Glad I got to read this book, it's the final one in the Currents Series and I'm sad it has come to an end. This is personal because I have been waiting for its release and having read the first three I expected a lot from this book. It delivered even more than I expected. As a guy, I'd love to have a Malaika in my life (she describes a Princess as a water pot) which made me laugh for days. The characters grow and you see different sides to each of them in this book, and I was surprised that King Uwezo who was a brute and dictator was portrayed here as a wonderful Father- so that took me by surprise.
