Very light and short. Jason has gone through trauma in his early years that has led him to live a one night only, no attachments lifestyle. Until he meets Kaia. Lust at first sight. He would do anything to keep her with him, including changing his lifestyle.

Cute!!

This story exceeded my expectations. I was looking for some emotional tug-of-wars, a lot of pushback from the protagonists...none of that. Jason Turner had his childhood ripped from him. He carries his secrets with him heavily, and it keeps people at arms length.

Then you have Kaia, a headstrong girl with a goal of being her own boss. She’s personable, funny, and the kind of girl to go with the flow. I was worried that the author wrote her a bit too perfectly, as if she had no flaws! She was so understanding, so patient, and listened to Jason.

Jason was the cautious one. He often looked over his shoulder constantly and it made it seem like he was paranoid. and he really was, if we’re being honest. After he revealed what happened, I couldn’t blame him really.

Love the pacing of the story. I loved the chemistry and when they first met, it was so cute! Jason broke her laptop and offered to replace it with a better one! Awww!!! I was giddy throughout the entire novel. Cassie Cross, you are an amazing writer!

Jason tells Kaia that they only can share one night together that he doesn't date. They have a amazing night together and go there separate ways. But Jason can forget Kaia. But is it possible for Jason to have a relationship despite his past and can he keep the or full secret from her and keep her safe.
I loved this series. A fantastic writer. I read the book without any breaks. It was so exciting and I an looking forward to read a lot more from the writer

Good Read Refreshing

When I first picked up this series of books. I was immediately drawn into the story. The characters are so secure in their own skin except for a minor problem. The female in this book is confident and not whiney like most of the women in these books.

## I did enjoy this book very much. At first I thought the heroine was going to be annoying because she kept saying "wow" to everything, but I ended up liking her very much. She was sweet, kind, and beautiful. And I liked the hero as well. They had terrific chemistry together. There really wasn't much of a conflict which felt a little lacking, but the story was so sweet, I tend to forgive. I will definitely read again.
