Apollo IX #1 is part of a series of four one-shots released between IXth Generation #4 and IXth Generation #5 which included Athena IX #1, Artemis IX #1, Apollo IX #1 and finally Poseidon IX #1. I got the entire series as part of the "Humble Comics Bundle: Sex & Science by Top Cow."

Apollo IX failed to leave a lasting impression. The story lacked direction and failed to captivate my interest. The artwork was unremarkable, failing to elevate the reading experience. Overall, it was a lackluster reading experience deserving of only two stars out of five.
