A powerful man in the CIA hires a psychopath to assassinate a foreign diplomat who plans to testify against him. But the psychopath, who calls himself "Digger," has his own agenda and list of victims, including a cop named Henry Culver whom Digger thinks "cheated" by presenting false evidence against him in court. When murders start mounting in a quiet Virginia town, it is up to Culver to find out who is behind an explosive and baffling trail of violence. By the author of the New York Times bestseller Balefire.
Ken Goddard describes himself as "a crime scene investigator, forensic scientist, wildlife crime lab director, husband, father, grandfather, supposed cattle rancher, and more to the point, a fiction author who writes fiction novels about professional terrorists, underground chemists, demented burglars and malicious poachers for any number of reasons."
I oouldn't finish this book. It was too confusing. Every time a character would have depth the chapter would change a new character would be introduced. It was distracting.
