Albert and his older sister Wanda go to the fair. They try to take their friends Lucy and Leo with them, but they aren’t home. While at the fair, Albert makes sure to do everything twice to make up for Leo not being there.
There’s a slight twist at the end of this story that will make it a bit humorous. The book is aiming to teach kids about doubling things, so whenever Albert doubles something the equation for adding 2 of that number (for example 3 + 3) is shown at the bottom of the page. The book is educational without feeling like it is purely educational. I can see kids picking this story up to read for fun too.
A fun way to incorporate math into a story. Mice go to the fair and win prizes for their friends, only to find out the friends had won prizes for them as well. They come up with a nice solution to the problem.
An elementary and up picture book about Albert the mouse and his sister heading to the fair for the day where Albert is adding up twice the amount of everything. Cute ending
