Good informing book. I had to read this book for a school report and somewhat enjoyed it which was suprising as i usually do not enjoy nonfiction books. Although some parts of the book were boring it taught me a lot about one of America's great heroes!

Great book for young readers, 3rd Graders and up. Learned a lot of interesting things about Davy Crockett with my 3rd Grader. Like, Davy Crockett did NOT wear a coonskin cap, that was a folklore made up to make him sound more exciting.
