection or pull
of any kind. They were just characters on a page for me.
This Is Not what I would consider a "Secret Baby Romance". Rose told Wyatt within weeks
of her finding out she was pregnant. She was debating whether she should tell him right then
or later on, she never planned on never telling him.
This book was a struggle to get through, for many reasons.

I've read a few books by Kaylee Song and I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of her amazing story's . Kaylee Song has given us a story that will suck s us in and holds us there from start to finish ,and will leave you wanting more from this author. This story has everything that you want in a romance story like lust, passion,and a secret baby and an ending that will pull at your heart strings. Still Here is a second chance at romance story about Rose Shannon and Wyatt Graves . Five years ago Rose and Wyatt were together and totally in love ,but due to circumstances and some misunderstandings drove Rose to leave town and it totally devastated Wyatt. But Rose is moving back to town and Wyatt wants to get her back and,he won't stop at anything to make her realize that he has changed and that he's different when he was she left. But there's a good reason why she left town,and you will find that out later in the story. These two are so determined to make thing rough for each other ,even when their know they love each other . The chemistry between these two is flammable their could explore,and the sex scenes are hot and steamy in this story. The main characters are sweet and amazing and the secondary characters are also enjoyable and really help make this story flow smoothly. I could go on and tell you more about this sweet couple but that would spoil the story for you. I highly recommend that you read this touching story ,you won't be disappointed. Kaylee Song has written one amazing story here.

Rose ran from her small town in Montana. She back now and doesn't expect to see her reason for running....Wyatt. He broke her heart and she ran. But Wyatt being the strong business man he is is purchasing land from Rose's mom. Upon running into Rose for the first time in years he know his feelings are still there and he's willing to do whatever it takes to prove he's changed. He makes a deal with Rose; ten dates with her and he ups his offer for her moms land to fifty thousand dollars. Can Wyatt prove he's changed and win Rose in ten dates? Can Rose keep from Wyatt their passion has created a baby that she's keeping a secret and how will Wyatt react?
I enjoyed this story. There's so much history between Rose and Wyatt and you can feel the tension between the two. Rose got her heart broken and in return broke Wyatt's. He's not forgotten her and now he's going to make her his, I loved the back and forth between these two. They have great sexual,attraction and Wyatt really has to work at gaining Rose's trust and affection again. It's a story that will have you laughing along with them and is filled with feel. They are both great characters and supporting characters. I really liked Rose's Mom she was so funny. Laura Belle Peters and Kaylee Song have written a story I feel like many people will enjoy.
Rose ran from her small town in Montana. She back now and doesn't expect to see her reason for running....Wyatt. He broke her heart and she ran. But Wyatt being the strong business man he is is purchasing land from Rose's mom. Upon running into Rose for the first time in years he know his feelings are still there and he's willing to do whatever it takes to prove he's changed. He makes a deal with Rose; ten dates with her and he ups his offer for her moms land to fifty thousand dollars. Can Wyatt prove he's changed and win Rose in ten dates? Can Rose keep from Wyatt their passion has created a baby that she's keeping a secret and how will Wyatt react?
I enjoyed this story. There's so much history between Rose and Wyatt and you can feel the tension between the two. Rose got her heart broken and in return broke Wyatt's. He's not forgotten her and now he's going to make her his, I loved the back and forth between these two. They have great sexual,attraction and Wyatt really has to work at gaining Rose's trust and affection again. What do you do when you have a man with money to burn, used to getting anything he wants, an not used to the word No?
Money talks bs walks! That's exactly how one of our main characters Wyatt is.
Rose has a choice to make, Wyatt offers a nice hunk of change for her families land, but being he's got so many strings he decides to up the anty. To go on 10 dates with him, then after she would receive the money.
When you get a chance to be with a playboy with money with no strings attached, why not right? Except they used to be a couple, years ago, so there's still heart ache inside, but maybe a second chance is what's in order?
Of course that's only the beginning, when Oops something happens that neither planned on!
This book has some funny light-hearted moments, something I'm not used to with the heated writing of Kaylee Song. If you're looking for the usual Kaylee Song type books, this may not be for you.
Mz Peters, the other author, wrote with a light hearted approach in this book. The two did well together, its just alot different than I'm used to reading from Kaylee. Its written in both pov .

Wyatt's known to be a playboy like his father, but what no one realizes is that he's just been looking for someone to fill the void that Rose left when she walked away from him. He is trying to turn his family agriculture business into a legitimate business where his father is ruthless and believes that bribery is the way to conduct business. After Rose left him without an explanation five years ago, she comes home and he's bound and determined to make sure she doesn't leave him again. Rose loved him, but one night she sees another girl kissing him and that's all she needs to decide to run away to college and begin working as a paralegal in Denver. laura Belle Peters and Kaylee Song new book Still Here: A Secret Baby Romance was gifted to me in an ARC in exchanged for an honest review. I am giving this book 5 stars because this book had everything you love in romance stories. It had passion, lust, and a secret baby with a happy ending. How you not love that these two Authors created one hell of a book together. Rose and Wyatt story was so honest and beautiful. What I loved most about this book was how everyone was on Wyatt side I mean even Rose mother was team Wyatt lol. It was like not matter how much she tried to avoid him there was always someone she loved pushing her towards him. I don't want to give to much away because reading it is so much better. I really hope these two writers keep creating hot love stories together. Because Their two amazing brains crafted one sexy hot book. I hope they make a book two because I would love to find out did they get married and what is she having. Oh and I would love to find out if their parents finally got there happy ending too.

I guess I was just really confused throughout the whole thing because the timing was so off. For instance, it says she moved back, they went out on a date the day after he sees her again for the first time, and of course they have sex. Then she gets mad and bitches about it to her bff the next day, and then like a day later finds out she's five weeks pregnant with his baby? Like, what?
Not to mention - the authors make reference to a boyfriend from wherever she moved that ended badly and then they just leave it at that. . . . . . Like, why??????
Besides that, I guess the story was semi-cute? But I couldn't get past the time line thing or the grammatical errors. And some of the conversations didn't make any sense at all. The main character alternates between saying he's the same man he was before and that he's a different man than he was before in the same paragraph. Gosh, that bothered me. And she asks, "Who are you?", which I'm guessing is evidence of her confusion. But then he's all, "You're the only person who really sees me." Like, huh?????

Not bad, but did not enjoy the POV stlye
It is probably just me, but I had a difficult time reading this book. It really took a while for me to get into the flow of the book. Each chapter was an alternate POV, one Rose's, the other Wyatt's. By the time I was into the rhythm of the book, I wanted to just get it over with.
Periodically, I wasn't sure which person was speaking, or who someone was referring to whenever the he/she pronouns were used. I would have to go back and reread to make sure I understood who was involved in the scene.
There were a few errors in the book that I was able to overlook. But, I started to wonder if the grammatical errors were contributing to my confusion.

Very exciting love story of Rose and Wyatt. The two lovebirds had a passionate beginning but through a misunderstanding Rose left town suddenly without warning. Years pass and family issues draws her back to town. When she crosses paths with Wyatt, she realizes the flame of love still burns in her heart. But the pain of the incident that sent her running fuels her anger and she is determined to not let him in her heart again. Wyatt is also determined to find out what sent her running and fix it and win her heart a second time. As the couple works with several challenges, stressed feelings and a life changing surprise, the reader is treated with a feel good, lovely, romantic story of second chances and renewed hope. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Highly recommend this book. Five stars.

Kaylee has given us yet another 5 star read.
This story is about Rose and Wyatt. A story of a romance rekindled after Rose picked up and left town, leaving what she thought was the love of her life behind after she saw him kissing another girl. Wyatt was known as the towns playboy, not staying with one woman, just like his dad. What little did everyone know is that when Rose walks back into town he will do everything in his power to make her see that he is not what everyone thinks he is. For her he leaves his old habits behind.
The story in the book reels you in from chapter 1. Rose and Wyatt's characters are easy to like as the story develops. There are no shocking twists just a love story. Its always a pleasure to read what Kaylee has to offer.

Great second chance story
Nothing better than a great "unexpected baby" story.
Rose shows back in town and takes Wyatt by surprise. He asks her out and it doesn't end well. To get her to go out with him again he makes her a proposition, one she can't refuse. Part of it is 10 dates, Wyatt means he's going to win her over during that time. He's not letting her leave him again. Well over those dates both of their feelings grow into so much more than they ever imagined. She ends up telling why she left him five years ago and it ends up being over nothing but a misunderstanding.
Rose starts feeling sick and has convinced herself she may have cancer. She goes to the doctor only to get a bigger shock.......she's pregnant. They end up with their HEA

After five years away Rose returns home and their attraction to each other is just as strong as before. Wyatt offers Rose $50,000 to go out on ten no strings attached dates with him. Rose agrees as this begins their second chance. Their home town is wants these two together and is willing to throw them together with every chance the get. Rose soon finds out some news and she isn't sure how Wyatt will react. These two are adorable and you can see the love they have for each other and those around them. This was a great little romance with some steamy sex scenes.

Rose is back in town, after a failed relationship and ultimately her career at the law firm, she comes home to start over. Wyatt has never gotten over Rose, what he doesn't understand is why she just left him years ago.

A quick reading, second chance romance book. After a misunderstand, Rose leaves the small town but comes back 4 years later. When Rose left four years ago, Wyatt was left hurt and became bitter.
Now Rose is back and he can't seem to stay away. Wanting to hurt her, he realized he can't because he never stopped loving her. Rose is still hurt, believing what she saw four years ago. She doesn't want to be with Wyatt, but he promises her, he will give her mama more money for the property if she goes on ten dates with him. The two eventually rekindle their love for one another.
I would have gave this book more stars but I think it needed more of a hea. Just when they get together, I feel like the book ends.

A great story of second chances for two couples IMO, Branch Graves and Miranda Sanders, Wyatt Graves and Rose Shannon. The story was mainly focusing on Wyatt and Rose hurtful past relationship along with seeing each other again after so many years. The couple attraction to each other never disappeared but they continues to fight the feeling. Their story went from enemies, frenemies, friends and finally lovers. It was entertaining, humorous and sweet. I am not going to spoil the ending but I will say that, for me, it was a great job from the authors.

I received this Arc in exchange for an honest review. I absolutely loved this book! It was fast paced and yet nothing was left out. Except Wyatt telling Rose the meaning of his tattoo. Wyatt and Rose were a great couple to read about. Lost love and heartbreak that is found again and healed. Rose ran off because of something she witnesses yet doesn't question and Wyatt tries for five years to get over her unsuccessfully. They begin to mend each others hurt and learn to love each other again. This was a great read and I would recommend it to readers of Kaylee Song's books. I look forward to more books by her.

I love, love as second chance romance and these two authors definitely delivered a superb story! This story is about Rose and Wyatt. 5 years ago they were together and in love but circumstances and misunderstands drove Rose out of town and devastated Wyatt. Now she is back and Wyatt won't stop at nothing to make Rose see that he isn't the same man that she knew 5 years ago. It is such a sweet love story and I adored reading their story.
This is an amazing 5 star read in my opinion and this is a story I can see myself rereading again and again. I highly recommend this story.

A good short read from the authors. I liked the story and the motivation behind the characters. I thought the characters could have used a bit more building, the story a little bit more fleshing out. At times, I think Rose gave in too easy, gave up too easily. I understood why she left the first time, hot-headed teenage angst, but not why Wyatt didn't follow, at least for an explanation. They needed time to grow, but, in some spots, they didn't really seem all that much older or wiser. Both of them almost self-sabotaged all over the place.. All that being said, I was glad for the HEA, this was a sweet story.

Still Here: A Secret Baby Romance by Kaylee Song...Oh my goodness, I could not put this book down and read it all at one time. This is one of the best storylines I have read lately, it hold your attention. The story is beautifully written with wonderful developed characters that are likeable. This is my first book by Kaylee Song and Laura Belle Peters and I am so excited to read more by these two authors. If you are looking for a fantastic book that you can't put down, make sure you read this one. I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
