Prior to writing romance, award-winning, USA Today Bestseller Melinda Curtis was a junior manager for a Fortune 500 company, which meant when she flew on the private jet she was relegated to the jump seat—otherwise known as the potty. After grabbing her pen (and a parachute) she made the jump to full-time writer. Between writing sweet romance and sweet romantic comedy, Melinda finds time to bond with her husband over home remodeling projects. She recently came to grips with the fact that she’s an empty nester and a grandma, concepts easier to grasp than jet-setting on a potty.

What a great set of stories from some amazing authors!!

Cora Rules - Mel Curtis

Cora Rule is living the high life until her father dies and his will stipulates that she is unable to buy any new clothes until she meets her sales quota for the Dooley Foundation.

Cora has always stayed away from serious relationships and has had low morals on who she has slept with, including the L.A. Flash owner Jack Gordon. Now Jack has hired her to work with his wife, Vivian, in an attempt to get her to say yes to a divorce.

Then Cora meets the new LA Flash coach Trent "Reverend" Parker who has his own ghosts in his past and does not believe in Cora's families philosophies. Has Cora met her match with Trent or will their pasts prevent them from having any future together.

I really like Cora yet have also found her very spoiled in the past. In this book you really begin to understand why she has acted the way she has and feel sympathy for her! I'm so glad that we are able to get to know her better and I can't wait for the next one!!

Surrender to Love - Raine English

This was a quick read and very fast moving novella involving the relationship between Tara Spencer and Easton Douglas.

Years ago, their grandfathers established Spencer Douglas Brewery and in the wake of Addison Spencer's death the Douglas family has taken over yet their may be a missing piece to the puzzle.

I liked the book but the relationship was almost too fast moving for me and unfortunately I found it a little unbelievable because of how fast it moved. Other than that I enjoyed the mystery and I really did like both the characters of Tara and Easton.

The Merry-Go-Round - Donna Fasano

Lauren Flynn is a lawyer who is trying to settle her own divorce after deciding she was done with her ex Greg after he lost nearly $60,000 of Lauren's. This forces Lauren's dad into living with her after she can't fund his place and hers.

Greg loves Lauren and wants to make things right with her. The judge awards Lauren a piece of land she wasn't aware Greg had and on it is a merry-go-round.

As Lauren likens her life to the merry go round and begins to enter the dating scene she must discover what will make her life go round the right way. Yet things don't always turn out the way you think they will.

I understood why Lauren was so frustrated but I also liked Greg's attempts at trying to make it right with Lauren! Good story!! I loved the characters of Norma Jean and Lauren's dad!

Twist of Fate - Patti Forsythe

Rebecca Perris is on her way to Cote de Diamant in West Africa to try and find her sister Jenny.

When she arrives in the country she is detained and meets up with her first love/crush, Aaron al-Rashid. As the two talk secrets from her past are unveiled and she must rely on Aaron to help her find her sister, although as she has lied to him in the past he must trust her completely and vice versa.

Will the two find her sister and put the past behind them and move onto a future together? Or in trying to rescue her sister will they put their own lives on the line?

I really liked both of these characters and their relationship! There were a lot of mistakes made in the past but they must learn to overcome them!!

Her French Count - Mona Risk

Cheryl Stewart is headed to France for Professor Stanley Howard after he is rushed to the hospital after meeting someone for lunch. Cheryl had been working on her PHD looking for a mysterious statue that was missing since the war.

Count Francois de Valroux is not happy that Cheryl has come in place of Professor Howard and soon realizes that there is more going on and Cheryl's life could be in danger. Will he risk her life to look for the statue or have the other people after the statue already gotten too close?

This book is full of mystery and you're never quite sure where your alliances should be. There is so much sexual tension between Francois and Cheryl but both are holding back, uncertain about the other ones feelings! This was a great read and I liked that I didn't have it all figured out at the end!

Love Me Forever - Ari Thatcher

Sometimes in love you are given a second chance to finally get it right, and even then it may freak you out.

Ten years ago Jennifer Pearson was on vacation and met her first love and expected him to call when they got back to their everyday lives but the call never came and she got on with her life.

Matt Brashiers never forgot his true love or what he would do if he ever saw her again and he wouldn't lose her again.

Yet Jennifer has reservations about giving herself to the man she loves due to her past. Matt doesn't want to lose her by going to fast yet he is scared of losing her. Will they be able to come together or will Jennifer's past not let her move forward?

This was a story on moving forward with the one who got away and compromising about life and love! I enjoyed the story and really liked Matt!

Playing the Rookie - Rachelle Ayala

Wow - this novella was hot!!

Jessica Song is an intern at Spring Training and Jay Pak Ahn is a baseball rookie looking to find his place on a Major League Team. As soon as the two meet their are sparks flying between them and their is intensity right from the start.

The two begin a hot and fast paced relationship but unfortunately there are some ghosts hiding in each of their pasts. When the ghosts come out will the two find a way to have a future together or is there too much hurt involved?

This novella is definitely for 18+ as it contains a lot of really racy encounters!!

Duke of Devonwood - Carly Carson

Miranda Foxglove's father has died and all her money is controlled in trust by the Duke of Devonwood, according to her father's lawyer. Miranda and her step-mother, Sharmie, head to England to see if they can get control of their money.

Devon Percy Arlington, the Duke of Devonwood, is used to women falling over him in order to get their hands on his money and title. He is very standoffish towards most people, including his family. Yet, can Miranda get to him?

This was a great story with excellent banter and attraction between Miranda and Devon. I was never quite sure which way the story would go, although I really hoped for a happy ending. I loved how Miranda seemed to bring out the best in Devon's siblings which really allowed Devon to see potential in them.

True North - Kelly Collins

Wow! This book was the first one I have read by Kelly Collins and it will certainly not be my last after reading this!

Alexa's car has broken down on a desert highway as she is escaping her ex-husband and past life. She is stranded out on the highway for several hours before being picked up by Zane, the owner of the bar Last Resort in the next town.

Alexa begins to waitress for Zane and although she is very attracted to him she is confused by the young girls headed up to his place. When Alexa is called to help out Zane in the middle of the night she learns his secret and becomes even more attracted to him.

Although Alexa wants to be happy she has many issues with self-image and confidence after her marriage unraveled and is not sure she is ready to trust again. When Tabitha, a fling from Zane's past shows up she must decide what she really wants from Zane and if she is ready to give herself completely to him.

As Alexa begins to share all of her secrets with Zane they must come to terms with everything and will Zane really turn out to be her saving grace?

Season Unforgettable - Keta Diablo

This is a great story with many different levels to it and much mystery.

Season Scrimshaw and her grandfather, Duna, live on the land that Season inherited from her parents when they died in a plane crash when she was 10 years old. It is her home and her connection to her parents.

Rann Brogan works for his mother who wants to develop the land that Season lives on. Rann must decide what is more important to him - his mom or his feelings for Season.

As Season and Rann begin a relationship they both fall for each other until one fateful night where everything changes.

I really enjoyed this book but one part made me super frustrated although I completely understood the reasoning behind it. I loved the relationship between the two and the devotion they had for each other.

Most Likely to Turn up The Heat - Cheryl Harper

Sue Walker is the school administrator at Lincoln High School and has a rule that she does not date cops or military men. But she is definitely not above flirting with them.

Max Holt is a security officer at the school while he is recovering from a gunshot wound while working as a police officer. His only goal is to get back onto the force but he doesn't have any plans for Sue Walker.

Then one night changes everything and both may have to re-evaluate their goals!

This was a good novella about having one thing set in your mind and then meeting someone and having your life turn upside down! I really liked the characters of Sue and Max and the banter between them.

My Favorite What If - Lyssa Layne

Wow!! Another absolutely amazing book by Lyssa Layne! I loved this book so much and it was hard to take a break to go to sleep!

Jacob "Smitty" Smith is ready to get married when on his wedding day he is told that his bride-to-be, Caroline, would not be coming. He is heartbroken and a year later, his best friend Jules trades in his honeymoon for a trip for him to go to Jamaica.

Sloan Talbott is headed to her sister's wedding in Jamaica but before leaving she must go to a grave site to shed some tears.

Sloan and Smitty are seated beside each other on the flight and right away sparks fly but both are afraid of getting attached to the other one due to their pasts. As they grow closer and closer they both realize how much they care about the other one but neither can forget their past heartbreaks.

These characters are amazing and so are all the supporting family members! I can not say enough amazing things about this book!!

Relay for Love - Susan Ann Wall

I truly loved this book - so much heartache and so many laughs.

Hannah Locke's husband died 5 years ago from testicular cancer and she vows never to love again to avoid the pain that she felt watching him die.

Aaron Hawke is a photographer/reporter asked by Malinda Locke to come out and cover the Relay for Life in Steven's honour. Aaron falls for Hannah almost instantly but she's not ready to let go of the past yet.

Will Hannah allow her defenses to drop and let Aaron in? When Aaron's own past is revealed will Hannah push him away completely and lose Aaron?

The characters in this book are fantastic. Although I haven't been through what Hannah has I understood her reluctance to love again to avoid the hurt. Aaron was such a gentleman and I wish there were more of him around! Tabitha, Hannah's daughter was absolutely awesome and I loved the stuff that came out of her mouth! Malinda was another great character, and as Steven's sister and Hannah's best friend, really understood what Hannah needed, even if Hannah herself didn't know.

This Anthology starts strong with a series of well written novels concentrating on romance. It was edited well by interspersing the weaker novels in the middle. A fantastic choice was made to end strong with the novel that used the Cancer Relay for Life as the centerpiece for a new romantic beginning for a character widowed by cancer. One of the best selected and edited anthologies that I have read in a number of years!!!

Cora Rules by Mel Curtis

This third book in the Hollywood Rules Series and focus on the Cora Rules character. This book provides the story of Jack and Vivian from another perspective that is not told in previous books. While the other books provide the ending, this book gives the details in the context of learning about Cora. It is a fast paced, high charged, emotional book. All the emotions are well written into the context of a journey into the past that turns into a discovery of what is needed for developing a wholeness for a healthy productive relationship and life. The trueness of the characters shine in this insightful book. I would highly recommend it.

Surrender to Love by Raine English

A suspenseful mystery with the right amount of intrigue, rivalry, and love interest. It starts out slow and builds fast with the characters developing relationships both good and bad quickly. A heartwarming story that shows how the challenges of aging can be solved with the care and concern of family. Not the usual coming of age relationship story. Loved the premise.

The Merry-Go-Round by Donna Fasano

This story had a complexity that had the reader turning the page wondering what was next. At first, it appeared to be the typical divorced woman plot but the interaction with the other characters brought unique twists. While I honestly did not like that the husband was a weak character. It does take all types in the world and not every book needs to show a positive traits in the main character. It just doesn't happen often and does add to the uniqueness of the book. From my perspective, this book shows the type of man to avoid. Stay far away from this man. I strongly recommend this book as an exercise in demonstrating a co-dependent relationships.

Twist of Fate by Patti Forsythe

This story was a great coming of age story. It explored the what if factor and showed how mistakes in teenage years can build character while really turning out for the best. A second chance at love for the major characters also provided insight into cultural differences. Life balance brings us challenges and this book offers the reader an excellent, well-written, romantic escape into the lives of the characters. Great book!!

Her French Count by Mona Risk
At the beginning, a strong start brings the reader into the story by narrowing the focus to trying to discover who is not just a doctoral student. It seems like everyone in the story has an agenda. Remarkably well played with the characters providing twists and turns in the plot. The author has a main character who grabs the reader's attention and sympathy from the beginning without an overdrawn finish despite a wrap up that is typical romance. Highly suspenseful and entertaining.

Love Me Forever by Ari Thatcher

This book provides a glimpse into a second chance at love. The author hits the usual high notes by plotting a reconnection with a former flame but then adds depth with the search for independence by the main character. It is a good storyline that embraces the ability of women to reconnect with themselves after divorce.

Playing the Rookie by Rachelle Ayala

A lighthearted, spoofy romance brings attention to the existence of cultural differences that still exist. This author shows how arranged marriages can be harmful if not taken seriously by both individuals. The main characters fall in love but run into challenges due to lack of truthfulness. An intriguing look into the Korean culture of marriage and society that had me visualizing the antics of the characters. Loved the story!!

Duke of Devonwood by Carly Carson

This story, while an excellent romance between two characters, had such confusion between time periods. It could not decide whether to be a regency or contemporary romance. There were elements from the Regency period when hand sewing was the norm and servants did certain things. There were plot elements that were not fully developed such as the bet at the beginning of the story. In all, while the premise was good, the book needed further refining and editing.

True North by Kelly Collins
An engaging novel that looks at family dynamics. This love-at-first-sight storyline takes us through the challenges of developing a relationship despite baggage. Truly, a well-balanced and insightful second chance. Loved it!!

Fashion Victim by Suz deMello

Loved this fast paced mystery that layered intrigue and romance to a suspenseful conclusion. The reader was kept engaged through the twists and turns of the romantic journey that brought the main characters together. I highly recommend this well written glimpse into the fashion world.

Season Unforgettable by Keta Diablo

This novel is a myriad of expectations and understandings. It allows the reader to think about how our upbringings shape a person but, also, how a person can overcome an upbringing to become better than the parent. I liked seeing the developing storyline and the challenges of life with unethical individuals. Loved the story and highly recommend it!!

Most Likely to Turn up the Heat by Cheryl Harper

A look at life and why it is hard for some people to form relationships. Lively, vivacious characters connect the reader to the dialog in the novel making it more real. I really appreciated the topic of how disconnect from a sense of community limits the ability to trust in relationship. Loved the happiness in the ending.

My Favorite What If by Lyssa Layne

It is a book that has a second chance at love from many perspectives. The plot is multi-layered and each twist just adds to the heightened suspense. Finding out at almost the end of the book to what happened to the one of the main characters is a gripping aha moment. A masterful story that I would highly recommend.

Relay for Love by Susan Ann Wall

This book speaks to and from the heart. The author shows how the grieving process influences aspects of developing new relationships. A theme in the book is that the presence of loved ones plays an active role in new relationships. As someone with a cancer diagnosis whose numbers are good, this story was an inspiration. The relay for life solidarity cheered me and encouraged me since there is no cure for my cancer. Additionally, my husband died last year of a rare cancer that was metastatic when it was discovered. It is hoped that this well written novel of happiness, growth, and strength in togetherness will continue to raise awareness. I highly recommend this book!!

** I received an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review**

I've had an opportunity to read almost all all the books in this box set and absolutely love all of them! I've read several of these authors before but a few of them are new to me. That is what I enjoy about a box set, getting to meet new authors and characters that I've never had a chance to enjoy before. This set is a perfect set for summer and at this price is steal!

Cora Rule by Mel Curtis -
The Reverend meets his match. Does Cora finally find love or will she throw it all away because she is scared of her own happiness? Then there's Trent, also known as the Reverend, who meets Cora while he is settling in as a new NBA coach and thinks he can just get rid of her and the whole Rule clan. Little does the Reverend realize he has met his match once he and Cora have that first kiss, sparks fly and well, buy the box set and see where it goes!

Surrender to Love by Raine English -
This was a new to me author and I was pleasantly surprised to say that I truly enjoyed her book! In Surrender to Love, Tara has an opportunity to mend a heartbreak and spend a summer with her elderly grandmother she never got to know on an island away from family and friends. While shes there she gets to meet a handsome hunk she mistook as the help, next door. Little did she realize that the "help" would be the one friend and confidant when things become too much to handle in her grandmas home.

The Merry-Go-Round by Donna Fasano -
This was also a new to me author that I enjoyed. Lauren is a lawyer who is more than ready to divorce her husband she has been seperated from for about a year. He however, has been trying to find every reason not to divorce her. Sure their marriage wasn't all fun and games but whose is? In the divorce Lauren receives a piece of property she wasn't aware her husband had. From there her life begins to become a three-ring circus. Will her life ever settle down again? Will she remember what love is or will she harden her heart for good?

Twist of Fate by Patti Forsythe -
Another new to me author that I'm really glad to be introduced to. I fell in love with this book from the beginning. It was full of love, suspense, heartache, and everything more. Rebecca is in a foreign country looking for her sister that has gone missing. While there she runs into her teenage crush Aaron. Aaron is older than Rebecca and never told her he had been in love with her. They have not spoken in 10 years. He insists on helping her find her sister. Throughout the book they must overcome personal obstacles as well as ones standing in their way to track down Rebecca's sister. Will time run out? Will pride be too much for both of them to be honest about their feelings? Let's hope not!

Her French Count by Mona Risk -
An American architect student with a French count what could go wrong there? First, the architect student wasn't to be in France her professor was! Second they are there to help the French count repair his chateau and look for a statue that goes back for centuries in his family. While the American student is in France there seems to be things that happen that bring the Count and the student closer together. As they get closer to finding the statue the pair get closer in feelings. Will they admit what they feel is real or will the Count let her go back to the States?

Love Me Forever by Ari Thatcher -
New to me author. Jen, recently divorce takes a vacation to Maui looking for a relaxing time. What she gets is a sight for sore eyes, her long lost first love, Matt. Matt had given up ever finding Jen again. They picked up like no time had ever passed and in a way that is just perfect for them both but like most Jen gets scared. Matt finds shes left one day and doesnt know where shes gone. What happens next? Want to know? You'll have to read the book. Its worth it!

Playing the Rookie by Rachelle Ayala -
Yummy! A rookie baseball player and a sports intern on the rebound both trying to get over their exes, how hot can that be!!! Jessica falls hard for Jay. Their relationship starts off hot and heavy but can they manage to make it through the baseball season and their exes making trouble for them? What about headlines in the papers and other normal stuff for people involved with anyone in a sports field? If they do the relationship will be well worth it!

Duke of Devonwood by Carly Carson -
New to me author - Miranda and Sharmie (Miranda's stepmother) need to speak with the Duke of Devonwood, Devon, to get an advance on their trust that was left to them by their late dad (and husband respectively). They just didn't realize that the Duke they would be speaking with would be 1, the wrong Duke, and 2, stubborn as all get out! Once they have been sent on their way back to where they came from, Miranda begins scheming on how to get their trust money and one thing leads to another and another and another! This book was well written and filled with characters I loved! I couldn't wait to see what happened with each page I turned.

I'll edit my review to add the rest of the books as soon as I've finished reading those.

An anthology featuring 14 novels and novellas - what a great way to enjoy stories by the authors you already know and like and also try out new authors. I did find some new authors whose stories I really enjoyed and will definitely be putting them on my TBR author list.

Existing authors I already know and like

1) Mel Curtis
Most of the books I have read by Mel Curtis are the sweet romances she write under Melinda Curtis. As Mel, she writes more hot, sexy reads. I think she does both pretty well. Even though I found Cora Rules to be a little slow at the start, the whole story evolved very well. I have not read the first two books in the Hollywood Rules series but I did not feel as if I was missing out on any information. It can be read as a standalone. I'm definitely going to read the rest of the series though.

2) Mona Risk
I have only read a couple of books by Mona Risk before and they were also mainly sweet romances featuring babies. Much as I did enjoy those books, I was thrilled that the book featured in this anthology - Her French Count was of a completely different nature. Featured in the French countryside, it was more romantic and added with the suspense in the story, I totally loved this story. I did manage to guess who the "bad guys" were but the last part was quite unexpected so it was great! Hoping that Mona will write more romantic suspense stories featuring more hot European men :)

3) Patti Forsythe
Patti Forsythe aka Patricia Forsythe aka Patricia Knoll writes mostly sweet romances. The books I have read from her are from her Lucky Break series - a town featuring really quirky characters who make you laugh and fall in love with them. Twist of Fate is of a completely nature - a second chance story that brings you on an adventure to Africa. Although Twist of Fate is of a different nature from the sweet romance of the Lucky Break series, Patti keeps her sense of humor in the story. There were some funny parts which kept me laughing as I was reading. Hope to see more of such stories from Patti.

Authors that I have not read before

1) Raine English
Surrender to Love is Book 1 of the Breakers Island series. It is a novella with a touch of suspense. I quite like how the characters and relationships developed. Even though the pace was quite fast, it didn't really feel rushed. I did enjoy that touch of suspense and paranormal in the story.

2) Ari Thatcher
Love Me Forever is another second chance romance. With just 10 chapters, it's probably a novella or short novel. Even though it was short, it was well-paced and interesting. One's first love is never easily forgotten even though it has been 10 years. Matt lost Jenn 10 years ago and he's not going to lose her again. Very romantic read.

3) Susan Ann Wall
Susan Ann Wall did a great job with Relay for Love. There was laughter as well as tears when reading this. Finding love again to find out that the person you love had the same cancer as your husband who died sure makes it hard. Susan nailed all the emotions and I really love the story. Definitely recommend this to those who haven't read it.

4) Carly Carson
At first, you may think that Duke of Devonwood is a historical romance. But it is not! It features a modern day tycoon who happens to be a duke and is responsible for his father's second family and now to his dismay, a headstrong American woman's inheritance. An arrogant duke versus an independent headstrong American. Sparks will definitely fly. I enjoyed this light-hearted romantic read and was amused by Miranda's audacious spirit.

5) Kelly Collins
I'm not usually a fan of books written in first person. I have read many which were badly written so I'm quite skeptical when I read a book and finds out that it's written in first person. But True North was really well written. It was interesting, well-paced and emotional. Zane makes the perfect book boyfriend. Even though he appeared gruff at first, he turned out to be someone very different. You'd definitely fall in love with him.

6) Keta Diablo
Season, Unforgettable is a story with a twist. It starts out as a normal romance story and develops into a romantic suspense. The main characters Season and Rann were explosive and I loved their characters. There were also some other well written secondary characters. Loved how the happily ever turned out and I'm definitely gonna read more of Keta Diablo's books.

This is a great collection of 14 full length novels and novellas from award winning romance authors. I've only read the first four books in the collection, but trust me I'm definitely looking forward to reading the rest.

Cora Rules by Mel Curtis is the third book in The Hollywood Rules series. Cora Rules is just trying to meet her quota. She's doing her time in the family business and then she's out of here, but her plans change when she meets Trent the head coach for the NBA team that Cora is the life coach for. Trent is all about rules and Cora not only bends the rules she breaks them whenever it best meets her needs. As things heat up between Trent and Cora they both realize that their way isn't always the best way especially when it comes to their relationship.

Surrender to Love by Raine English is the second book in the collection. Tara decides spending the summer with her ailing grandmother is the perfect solution to getting away from her cheating boyfriend and her untrustworthy girlfriend. Tara realizes that there is more going on with her grandmother's illness and in her home than she first thought. Strange things are happening in the house and Tara sets out to find the answers, but when she and her grandmother feel threatened her sexy neighbor moves in. She isn't sure what she is feeling for him is real or if this is all part of rebounding from a bad relationship.

The Merry-Go-Round by Donna Fasano is the third story in this collection. Lauren is so angry with her husband Greg that she just wants their marriage over and done with. When the divorce is granted Lauren expects her life to calm down so that she can get started on her new life, but it doesn't happen like that. Her father becomes her roommate and starts dating Lauren's secretary, her ex-husband is around more than he ever was before and a client's father wants to start dating. In the middle of all of this craziness Lauren realizes that she still has feelings for her ex and isn't sure where to go from here. Now if only her life would slow down some she could figure out what she really wants.

Twist of Fate by Patti Forsythe is the fourth story in this collection and definitely worth the read. It is full of love, passion, betrayal, forgiveness and suspense all rolled up in one.
Rebecca Perris is trying to track down her wayward sister in a foreign country because their father is sick and if he is dying Rebecca wants the family all together with the option of forgiving each other for the past. The last person she expected to see was Aaron al-Rashid the man she had loved at age sixteen, but betrayal and lies had kept them apart.
Aaron doesn't recognize her at first. She has changed a lot from that young woman that he had fallen in love with and not all in a good way. She looks ill, half starved and like she could sleep for hours. He doesn't understand why she is in his country or why she seems to be hiding something from him, but he intends to get to the bottom of it all the while making sure she gets plenty of rest and food to eat. In spite of all of the years apart their attraction to each other hasn't lessened, but is it enough to move forward or will they just have the memories from the past.

This is an anthology consisting of 14 romances by 14 talented authors. I loved the wide variety of stories.

Cora Rules by Mel Curtis is a humorous and entertaining read. NBA coach Trent Parker is on a collision course with love. He wants Cora Rule. They say that opposites attract. Just wait and see what happens. This fast paced novel was an entertaining and sexy read. The characters are well written and the chemistry is off the charts. I wanted Cora to finally get her HEA. She always made bad choices in men, but not this time. Mel Curtis did an excellent job writing a bad girl gone good. I loved this story.

Her French Count by Mona Risk was a sexy romantic suspense story that kept me on the edge of my seat. The story was a roller coaster ride from start to finish. Francois de Valroux is determined to find a priceless statue that was hidden by his grandfather during World War II. He's just not sure who to trust. When Cheryl Stewart arrives in place of her professor, he's wary, but very attracted. Can they work together to find the priceless relic? Will there be a HEA? The characters are skillfully crafted and the setting adds to the romance. The story is fast paced and filled with plenty of suspects. The surprising twist at the end was completely unexpected.

Season, Unforgettable by Keta Diablo took my breath away. This story was an unexpected surprise. When Season meets Rann Brogan, she's determined to hate him. He and his mother are trying to take her land, but she can't fight the attraction. Season and Rann fall in love. Their relationship makes Season a target for a killer. Will they get a HEA? I enjoyed the easy banter between the lovers. The story started as a feel good romance then changed into a suspenseful thriller. I didn't see it coming. I couldn't stop reading until I knew the outcome. This new to me author wrote a highly intriguing and emotional story.

The Duke of Devonwood by Carly Carson is a frothy romance that made me smile. I loved the feisty American, Miranda. She's determined to make the Duke give into her demand to release part of her inheritance. If she can't persuade him to her will then she'll seduce him. The Duke is adamant that he won't give in. He has a responsibility to administer her father's estate. Their battle of wills is very sexy and humorous. When these two are together, sparks fly. The secondary characters are humorous and annoying. They provide plenty of distraction. The setting is glamorous and romantic. The lively dialogue made me laugh. I enjoyed this book!

True North by Kelly Collins was such a feel good story. Alexa is running away from loss and heartbreak. Unfortunately her car breaks down and she's rescued by a handsome but grumpy man. Not a very good way to meet the man of your dreams! Zane is a mystery. Is he a good guy or a jerk? This was a story that had great characters and a charming small town where everyone was kind and friendly. The attraction between Alexa and Zane was powerful. When you add a cuddly baby to the mix, I was hooked. This story made me feel good. I loved it! The ending was perfect.

This anthology is amazing. It's a perfect for summer at the beach.

Season, Unforgettable (Contemporary Romance, Romance Suspense) Kindle Edition
BY KETA DIABLO
5.0 out of 5 stars KETA DIABLO HAS A GREAT NEW HIT HERE...YOU WILL ENJOY FROM BEGINNING TO END,
I loved this story and would have loved for it to just kept going. I'm sure that everyone has read a book that they could have enjoyed it no matter how long it was. This is one of those books. You have a young Romani woman Season Scrimshaw, who loves her land, the woods, the animals, and her grandfather Duna Scrimshaw's gardens. But there is also a 26 year old man,Rann Brogan who works for his mother, a determined woman who wants all the land, including Season's to build condominiums. Rann must decide if his mother wishes or Seasons wishes are most important to him.Now Rann tries to control his mother,to make her leave Season's land alone. But there is also Martin, his mothers boyfriend or as he calls him her lapdog.Season will be torn apart from Duna and Rann for years during which Rann will learn a lot about his mom's business, life and a final gift to him. WHICH will be most important, and lead him to a surprise he will never expect, and happiness for Duna, Rann and Season. This book will give you a happy ever after, and a chance for more stories to be told of the people you will come to love, should this wonderful author ever decide to write more.

5 OUT OF 5 CORA RULES
BY MEL CURTIS
In this story you have Cora Rules who dreamed of studying fashion in Paris, then her father dies and she finds out some crazy rules left in her father's will, and it doesn't just affect her but her big brother and sister. The business is The Dooley Foundation....Life Coaches....and Cora, her half sister Amber and brother Blue and for them to get their inheritance. They each have to meet a preset sales quota (both Amber and Blue have met their's) but not Cora.So they assigned Jack and Vivian Gordon and their NBA Basketball team (The L.A. Flash) to her. Now that will include the new coach Trent Parker, so squeaky clean he's called The Reverend, and does not belief in life coaches(cults, he thinks they are), and babying his players. Cora's way of connecting with each of these people and others can lead to a lot of laughs , but she is usually right. There are lots of surprises and quite a few twist and turns as Blue and Amber try to keep Cora in the business and little bits of the will keep coming from the lawyer for the Rules to figure out like a puzzle.I do want to read the rest of the rule books and hope she someday decides to do more about them.

Rann Brogan and his mother see the development of the land differently but when Season goes missing Rann is torn apart and tries to find her. Things turn stranger after a series of events that no one could have predicted. Can Season regain what she lost and still keep her family safe.

The author wrote some very good characters in this story and I was hooked from the beginning of it. The story line flow was smooth as silk from start to finish and a pleasure to read.

This book is for any romance suspense book lover who like a little more in their books.

Most Likely to Turn up the Heat by Cheryl Harper

>Book Review - Book Boyfriends Cafe Summer Lovin Anthology - True North by Kelly Collins

>True North is a stand alone story and ends with an HEA.

>Alexa just escaped a bad marriage and a horrible divorce that succeeded in separating her from her parents also. She leaves with just some money and her purse. Driving a piece of crap car, Alexa beaks down in a deserted area out side of LA. Fate brings Zane by in his truck to rescue her and her car. Living in a motel across the street from a bar, Alexa enters the bar to a new life.

>Zane is a single father, struggling to raise his son, care for an ailing mother and run a bar. Alexa begins working for him and the sparks fly. The romance happens quickly and is beautiful to see. I thought there would be a bit of a custody battle, but nothing like that ever came to fruition. The scenes with baby Aaron and his grandma were so touching. I would have liked more interaction with some of the bar "regulars", but other than that, this story was a sweet HEA with a sexy, alpha lead, a woman who is learning her worth and the cutest baby ever!

> This story is for an adult (18+) audience due to sexual content. I recommend this for anyone who enjoys a positive love story.

I received this box set for my honest review
I knew when I review the list of authors I wouldn't be let down, I truly enjoyed reading Cora Rules’ story which is the third in the Hollywood Rules book series by Mel Curtis. Even though this is the third book of the "Hollywood Rules" it can be read as a stand alone. This story has great character development, you'll enjoy how complicated Cora's life can be, her public image isn't always as it appears, and yet deep down in private desires the fairly tale we have grown up with.
Then there's coach Trent who has worked hard to get to the NBA and needs to focus to make the new team his own, but life happens and there is all sorts of distractions (gotta love it!) . In the end I realized how important family is.

Twist of fate by Patti Forsythe
This author is new to me, but don't let that stop you! I'm excited to say once I started this book I could not put it down. It is very well written with great character development, (l enjoyed the detailed scenes). I was made it feel that I was there with Rebecca and Aaron. This story tells of how a white lie can have a rippling effect and touch so many lives. How a teenage love can blossom in to a "forever love" and ultimately how important family is even if they are estranged.

This is a review for My Favorite What If by Lyssa Layne only from the Book Boyfriends Café Summer Lovin’.

This is Smitty’s story from Everybody’s After Love but can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend reading EAL not only because you meet Smitty in that book but because it’s a great story all on its own.

Smitty and Sloan are a true match. The way they handle their relationships or lack of being able to be in committed relationships just proves how perfect they are for one another. They have both been hurt in the worse possible way but what they find out about each other’s past is just jaw dropping and a complete surprise.

Lyssa Layne gives us stories that are true romance so if you’re looking for hard erotica this is not that book. Don’t get me wrong there are some really hot sex scenes that will leave you panting. But if you are interested in a heartwarming, emotion filled story with a climax “you never saw coming” then this is a one click for you.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Who doesn’t enjoy a top-notch boxed set?

I, for one do, and I made sure to grab ‘Book Boyfriends Café’ before I headed to the beach for the day. I had already read my fave author Lyssa Layne’s My Favorite What If… twice!  I sorta’, kinda’ fell madly in love with the character, Smitty, and the story was sexy and gave me the warm and fuzzies all over. Adored it, but since I told you I read it twice, that might have been a given.

As an avid reader, I’m constantly seeking out new authors and this set so wonderfully introduced me to many for the first time, but certainly not the last.
I became more and more impressed with the quality of writing, and quickly became enveloped in a warm cocoon of suspense and intrigue.

From second chance love, to danger and mystery, this set will appeal to all of your senses, leaving you in a fictional cloud of contentment.

I give, Book Boyfriend’s Cafe’ Summer Lovin’, 5 summer sunshine stars!

So far, I have only read Cora Rules. Trent is known as the Reverend. He feels he has to keep up appearances and he does not want to get mixed up with Cora. She could blow it all for him. Cora doesn't believe in love and has so many hangups about her family. She doesn't want to get mixed up with someone so old fashioned. They have both been let down by their families and it is really hard to trust anyone. At some point they are going to have to let go of old dreams and hurts so they can learn to trust and love.

I have also read A Twist of Fate by Patti Forsythe. Becca met Aaron when she was 16 and fell in love with him. He was 21 and wouldn't act on his attraction to her. Ten years later they have a chance meeting and the sparks fly. There have been lies, misunderstandings and then they live in completely different places. They have a grand adventure, but can they overcome all that is between them to be together?

True North by Kelly Collins

True North came highly recommend. After reading it I can see why! I absolutely loved this book. All the characters are easily relatable, and the story is true to life. Hurtful things happen to good people and it brings them down, however there will always be a chance to get back on track and look up and just head True North! That's what happens with Alexa when she heads 'True North'. She meets Zane and he turns her life into something she's never experienced! With Zane she experiences things she's never known! They change each other for the good! I highly recommend this book to any and all! It's a true love story, starting with heartbreak and ending with a HEA!

It took me longer than I wanted to to finish these stories. I started them in summer, and only now finished the last one. I enjoyed all the stories, some more than others. Some seemed to have more typos than others, too — but the ones with more typos weren't necessarily the ones I liked less. My favorites were CORA RULES, LOVE ME FOREVER, DUKE OF DEVONWOOD, TRUE NORTH and RELAY FOR LOVE. Interestingly, the story that enticed me to buy the anthology (after reading an excerpt on a blog), took me forever to finish.

This is a wonderful collection of full length romance novels for a bargain price. While the individual books have been previously released, many of them are still selling for $4-$5 each. So far, I've only read a few of these books, but have absolutely loved them. If you love contemporary romance, this is the perfect collection.
