Kyle In The Corner. A story about a boy who uses his imagination to fix his broken heart.

Kyle is a boy with boundless energy and an endless imagination.
But Kyle has a broken heart. He misses his dog Ellie, you see. Though he doesn’t quite know how to express how he’s feeling about this so he “acts out” and gets into a teensy-weensy bit of trouble throughout the day until finally Mom has had enough and puts him in the corner.
While in the corner Kyle uses his imagination to reunite with his best friend and fix his broken heart.

This was a gratifying enjoyable book to read. The illustrations were so comfortable making you feel at home – the story was welcoming helping to cover the aches and pains of losing a loved pet. Helping to recall a pet long lost to this world – making life more bearable!

I received this charming, heartfelt story as a Goodreads giveaway. The author's lovely illustrations provide a precious backdrop for a 5 year old boy who comes to terms with loss through his lively imagination.
