Megan's father died and he has left her a 1957 DeSoto Adventurer.
Noah has been trying to find that exact same model for years. Megan does not want to sell the car to anybody. She is even reluctant to loan it to her best friend Angie to use in her wedding to Jackson. Noah believes he can get Megan to sell it to him. He is so sure he is going to get that car he makes a thousand dollar bet with Jackson. Noah is Jackson's best man, Megan is Angie's maid of honor.

Neither Megan or Noah want a relationship or plan to get married. There is a lot of chemistry between them as they plan for the wedding. This is the third book in the series and I found it to be a delightful romance novel.

This was cute but very predictable story. Megan is heartbroken and never wants to fall in love again here come Noah a boy from California who is heart broken and never wants to fall in love again..I wonder what will happen next. lol Not a bad story I love the fact that Megan has her own candle company and she lives in an old gas station. Cast of characters is great to.

Every Yesterday is the second book in the Boot Creek series by Nancy Naigle. Naigle is one of the romance authors whose books I always enjoy reading. Nancy is able to create small towns in her books that are welcoming and endearing.

The story centers around an amazingly gorgeous vintage car...a 1958 DeSoto Adventurer. Memories give the two main characters reasons for loving that model of car. Megan inherited her father's DeSoto Adventurer and Noah has been trying to find one for years. He is stunned to find such an impressive vehicle in a small North Carolina town where he is attending his best friends wedding. Megan is definitely not selling but Noah is convinced he can change her mind. In fact he even makes a wager about it that you just know is going to haunt him later on....

Well it's not just about a car. Every Yesterday is about a wedding. The two main characters are the maid of honor and the best man. Megan and Noah have been burned by love before and are definitely not looking...but that car! And the sparks that fly between them whenever they meet.

I thoroughly enjoyed Every Yesterday. It is well written and a great story. Now that I know about DeSoto Adventurers...I want one...love a car with big fins! This romance has all the right ingredients needed for pleasurable reading. I am glad that the characters from the first book in the series, Life After Perfect, are front and center in this one.

Highly recommend Every Yesterday. It is available August 30th.

Sometimes you find love even though you were never expecting to fall in love again. Megan is quite the talented independent woman who is dreading being in her friends wedding because she thinks all marriages end badly. Noah the devoted bachelor doesn't believe in getting married because woman will just take your stuff when they leave you. Noah finds out that Megan is the owner a classic car that are very rare. Noah will do anything in his power to have Megan sell him the car. He even makes a bet with his buddies that Megan will sell him the car. Read the rest of the book to see where their story ends. This story shows that Nancy Naigle is indeed a lover of cars as well.. Make sure you read the very end with all of the hard work and research she put herself through. I remember the day that Nancy posted a picture of the car that she bought at an auction. Thank you for allowing me to review this book for you.

For me, Every Yesterday was one of those very special books. It was the type of book I don't just read, but experience. There were so many wonderful moments, and I loved the theme of yesterdays. Nancy Naigle always seems to use the perfect words that help me see and feel everything, and make every touching moment memorable. My heart was breaking for Megan when she was struggling with the car, but I was overjoyed with some of the other moments as well. I don't want to give anything away. I love the song that goes with the book too. It couldn't have been more perfect. It's the second book in the series, but can definitely stand on it's own. However, Boot Creek is amazing, and I highly recommend you visit it as much as you can. If you love it half as much as I did, you won't want to leave the place or it's lovely people. I enjoyed reading "Every Yesterday" by Nancy Naigle,and want to thank NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity of an advanced read. The characters are enjoyable,the plot is predictable.and this is an easy enjoyable summer read. I especially enjoyed the friendship of the characters. The story starts with the preparation of a wedding,and introduces you to the characters.Megan,has inherited her Dad's classic car,which holds wonderful memories of their life together. Noah, the groom's best man buys limited edition cars, and realizes this is the car of his dreams and bets his friends he will get this car.This book also deals with issues of trust, love, memories of the past, and present.

First time reading this author, and I was charmed. Strong characters and plot line. Good stand alone book, but makes you want to read the other books in the series to see what happens to the characters. I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars only because at the end of the book Megan goes after Noah and I'm more into the hero doing a big gesture rather than the heroine. If you like a strong female character who gets herself a happy ending this book is for you. Highly recommend.

4.5 stars - A small town standalone contemporary car lovers romance between two people not looking for love that also incorporates a secret bet theme

Every Yesterday really drew me in from it’s blurb and as a new reader to Nancy Naigle I had no idea what to expect but I really enjoyed this book. Every Yesterday is a small town standalone contemporary romance that also incorporates a secret bet theme and a car lovers romance between two people not looking for romance. While it is part of a series, I followed along no problem and loved all the characters in this book. This is a relatively light hearted read with an undertone of tension and brewing drama that will have you hanging on right until the very end.

Megan and Noah had a sweet connection and while the book isn’t overly explicit, there is enough heat between the couple to keep you intrigued as to how this relationship will pan out. The emotional connection these two made was perfect with their similar feelings of not looking for romance after being hurt previously in different ways and also especially with their deep rooted bonds to Megan’s car. The scenario’s in how Megan and Noah grew closer worked really well to develop the characters and their relationship in the short time-frame of the book to a good level, adding a level of believability to their feelings. The dual perspectives you get through the book helped round the characters further and the sub-characters showed differing perspectives and thoughts of Megan and Noah.

The book is well written with a good flow and had a fast pace which worked well given the time frame of the storyline plot of a week. The only thing that confused me initially as I was reading was during a chapter it would switch from Megan’s perspective to Noah’s with no clear break. I eventually got used to it but the first time I ended up flicking back to check if I had missed something. It’s not a bad thing switching perspectives but I was a little confused and wanted to warn people so they know to expect it. Doesn’t happen in every chapter but enough throughout the book to notice in my opinion. The book can be read as a standalone as all ties for Megan and Noah are tied up with a HEA.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to any romance fans out there.

Every Yesterday (Boot Creek) by Nancy Naigle is an amazing small town book about HEA and finding that perfect person for you when you least expect it, when you are not looking for it, when you really don't think that you deserve it. This is the story of Noah and Megan.

Megan Howard makes beautiful candles, but at one time, she was a thriving painter who thought that she had the world at her finger tips. That was until she found out that her fiance was a drug addict, who stole her money, and the money from her paintings to support his habit, only to overdose and leave her with nothing. Struggling to recover and make a life for herself, when her father passes away, she is thrown down the rabbit hole again. It is only the 1958 DeSoto Adventurer that he leave her, and the memories that she shared with him that keep her afloat. When her best friend was promised that she could use the car as her drive away car at her wedding, Megan is looking of a way to convince her otherwise.

Noah Black has never seen a car he could not get. He restores cars for a living, running "California Dreaming Care Restoration", and he has been looking for years to get his hands on the 1958 DeSoto Adventurer that Megan now has in her possession. Making a bet with his buddies that before the bride and groom ride off into the sunset for their honeymoon, he will own that DeSoto, Noah has to come up with a plan.

But as Noah and Megan spend time together, working on projects, having dinner together and talking about their hopes and dreams, Noah realizes that it is more about the woman and less about the car. When Megan overhears a conversation about the bet, she wonders if her fractured heart only imagined the connection she and Noah shared. Noah will need to prove with grand gestures that he wants Megan, with or without the car.

I loved the connection that Megan and Noah had. Yes, it started with a bet, yes Noah at first only wanted the car, but the connection and the common ground, common interests that Megan and Noah shared were undeniable. I love that Noah knew how hard it was for Megan to let go of the past, to push herself outside of her little bubble of safety and live. But he was there for her every pain filled moment, from showing her paintings, to allowing her best friend to drive her daddy's car in the wedding.

I loved this book! It is exactly what I’m looking for in a contemporary romance. You have two people who have been jaded due to past relationships thrown together by circumstances beyond their control. They are both successful career-wise but they lack trust. They both need someone that attracts them intellectually and physically. On top of that, I am a sucker for a small town where everyone knows everyone else. Ms. Naigle describes her setting so well that everyone will want to move to a small town in North Carolina. An Advanced Reading Copy was received in exchange for an honest review.

When Megan's father unexpectedly passed away, she inherited his prize possession, a '58 Desoto Adventurer. She is very emotionally attached, having lots of wonderful memories driving around with the top down. Megan had many offers to buy the Adventurer, but she will NEVER sell it. When Noah heard about the Adventurer, he knew he had to have it.
Megan & Noah spent time together, their feelings grew for one another. But in Noah's mind, he wants that car!
Will they finally admit their love for each other or will his obsession for the car ruin their future.
The book is wonderful, I could not put it down!!
A must read for everyone!!

In this one Nancy Naigle takes us back to Boot Creek, NC (finally)!! I fell in love with this little fictional town in Life After Perfect and have been patiently waited for the next installment in the series. This can easily be read standalone though so don't let it stop you if you haven't read the first one yet. This a wonderful sweet story of how two very different people can bond over something as crazy as a car. Megan Howard loved her father and the one thing he left her when he died was his 1958 DeSoto Adventurer. She may need money in the worst way but selling her Daddy's car isn't on the table. Car enthusiast and confirmed bachelor Noah Black is in Boot Creek for his buddy's wedding when he spots the car. He's determined to have it and the gorgeous maid of honor that owns it!!

A fun sweet read you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it.

This is my first Nacey Naigle novel and I wouldn't have known about her books if it wasn't for a friend request I received from her through a mutual author we know. I jumped at the chance of reading and reviewing this novel.

It took a few chapters for me to get in to it but mainly because of the language being not British but I soon got past that. I soon found that I was guessing the plot and although it is a bit predictable I enjoyed finding out exactly how Noah was going to do it (sorry no spoiler). I was screaming in my head quite early on that he is making a big mistake but I do like to read books that can be predictable and I enjoy seeing how the author is going to get the story there.

I will definitely read more of Nacey's novels as I've not put it down, which is a very good sign.

This is a fun fast paced book about a car, a woman, and a man Noah who is a car collector and has been looking for the exact same 1958 Desoto Adventurer, and wouldn’t you know it he has to travel across country to find one. Arriving in a small town for a friend’s wedding in Boot Creek N.C. He is amazed by the car and sets in motion a plan to buy it. Not knowing that he does not have a chance in h—l. when he finally realizes this it is too late for he has fallen for Megan and she has finally allowed a man back into her life which has been years. When it falls apart by her finding out about the bet that was made the first day she is crushed and how will it end read the story and find out. a good book. I got this book from netgalley. I've heard a lot of good things about Nancy Naigle so when this popped up on Netgalley I decided to give it a try.

I thought the story was ok but I did struggle a bit with the writing style. I felt like it was more of telling how people felt more so than showing and it was a bit repetitious. I also thought the story was a bit slow moving and it took awhile to get into it.

The ending was where I was most disappointed though and I don't want to ruin it but I thought it felt rushed, I didn't like how the conflict was resolved and was overall disappointed with how the ending was executed.

I did like the supporting characters so I will most likely check out at least one more book before deciding about this author.

We get to head back to Boot Creek NC with the long awaited second book from author Nancy Naigle in the series. The love story of Megan and Noah, brought together at the wedding of their best friends. Megan lets her best friend use the classic car she owns for her wedding. Noah is coming to Boot Creek to be the best man in his best friends wedding. Noah, an automobile collector will do anything to add that car to his collection. A great read with everything you want in a book! Humor, heartbreak and a happily ever after.

Every Yesterday was a nice sweet light read. Clearly the love of classic cars is something personal for Naigle, it's not the first book it's shown up in but this time it's a main plot point. It's a cute story well written even if it is a bit predictable. Boot Creek isn't as quirky or suspenseful as the Adams Grove series which I really enjoyed. The car and candle making information was interesting, Maggie and Noah were cute but it was a little lackluster.

This was a great read. The story and characters were really strong. I thought the ending was great. I just wish that the hero did the big gesture instead of the heroine. This book can be read as a standalone or you can read the whole series. I can't wait to read more books from this author. Overall, an enjoyable read.

This was pretty mediocre. I didn't really like the conflict with the car. I couldn't imagine the attachment either of the MCs felt for it. I felt it went on and on to the point of ridiculous and since that is pretty much the whole plot, I couldn't really get past it.

Loved it! Two people who are connected through their love for one specific model of a car. He has to take a chance and let go of his bachelorhood to understand that being in a couple has so many advantages. She needs to let go of her past and take a chance on love again.

Dnf @59% nothing is really happening and the story is slower then I usually like. While the characters are interesting they just aren't doing anything to keep this story moving along. At the moment I have to shelf this title and maybe come back to it at a later date.

Review: As romance novels go, this one isn't half bad. The characters are well drawn, witty, believable. The situations not so much. In this book, the hero and heroine seem to fall in love quickly and get married quickly, based on that tingly feeling of "true love". Well, in my opinion that's more than a bit unrealistic. Why would you think you love someone you were introduced to last night -- or even last week? I know this phenomenon does occasionally result in marriages that last, but usually what feels like "true love" turns out to be true lust and that doesn't really stand the test of time. This is one of the reasons I don't much like romance novels. (Mount soapbox here.) Women get sold this line of **** -- that true love is easy and you CAN live happily ever after -- in book after book and many of us come to believe it. Why do we accept this from publishers? You can't just have a wedding and coast for the rest of your life. Good marriages take WORK. And if two people agree 100% of the time, one of them is redundant. (Dismount soapbox here.)

If you like romance novels, you'll probably love this book. Ms. Naigle does a good job setting the scene, pulling the reader into the character's head, injecting humor into the situation. And she does it without a whole lot of graphic sex or foul language. These are good things. If you're like me and don't much care for this genre, I can tell you it isn't a really boring read. In fact a couple of places made me laugh out loud.

Why are so many romance books (dare I say most romance books?) so very predictable? As soon as the love interests were introduced - before they even met! - it was obvious that they would end up together... eventually. Of course there was the obligatory bump in the road along the way, but even that bump wasn't allowed to fester very long.

Despite all that, I like the way this author writes her stories, which is probably why I keep coming back to her books. There's nothing to figure out except how the two main characters will end up together and how their bump in the road will be resolved, but at least the story is well-written.

There is one book remaining in this series, and I'll read it eventually. First I need to crawl back into my usual world of mystery, murder and mayhem for a while!

Nancy Naigle is a very good writer. I like this series very much the new characters in book 2 are very believable. I am happy to see that Nancy Naigle carries the characters from the first book over to the second book with the new characters. This was a page turner, had a very hard time putting down the book. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. If you are into romance in a small town, this book is definately for you. I recommend this book to my friends and family to read.
